Moody’s credit analysis seeks to incorporate all issues that can materially impact credit quality, including ESG and climate risk; and aims to take the most forward-looking perspective that visibility into these risks and mitigants permits. In 2020, we published an updated ESG cross-sector methodology that introduced two types of ESG Scores - Issuer Profile Scores (IPS) and Credit Impact Scores (CIS) – that provide greater transparency about how we incorporate ESG considerations into our credit ratings.

| Iván Palacios is an Associate Managing Director within Moody’s Corporate Finance Group and he has responsibility for a team of analysts in Madrid and Milan covering the TMT, consumer goods, food and beverage sectors in the EMEA region. Iván joined Moody’s in 2002 and he has worked in Madrid and Singapore. Prior to joining Moody’s, Iván worked for Goldman Sachs in London. Iván has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros in Madrid. |
Carlos Winzer is a Senior Vice President at Moody’s Ratings where he heads up the European telecommunications team in the Corporate Finance Group. Mr. Winzer joined Moody´s New York in 1992. After spending two years at Moody’s office in NY and eight years in London, he relocated to the Madrid office in 2002. He joined Moody’s from Citibank NA, where he was Corporate Bank Risk Manager and Relationship Officer in Corporate Finance. Mr. Winzer holds a graduate degree in economics and business administration from CUNEF (Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros in Madrid). In addition, he holds a postgraduate degree in business administration from Guildhall University in London. Mr. Winzer is a professor at ICADE business school and IEB MBA program in Madrid.
Gunjan Dixit is Senior Vice President –Head of Strategy & Business Management for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region at Moody’s Ratings, based in London.
In this role, Gunjan works in close partnership with the EMEA leadership team to drive strategic initiatives, enhance operational effectiveness, and foster cross-functional collaboration. Her focus is on aligning regional priorities with Moody’s Ratings’ global objectives and supporting the continued evolution of the business across EMEA.
Before stepping into her current role in June 2025, Gunjan spent nearly two decades in Moody’s EMEA Corporate Finance Group (CFG), where she developed deep expertise in both high-yield and investment-grade credit. As a seasoned lead analyst, she covered a wide range of industry sectors, authored influential research, contributed to the development of rating methodologies, and played a pivotal role in advancing several strategic initiatives such as ESG integration and process innovation. She also served as an established Ratings Committee Chair, known for her analytical rigor, collaborative leadership, and ability to navigate complex challenges.
Prior to joining Moody’s, Gunjan was Manager of Corporate Credit Operations at the Export-Import Bank of India in Mumbai. She holds an MSc in International Finance and Investments from London, where she received the Outstanding Student Award. She is also a Gold Medalist in her MBA and a Chancellor’s Medal recipient in her B.Com, both completed in India.
Neil Begley is a Senior Vice President on Moody’s Tech-Media-Telecom team. Since joining Moody’s in 1994, he has been responsible for a credit ratings and research for a portfolio of large cap and other notable investment-grade and speculative-grade media, entertainment, telecom and sports issuers which presently includes such companies as AT&T, The Walt Disney Company, Comcast, Alphabet, Fox Corporation, Netflix, ActivisionBlizzard, ViacomCBS, Twitter, DISH Network, Lions Gate, sports leagues and teams, among others.
Before coming to Moody’s, Neil was with Bar¬clays Bank PLC’s merchant banking arm, Barclays de Zoete Wedd in New York. He began working at Barclays in 1989, concentrating on corporate finance for Barclay’s Communications group which included large media and tele¬com companies. He specialized in such industries as cable television, broadcasting, television networks, wireless and wireline
telecommunications, satellites and related others. Prior to working at Barclays, Neil was a senior accountant in KPMG’s auditing practice. He spent approximately four years in public accounting where he earned his CPA and specialized in industries such as financial institutions, manufacturing and middle market.
He graduated from St. John’s University College School of Business in 1985 with a BS in accounting. He lives on Long Island with his wife and has four children. He has served on professional advisory boards and has been active in causes supporting people with autism.
Neil Mack is a Vice President - Senior Analyst on Moody’s Telecommunications/MediaTeam covering a portfolio of investment grade and high yield telecommunicationscompanies. Prior to joining Moody’s in 2017 he held various positions in fixed incomeasset management, including at Citigroup Asset Management, Bear Stearns,AllianceBernstein and PartnerRe Asset Management.Neil is a CFA charterholder and a member of the New York Society of SecurityAnalysts. He received his MBA in Finance from Columbia University and BA in Englishfrom Fordham University.
Joining Moody’s Investors Service in 2011, Terry currently serves as a senior analyst in the Technology sector covering primarily semiconductor firms and a variety of business services firms.
Prior to joining Moody’s, Terry spent 14 years in credit analysis at HSH Nordbank, Credit Agricole, Bank of Tokyo, and Nordea, where he was the manager of the credit analysis group in New York. During that time, Terry had a wide range of analytic challenges ranging from work in corporate restructurings and bankruptcies (including the developing legal regimes in the BRICs), to transportation (aircraft pre-delivery deposit and take-out financing and leases, rail car securitization, and infrastructure projects), project and export financing, wireless telecom, technology, auto parts and diversified manufacturing. Before moving to credit analysis, Terry spent about four years doing valuations of non-traded securities (debt, equity and derivatives) for solvency, restructuring and litigation cases, while working for Ernst & Young and Houlihan Lokey.
Terry holds a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, and a MBA from Baruch. Terry completed the written and oral exams toward a PhD in business. In the program he focused on financial economics and did research on the application of term structure models in mortgage backed securities.
Terry is a CFA charterholder.
Raj Joshi is a Senior Vice President on the Corporate Finance Team. He is the lead analyst responsible for a portfolio of enterprise software, hardware and technology-enabled services companies. Raj has covered a portfolio of technology and business services companies since 2010. From 2005 to 2010, he was part of the Telecommunications and Media team. Before joining Moody’s in 2005, Raj was an International Banker at Union Bank of California (now part of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group).
Raj has an MBA from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Mumbai. Raj is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and the New York Society of Security Analysts, Inc.
