Humd Munawar is a Managing Director at Moody’s Analytics, leading the commercial teams for KYC and Data Solutions across Europe & Africa.   He has spent over a decade in the business intelligence space, working across credit, risk and compliance for financial institutions and corporates in the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa.  Firstly for SNL Financial, then for Bureau van Dijk, which was acquired by Moody’s Analytics in 2017. 

Humd has an honours degrees in business administration,  accounting and finance and an honours degree in sustainable performance management, as well as management level certification from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in the UK.

Keith Berry is the Head of the Corporate and Government business at Moody’s. He leads a passionate and dedicated organization focused on empowering customers to navigate a world of exponential risk with confidence.  

By leveraging Moody’s world-class data assets, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Innovative software solutions, Keith’s team enable customers to make better, faster decisions.  

Since joining Moody’s in 2008, Keith has held various leadership roles across product management, software engineering, and professional services. He most recently led the Third-Party Risk and Compliance (KYC) business.

Currently based in London, Keith has also lived and worked in New York, San Francisco, Paris, and Hong Kong, bringing a wealth of global experience to his role. 

Keith holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Durham and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. 

Dr. Christine Bailey is Senior Director and Head of KYC Marketing in Europe and Africa, for Moody’s Analytics.  She was previously CMO of PassFort, a SaaS RegTech provider whose platform automates anti-financial crime and compliance processes. PassFort was acquired by Moody’s Analytics in Dec 2021.

Christine has spent her career in B2B Tech/FinTech marketing roles, leading European marketing functions for Hewlett-Packard and Cisco Systems as well as for pre-IPO companies. 

Prior to joining PassFort she was Managing Director, SMB UK, at Valitor, a European payment solutions company. 

A respected thought-leader and public speaker with two TEDx Talks, Christine appeared in Onalytica’s ‘Who’s Who in FinTech’ guide.  She is a published author of “Customer Insight Strategies: How to understand your audience and create remarkable marketing” and contributing author of The PAYTECH book.  She has a doctorate (DBA) in customer insight and is on the advisory board of EWPN (European Women in Payments Network).

Alex is Managing Director & Head of PassFort, a SaaS RegTech solution that automates anti-financial crime and compliance processes.  He has built on his engineering heritage to develop an unrivalled knowledge of the people, processes, and technology needed to implement and operate KYC successfully.

Alex was one of the founding members of PassFort, joining in 2017 as a solutions engineer and going on to build and lead the Customer Success team.  He became the Head of PassFort following its acquisition by Moody’s Analytics in December 2021.

Prior to PassFort, Alex was a Solutions Director/Solutions Engineer in the SaaS martech industry.  He holds a first-class honours degree in Computer Science from University of Southampton.

Ted leads Moody’s Financial Crime Compliance industry practice in Europe, Africa & Americas. He has spent the last decade helping organisations harness data and technology to improve their risk-based approach to customer and third-party due diligence. Teds’ practise group drives innovation in Moody’s product strategy and helps their customers make better, faster decisions the era of exponential risk.

Ted is a regular contributor to global anti-corruption forums and an active supporter of public-private collaboration initiatives. He was a member of the winning team at the FCA’s Global AML and Financial Crime TechSprint addressing beneficial ownership registry reconciliation for the benefit of all market participants. He is also a founding member of the DT4C (Data & Technology for Compliance) industry alliance, a collective advocacy group working to ensure regulated entities have the data they need to combat financial crime.

Ted holds ACAMS certification and a Diploma in Financial Crime Prevention from the International Compliance Association.

Anna advises individuals and corporates on all aspects of financial crime and economic sanctions risk, compliance and enforcement.

Anna is ranked in Chambers and Partners UK (2022) as “a well-known expert on anti-money laundering” and is also recommended for her specialist knowledge of economic sanctions.  She is described as an "excellent lawyer", "who understands sanctions and POCA very well".

She has been a member of the Law Society’s EU Committee since 2011 and has given evidence in Parliament on EU criminal law and criminal justice cooperation matters. She is Consultation Secretary to the Fraud Lawyers' Association (FLA) and consultant adviser to Thomson Reuters Practical Law as a member of the Consultation Board for Business Crime & Investigations.

Anna co-edits The Guide to Sanctions, published by the Global Investigations Review (currently in its third edition) and co-wrote the chapter 'Representing Designated Persons: A UK Lawyer’s Perspective' with Alistair Jones. She holds a doctorate in anti-money laundering regulation.

Hera U. Smith is a Director for Financial Crime Compliance Practice at Moody’s. As an industry practice lead, she focuses on regulatory developments and market trends in sanctions, money laundering and other areas of financial crime, translating them into product capabilities and thought leadership. She has built and headed global sanctions programs for financial institutions in the US and Europe. Additionally, she was the Co-chair of the ACFCS Nordics Chapter and a facilitator of the US State Department’s Sanctions Capacity Building Workshops in countries all over the world.

Before joining Moody’s, Hera worked at Danske Bank, where she developed the sanctions program and managed external commitments to regulators globally. She also headed the Global Sanctions Program at Associated Foreign Exchange, a global payment company now known as Corpay, and before that, East West Bank. In her early career, she worked as a litigation lawyer, and is a licensed attorney in California and the Philippines. She is a Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) a Certified Global Sanctions Specialist (CGSS) and a Certified Sanctions Specialist (CSS). She also has an International Diploma in Governance, Risk & Compliance from the International Compliance Association (ICA) and helped draft the sanctions certifications exams for ACSS and ACAMS.

Spencer Chilvers (Head of Export Control Policy) joined Rolls-Royce plc in June 2010 with responsibility for export control and sanctions policy, relations with governments and the EU on export control issues. Currently Chair of the Executive Committee of the UK Export Group for Aerospace, Defence & Dual-Use, a member of the Aero Space and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) Export Control Committee and a member of the International Institute for Strategic Studies. Prior to that he worked for the UK Export Control Organisation (ECO) and was responsible for their interests in the export control regimes and relations with the EU and UN.
