In this session we will discuss update to the Scenario Generator software suite and related calibration services.
We will provide an update on the scheduled Assumption Update later this year and provide details an insights into the modelling of alternative asset class and extensions to our service to support IFRS 17 requirements.

Christian is a Director in the Insurance division at Moody’s Analytics, based in London. He is responsible for Moody’s Analytics Scenario Generator advisory teams.
In his role, he works closely with clients globally, supporting them in the use of stochastic models across a range of applications in the Life Insurance, General Insurance, Pensions and Wealth Management sectors.
Christian is an Actuary and joined Moody’s in 2012 after working at a Pensions consultancy. He studied Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh and completed a Masters in Actuarial Finance at Imperial College London.
Jack is a Senior Director in the Insurance division at Moody’s Analytics, based in Edinburgh. He is responsible for Moody’s Analytics Scenario Generator product-line covering the Scenario Generator, Automation Module, Calibration Tools products and their related calibration services.
He joined Barrie & Hibbert in 2007 after completing a PhD in theoretical physics at the University of Glasgow. Jack has previously led the Implementation and Advisory services team for the Scenario Generator product line and has worked closely with clients globally, supporting them in the use of stochastic models across a range of applications in the Life Insurance, General Insurance, Pensions and Wealth Management sectors.
