Maria Cabanyes is a Senior Vice President and the Team Coordinator in the EMEA Financial Institutions Group for Spain and Portugal, in addition to which she is lead analyst for the larger financial institutions in Spain.
Ms Cabanyes joined Moody’s London-based banking team in December 1992, since when she has followed banks as lead analyst, as well as in Spain, in the Nordic region, Portugal and in Latin America. Ms Cabanyes has also served as Regional Credit Officer Moody’s Banking and Finance rating teams in EMEA for ensuring compliance with existing rating methodologies, supporting the development and implementation of analytical initiatives as well as facilitating global rating consistency.

Maria Vinuela is a Vice President – Senior Analyst in the Europe, Middle East and Africa banking team, based in Madrid. In this capacity, she is lead and back-up analyst for a range of Spanish, Portuguese and Polish banks.
Prior to joining Moody’s in 2009, María was a senior auditor in the financial institutions group of Ernst&Young, where she was responsible for the audit of a large variety of financial institutions.
María has a B.A. in Business Administration from the Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros (CUNEF) in Madrid.
| Olivier Chemla is a Vice President – Senior Analyst in Moody’s Sovereign Risk Group. Based in Frankfurt, he is the lead analyst for a portfolio of European sovereigns and multilateral institutions. Prior to joining Moody’s in 2018, Olivier served as Chief economist in the French business association for large companies (Afep) for six years. Olivier started his career in the French public administration, holding various positions in the French department for Labour, Health and Economics. He was appointed Special Adviser to the Minister for the Budget, Public accounts and the State reform in the summer of 2011. |
Pepa Mori is a Senior Vice President in the Financial Institutions Group. She joined Moody’s in 2008 as part of the Iberian team. Since then she has managed a wide portfolio of issuers, currently covering banks in Italy and Spain. She also has oversight responsibilities for Moody’s banks ratings in Central Eastern Europe.
Prior to joining Moody’s, Ms. Mori worked as a credit analyst in a variety of roles. These include credit research at BBVA, rating European sub-sovereigns and public sector companies at Standard & Poor’s; and financial analysis at BBVA’s asset management division. Ms. Mori holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and MSc in Finance from Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros (CUNEF), Madrid (Spain).
Alberto Postigo joined Moody’s Inverstors Service in 2002. He is currently based inMadrid with responsibilities as lead analyst for a number of Spanish banks. Beforejoining the Financial Institutions Group, Mr. Postigo worked in the structuredfinance group for six years, mostly in the analysis and rating of ABS transactions.
Before joining Moody’s, Mr. Postigo worked at Lucent Technologies as a seniorconsultant in the switching and networking group. Mr. Postigo holds a degree inTelecommunications Engineering by the Universidad de Valladolid as well as adegree in Economics and Business Administration by the Universidad Autónomade Madrid.
Ventura González is currently Head of the Corporate Financing Division, including Capital Markets instruments and Banking facilities. Focused on ESG financing, he has been responsible for managing the recently published Repsol Transition Financing Framework. He has been part of Repsol’s Finance team since 2007 and has worked in a variety of areas in the company with responsibilities such as being financial focal point for JVs and M&A projects, intercompany financing and financial planning and analysis. He holds a Master’s degree in Financial Markets from the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles in Madrid (IEB) and a degree in Business Administration from the University of Cantabria in Santander.
Financial Director - Kutxabank Group, secretary of the Steering Committee. He has developed his career in auditing and banking consultancy (Deloitte) and in the financial, solvency and risk areas of Kutxabank. He has coordinated regulatory stress exercises, strategic plans and integration processes. He is in charge of the Climate Technical Office, which works to cover regulatory and supervisory requirements in the area of Climate Risks. He is Financial Risk Manager (GARP) and Spanish Certified Accountant (ROAC).
Lucia Lopez is a Vice President – Senior Credit Officer in Moody’s Environmental, Social and Governance group. In her role, Lucia contributes on all aspects to systematically and transparently incorporate ESG considerations into its ratings. Lucia brings multi-disciplinary expertise in broader ESG issues through past positions as a corporate credit analyst and a banker.
Lucia frequently represents the firm as a speaker through conversations with investors, policymakers and other market participants around the world. Before moving to the ESG team, Lucia was a lead analyst in the EMEA Corporate Finance Group since 2018. Prior to Moody’s, Lucia worked for over 15 years at a number of banks including Deutsche Bank and Barclays as a senior credit officer specializing in leverage finance and natural resources.
Lucia holds a Masters in European Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
