Alka Anbarasu is an Associate Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group in Asia. Based in Singapore, she oversees the ratings team that is responsible for the credit ratings of banks and non-bank financial institutions in Japan, South and South East Asia. She is closely involved in the integration of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors into bank ratings as well as research and outreach on ESG.
Alka is a regular speaker at Moody’s market briefings, external conferences, podcasts and media engagements. She is very active in promoting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives via her role as the co-chair of the APAC Women’s Business Resource Group. She is also a passionate impact leader for Moody’s CSR initiatives in Asia.
Alka joined Moody’s in 2013 after several years in the investment banking division of J.P. Morgan in London and Mumbai and ING Vysya Bank in India. She has close to 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Alka completed her undergraduate degree from University of Mumbai and holds an MBA from the Xavier Institute of Management in India.
CJ Wong is an Analyst with Moody’s Financial Institutions Group.
Based in Singapore, CJ covers a portfolio of banks and non-bank financial institutions in Bangladesh, Malaysia and Vietnam
Prior to joining Moody’s, CJ worked as a research analyst in the Dividend Forecasting team at IHS Markit, where he was responsible for providing estimates on financial institutions and corporates in Australia and Singapore.
CJ holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from the University of Sydney, majoring in Finance and Economics. He is a CFA Charterholder.
Dr Siew is the Group Chief Strategy Officer of RHB Banking Group. He is responsible for driving the Group’s strategic priorities, supporting strategy teams within each business unit in the development of business specific strategies to drive improvement in financial and strategic outcomes. He develops and refines value- based portfolio management of the Group, drives top-down change initiatives (FIT22 Strategy Execution) and spearheads the Group’s annual business planning.
Dr Siew has more than 20 years of experience in developing strategy and implementing large-scale transformation programmes, especially for financial services providers across Europe and Asia. He has also developed and implemented strategies for large global / regional banks and insurance firms, covering business growth, operational improvement, talent and technology strategies. Prior to this appointment, he was the Senior Director for Financial Services with Strategy& (formerly Booz & Company), which is part of the PwC network, serving financial services clients across South East Asia.
Dr Siew holds a PhD in Engineering and a Bachelor (1st Class Hons) in Engineering from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom. He also has an MBA from London Business School, United Kingdom.

Based in Singapore, he is responsible for the credit ratings of financial institutions in Indonesia and Malaysia. Prior to Moody’s, Tengfu worked at OCBC Bank, where he developed credit risk models.
Tengfu holds a MSc in Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University, and a BEng in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
