Eugene Tarzimanov is a Senior Vice President in the Financial Institutions Group in Asia. Based in Singapore, he is the Lead Analyst for banks in Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
Eugene is also responsible for coordinating banking research across Asia Pacific, and actively represents Moody’s to regulators, investors and the media on analytical and methodological views. Eugene moved to Singapore from Moody’s Moscow office, where he covered the largest banks in Russia, as well as financial institutions in Europe and the Middle East.
Before joining Moody’s in early 2009, Eugene held senior positions during his five years with Standard & Poor’s, where he was responsible for the analysis of banks in Europe and the Middle East. He has also worked at the CEO’s office of Bank VTB, where he was responsible for inhouse research.
Eugene holds an MBA in financial management from New York’s Pace University, and a BSc in international economics from Moscow’s Finance Academy.

Tana Pothikamjorn currently serves as CEO at KASIKORN LINE, a joint venture company between LINE Corporation and KASIKORNBANK. The JV will offer full range of financial services covering transactions, lending, insurance, and investment to 44 million users of messaging platform in Thailand.
Tana brings over 7 years of experience in Thai banking industry as Head of Digital Banking at Siam Commercial Bank. Under his leadership, the bank grew its mobile banking user base from the ground up to over 10 million users. Tana also brings technology expertise working in Silicon Valley prior to moving back to Thailand.
Tana is a frequent speaker in the region on various topics around digital technology, mobile payments, transformation, and agile development. He has recently been recognized as “Digital Banker of the Year 2018” in Asia by The Asset Magazine.
Tana holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineer with Major in Economics and Pre-Medicine from Northwestern University and a Master of Science in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
Hans Grisel is Chief Risk Officer of TMBThanachart Bank Public Company Limited based in Bangkok, Thailand. He is an internationally experienced banker with a strong background in lending (SME, corporate and project finance), risk management (credit, problem loans, non-financial risk) and general management (branch and country manager roles in various countries).
Hans joined ttb in July 2018. In 2015 – 2018, while working in ING, Hans was appointed as an ING representative to serve as a Non-Executive Board Member of TMB Bank.
In joining ttb Hans brought over 30 years of experience in ING, among others as Head of Power Finance and later Head of Credit Restructuring for ING Asia. Thereafter, he served as Country Manager in Japan, Singapore, Ukraine and Russia. Subsequently, he widened his experience in Risk Management as a Global Head of Non-Financial Risk, Global Head of Operational Risk Management and Chief Operation Officer Risk Domain respectively.
Hans earned his bachelor and master degrees in Business Administration from Nyenrode Business University, the Netherlands. He also received a certificate for Non-Executive Director’s training from Nyenrode Business University.
Dr. Kobsak Pootrakool is Director and Senior Executive Vice President at Bangkok Bank, one of Thailand’s largest commercial banks. Prior to joining the bank, He served as Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office of Thailand, supervising the Board of Investment, the National Economic and Social Development Council, the National Research Council, as well as the Office of SMEs Promotion. He had also served as a former Vice Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office as well as a former member of the Constitution Drafting Committee before being appointed as the Minister.
From 2010 to 2015, Dr. Kobsak worked at Bangkok Bank as a Chief Economist and an Executive Vice President, International Banking Group. He achieved several projects including banking license approval from the Central Bank of Myanmar in 2015.
From 1996 to 2010, he had worked with the Bank of Thailand and the Stock Exchange of Thailand. He helped develop and implement the monetary policy and financial institution policy. He was an Executive of the Monetary Policy Strategy Division and seconded to SET from 2008 to 2009 as Senior Vice President in Strategic Planning Department. He also served as an Executive Director of the SET Research Institute for Capital Market.
Dr. Kobsak’s awards include the Puay Ungpakorn Medal in 2009, given to the best young economist in Thailand. He has published extensively within Thailand and internationally. He also is a frequent media commentator.
Dr. Kobsak holds a PhD in macroeconomics and international economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a BA in mathematics and economics from Williams College.
