Li Ma is a Managing Director for Moody’s Ratings and is responsible for supporting a portfolio of corporate ratings in mainland China. He is based in Shanghai. Li’s first stint at Moody’s was between June 2002 and August 2007. He leftMoody’s as a Senior Analyst and Vice President in the Structured Finance Group inHong Kong to work for the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). At RBS, Li held multiple credit review and approval roles before his appointment as the Chief Risk Officer inChina.Li rejoined Moody’s in April 2013, served as the President of China ChengxinInternational Credit Rating Co. Ltd. — a Moody’s affiliate — until January 2017, where he was responsible for all aspects of operations. Li is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a BA from Fudan University and an MBA from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Jin Wu is a Vice President-Senior Analyst in the basic industries team in New York. He covers a portfolio of high-yield and investment grade chemical companies, conducts fundamental credit analysis and publishes issuer and sector research.
Prior to Jin’s current role, he supported ratings and research for a portfolio of APAC companies with focus on chemicals and metals & mining industries in Moody’s Shanghai office. Before that, Jin conducted corporate credit research and financial analysis at various financial institutions in the US, including Genworth Financial, Capital One, and Washington Mutual (now JP Morgan). Jin has covered sectors including basic industries, construction, utilities, telecommunications, media and technology, and financial.
Jin holds an MBA from the University of Washington's Foster School of Business, and a Bachelor’s degree from China’s Foreign Affairs University. He is also a CFA charterholder.
Yining Zhang is an Associate Analyst in Moody's Ratings & Research Support team. Based in Shanghai, she mainly focuses on the credit analysis of Chinese state-owned enterprises.
Prior to joining Moody's, Yining worked for the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as a research analyst.
Yining holds a Master's in Applied Economics from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's in International Economics and Trade from Fudan University.
