Steven G. Cochrane, PhD, is Chief APAC Economist with Moody’s Analytics. He leads the Asia economic analysis and forecasting activities of the Moody’s Analytics research team, as well as the continual expansion of the company’s international, national and subnational forecast models. In addition, Steve directs consulting projects for clients to help them understand the effect of regional economic developments on their business under baseline forecasts and alternative scenarios. Steve’s expertise lies in providing clear insights into an area’s or region’s strengths, weaknesses and comparative advantages, relative to macro or global economic trends.

Steve holds a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania and is a Penn Institute for Urban Research Scholar. He also holds a master's degree from the University of Colorado at Denver and a bachelor's degree from the University of California at Davis.
Martin Petch is a Vice President – Senior Credit Officer with Moody’s Sovereign Risk Group. Based in Singapore, he covers a portfolio of sovereign credits in the Asia Pacific region – including China, Australia, Hong Kong - as well as credits in Central Asia and the Caucasus. Martin joined Moody’s in 2017, after working as the Manager of Economic Analysis and Research with BHP Billiton covering its key commodity markets, China, Japan and India, economies in the South East Asian region, and the major advanced economies.
Martin also held various positions with the Australian Commonwealth Treasury, the Commonwealth Bank and the Australian Industry Group.
Martin was a graduate in Economics from the University of Western Australia.
Stephen is a founder and Managing Partner of Mekong Strategic Partners (MSP), bringing to MSP two decades of experience in banking and financial services, communications, leadership, and strategy. At MSP, Stephen has specialised in Corporate Advisory, and has advised on some the largest transactions in Cambodia in recent years.
Prior to this, Stephen worked for ANZ Banking Group for 18 years, most recently as CEO of ANZ Royal Bank in Cambodia. Before moving to ANZ Royal Bank, Stephen was ANZ's Group Head of Investor Relations, responsible for ANZ's global investor relations program and for the management of ANZ's relationships with investors, brokers, ratings agencies, and market regulators. Stephen’s earlier roles in ANZ included roles in Corporate Banking and Esanda Finance, ANZ's leasing subsidiary.
Stephen has an MBA from Melbourne Business School, a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University, and a Bachelor of Economics from Monash University.
Mr. Raymond Sia currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Board Director of Canadia Bank.
Prior to joining Canadia Bank, Raymond served in various senior management and leadership roles with international and regional banks in Malaysia and Vietnam, namely Public Bank , Standard Chartered Bank ( Malaysia & Vietnam ) and Hong Leong Bank Vietnam where he was the Chief Executive Officer/ General Director.
Raymond started his banking career as a Graduate Trainee with Public Bank in Malaysia in 1994 where he spent 11 years in various roles such as Head of Syndication & Capital Markets and Head of Credit Processing.
In Standard Chartered Bank, Raymond held various leadership roles from Director of Local Corporates to Head of Global Corporates, with his last position as Head of SME Banking & General Director / CEO of Hanoi Branch , Standard Chartered Bank.
Raymond has more than 27 years of Banking, Treasury and Financial Services experience across multiple senior management roles in Cambodia , Malaysia & Vietnam.
