Rahul Ghosh is Managing Director – Global Head of Sustainable Finance for Moody's Ratings.

Rahul leads global oversight for the credit rating agency’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) research and outreach strategy. In this capacity, he is responsible for co-ordinating high quality and impactful research exploring the credit implications of ESG, as well as digital and in-person outreach to meet the growing market needs of investors, issuers and other important stakeholders.

Rahul is a regular participant at high-profile industry working groups, market briefings, external conferences and media engagements. He is a member of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures, a market-led initiative to develop a risk management and disclosure framework for nature-related risks. He has also represented Moody’s on the UN Principles for Responsible Investment's advisory committee on credit ratings and the Green and Social Bond Principles working groups. He has presented on the impact of climate change on emerging market sovereigns at the G20 Green Finance Study Group and on sustainable finance trends at the International Finance Corporation’s Global Debt Mobilization Conference.

Before his current role, Rahul oversaw Moody’s ESG Solutions Group outreach and engagement activities globally with the sustainability stakeholder community. He also previously worked in Moody’s Credit Strategy & Research team where he was responsible for thematic research and outreach on global emerging market (EM) credit trends. Prior to joining Moody’s in 2013, Rahul was the Head of Asia at BMI Research (Fitch Solutions) in Singapore, leading a team of macroeconomists and industry specialists in analysing sovereign risk, sector performance and the capital markets.

Rahul is a passionate impact leader for Moody’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives in London, chairing the pillar on “activating an environmentally sustainable future”. He holds a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Edinburgh and a Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Society of the UK.

Young Kim is an AVP-analyst in Moody’s Sovereign and Sub-Sovereign Risk Group, based in Singapore. He is a lead analyst, covering sovereign portfolios and multilateral development banks in the Asia Pacific and CIS region, including the Philippines, Singapore, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, and other credits as well as institutions such as AIIB.

Previously, Young worked in Moody’s Financial Institutions Group, covering portfolios of nonbank financial institutions such as insurance, securities, and government-related entities in Korea and Hong Kong SAR. He also contributed to Moody’s ESG and sustainable finance team.

Before joining Moody’s, Young was a research officer at the International Monetary Fund in Washington D.C., focusing on country risk and public finance in the Fiscal Affairs Department.

Young holds a master’s degree in international relations and international economics from Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies.

Atsushi Goto is an associate lead analyst at Moody’s. Currently based in Tokyo, he provides Second Party Opinions on Green, Social and Sustainability bonds.

Prior to joining Moody’s, he worked on credit ratings of Japanese financial institutions, including banks, insurance companies and finance companies, at Moody’s Japan as an associate analyst.

He holds bachelor’s degree in International Liberal Studies from Waseda University.

Junying works as Associate analyst, Sustainable Finance at Moody’s Investors Service and is mainly responsible for providing external reviews on the frameworks of Green, Social, Sustainability, and Sustainability-linked instruments. Junying has worked on providing external reviews for issuers from APAC and Europe across various sectors, including real estate, finance, and agriculture.

Before joining Moody’s ESG Solutions, Junying worked as a sustainability consultant to help Singapore and Hong Kong-listed companies with sustainability strategy, reporting, carbon management, and climate-related risk assessment. She also worked as a senior research analyst at NUS Business School’s Centre for Governance and Sustainability, assessing listed companies’ ESG performance across the APAC region.

Junying holds a Master of Accountancy from Duquesne University, a Master of Chinese Studies from the National University of Singapore, and a Bachelor of Chinese Language and Literature from Zhejiang University.

Emily is Senior Vice President, Head of ESG Relationship Management of APAC at Moody’s Ratings in Hong Kong, enhancing Moody’s ESG franchise and client outreach initiatives in the region. Emily joined Moody’s in Mar2017, and her most recent role was with Regional Management, where she was responsible for formulating and implementing strategies to drive business growth in the region. Prior to that, she was part of the APAC Relationship Management team, and had a dedicated focus on our issuer and intermediary outreach efforts to regional and local government state owned enterprises (RLG SOE) sector including local government financing vehicles (LGFVs) in Greater China region.

Prior to Moody’s, Emily was an Associate Director at Fitch Ratings in Shanghai, focusing on business & relationship management with corporates and local government state-owned enterprises of 12 provinces. 

Emily began her career at HSBC as Management Trainee and had worked in Commercial Banking and Global Banking divisions for 6 years. Emily holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance from the University of New South Wales in Australia.
