Ivy Poon is a Vice President – Senior Credit Officer with Moody’s in Hong Kong. She covers corporate ratings in a portfolio of power and gas utilities companies and conglomerates in Asia Pacific.
Prior to joining Moody’s, Ivy worked for KBC Bank N.V., as a credit assistant manager and a senior marketing officer.
Ivy holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Accounting from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is also an affiliate member of CPA.
Ada is the Head of North Asia Project & Infrastructure Finance (PIF) team, based in Hong Kong, managing the PIF team covering Mainland China and Hong Kong. She oversees the ratings of publicly and privately owned utilities, ports, rail transit, toll roads, Chinese local governments and local government financing vehicles (LGFV).
Ada has been with Moody's since 2014 and has extensive experience in infrastructure credit. She has served as the lead analyst for large scale central and local state-owned enterprises and is one of the original authors of Moody's Chinese LGFV methodology.
Before joining Moody's, Ada worked as a Vice President at Deutsche Bank, where she oversaw Greater China corporates and financial institutions. Ada has also worked at Barclays Capital, where she covered Chinese financial institutions and commodity companies.
Ada holds a BBA in Accounting & Finance from The University of Hong Kong. She is also a CFA Charterholder and a certified FRM holder.
Simon Poidevin is an Analyst with Moody’s APAC Public, Project & Infrastructure Finance team based in Sydney. His coverage includes regulated utilities and public private partnerships located in Australia and New Zealand.
Prior to joining the Sydney office, Simon was an Associate Analyst in Moody’s EMEA Corporate Finance Group based in Dubai, supporting coverage of corporate credits in the Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa regions spanning regulated utilities, oil and gas, petrochemicals and transport and infrastructure sectors.
Before joining Moody’s in January 2015, Simon was a corporate credit analyst with Societe Generale Middle East based in Dubai covering various sectors including investment holdings, transport and infrastructure.
Simon holds a Master’s Degree in Management from EM Lyon Business School in France.
Boris Kan is a Vice President–Senior Credit Officer with the Project & Infrastructure Finance Group. Based in Hong Kong, Boris covers a portfolio of Chinese utilities and infrastructure companies across a range of sectors.
Before joining Moody’s, Boris was the Head of Regional Utilities & Power Equipment (Asia-ex-Japan) with J.P. Morgan’s Equity Research team, where he spent more than 12 years covering a wide range of power and gas utilities companies in Greater China.
Boris has also worked as a Senior Associate for more than five years — first at PricewaterhouseCoppers and then at Deloitte & Touche Corporate Finance — providing assurance and M&A advisory services to corporate clients in Greater China.
Boris holds an MBA majoring in Finance from Simon Fraser University and is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Yukiko Asanuma is an Analyst with Moody’s Corporate Finance Group. Based in Tokyo, she covers a portfolio of Japanese corporates in various sectors, including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, utility, and business & consumer service. Before joining Moody’s, Yukiko worked for Tokyo Shoko Research as a Research Writer for the Dun & Bradstreet credit report. Yukiko holds a B.A. from Hosei University in Tokyo.
