Across over 35 years in Banking, Blake has gained deep insights into the inner working of this sector. Over the last two decades, Blake has been an Operating Committee member, leading teams and executing strategies in Credit and Enterprise Risk as well as Line of Business. His focus over this time has been primarily Commercial/Corporate with particular emphasis on Commercial Real Estate. Blake has spent most of his career with large and mid-sized banks.
Blake joined Moodys in 2021 after leading the transformation of the credit approval and reporting process at a $25 billion bank.
Robert Cox serves as a Senior Director of Strategy and Innovation focused on Moody’s CRE Portfolio Manager solution which delivers unique portfolio insights to asset managers, investors, and banks leveraging Moody’s CRE market data and analytics. Before joining Moody’s Analytics, Robert spent 7 years at Investor Management Services / RealPage focused on building Investment Management products helping clients raise capital, asset management, and investor management. Prior to moving into Prop-Tech, Robert had 20 years of Debt and Equity experience running portfolio management, asset management, and underwriting teams at large institutions including Bank of America and GMAC Commercial Mortgage.
Thomas P LaSalvia, Ph.D. is the Head of Commercial Real Estate Economics at Moody's Analytics. Thomas, a former professor, brings his pedagogical prowess to his extensive research into the marketplace, with a specific focus on the multifamily sector. His work is frequently published in a variety of periodicals, and he spends a vast amount of time presenting his findings to a variety of industry and academic professionals. Prior to joining Moody's Analytics, he served in a consulting role for the firm while teaching classes in foundational economics and urban economics at The College of William & Mary.
