Juliette Macresy is Senior Director, Head of Asia sales at Moody’s ESG Solutions. She worked at VE since 1997 based in Hong Kong. As the Head of Greater China and South East Asian markets, she covered the region for both investors and issuers on sustainable finance transactions and its derivatives. In September 2020 she became a member of the Executive Committee of VE and took the global responsibility of the issuer team expanding MESG footprint in the sustainable finance markets in key regions North America, LATAM, EMEA and APAC.
In 2021, Juliette has won the award for ‘Excellence in Sustainability’ at Women in Finance Asia Awards. The ceremony’s judging panel recognized Juliette as a driving force for the APAC region’s sustainability agenda, commending her work in bringing greater transparency to green, social and sustainability bond markets and advancing diversity in the financial services sector.
Holding a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from Dauphine University (France), Juliette has been working in financial markets in London and Paris for almost twenty years. She started her career in major French banks as a credit analyst before joining Moody’s Investors Services in London as a credit analyst. Then, she moved to fixed income positions within Natixis in Paris and Hong Kong.
Juliette is a CFA charter holder since 2003.
Brenda is an economist and Head of Research Insights for Asia Pacific. She leads a team of modellers and data scientists that design and implement quantitative risk management solutions for ESG and climate change, Asset Liability Management (ALM) and corporate credit risk. Brenda is also actively involved in providing research insights to support our customers, developing content for thought leadership in the region and promoting our solutions in globally.
Throughout her time at Moody's, she participated in initiatives that involved developing award winning risk models. In addition, Brenda led numerous consultancy projects with banks, fintech, regulators and investment firms worldwide, focusing on stress testing and model design.
Before joining Moody's Analytics in 2015, Brenda worked for SITA in Prague as a Treasury analyst responsible for the cash flow, currency risk management and bank relationship. In addition, she worked as a Senior Transfer Pricing consultant for EY in Mexico. Furthermore, she worked in the Mexican Ministry of Finance focusing on the liability management of the public debt in local and international markets.
Brenda holds a BA in Economics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, and MA degree in Economics and Finance with honors from Charles University in Prague. Currently she is pursuing a PhD in Accounting and Financial Management at University of Reading in the U.K.
Daniel Wang is Vice President of Product Strategy – APAC for Moody's Analytics, Based in Hong Kong.
In his role, Daniel is responsible for identifying strategic areas of focus for ESG products in APAC and working with global and regional stakeholders to execute development opportunities across data, methodology, analytics, and distribution. Daniel also works closely with other Product Strategists in MESG to ensure alignment and coherence in our product offerings in the APAC region.
Before his current role at Moody's, Daniel worked in the APAC Strategy & Business Management team of Moody's Investors Service (MIS), where he focused on developing and implementing growth initiatives for MIS APAC.
Before joining Moody's, Daniel worked as a generalist in the Asia Investment Banking team at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, with most exposure in industrials, energy & utility, and financial institutions. Before BAML, Daniel held various positions at Fitch Ratings and HSBC in locations including Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong.
Daniel has an MBA from INSEAD and an MSc degree in Strategic Marketing from Imperial College London.
As the practice lead for corporates at Moody's Analytics, Benny helps organizations drive significant business value by utilizing global third party data and analytics to augment internal insights for a true 360 view of their suppliers and customers.
Prior to this, he led the sales function of a credit origination and decisioning framework in APAC and North America.
Benny has been partnering with business leaders for the last 20 years, working together to achieve critical initiatives in risk and business transformation.
Simone Piscaglia is a Data Scientist at Moody’s Analytics - Prague Office since 2019. Simone contributes to projects on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) data analytics, carbon footprint and climate change indicators estimation, focusing on modelling and data analysis. He received a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from the University of Bologna. He previously worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher in Italy and Japan, before joining Moody’s Analytics in 2019.
