Nick is Moody’s Analytics Chief Product Officer – responsible for defining and managing the company’s product and portfolio strategy. His remit includes Marketing, Innovation, Customer Experience and Commercial Strategy, ensuring that we have a modern and innovative approach to the way we work, and place the customer at the center of everything we do.
Nick joined MA as a former customer from ANZ Bank where he was the Group General Manager of Risk. His work history spans banking and finance, digital and internet technology, insurance and superannuation in senior managerial roles with experiences in Australia, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom.
Nick graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Economics & Commerce (Banking/Finance) and has also completed post graduate work at New York University (NYU Stern) in Strategy, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT Sloan) in Digital Transformation, and University of Technology Sydney in Architecture. Nick is well placed to help Moody’s in defining and delivering products that result in better, faster solutions for our customers in the most efficient and cost-effective way.
As the regional KYC and Data leader for Oceania and ASEAN, she is responsible for building robust partnerships with government agencies, advisory firms and global corporates to deliver innovative solutions to the market in the area of supplier risk assessment, compliance and TPRM.
Qing works across Financial Institutions, Insurance, Public Sector Agencies and helping them designing best practices and finding robust solutions for clients in the procurement space, including working on projects to support complex direct and indirect procurement programs and supplier risk assessment by leveraging cutting-edge data and technology.
Qing has been with Moody’s for over 9 years. Prior to joining Moody’s, Qing worked at globally leading consultancy firms, specialising in advising large multinational corporations in the area of financial investment and tax restructuring.
Choon Hong leads the Asia Pacific and Middle East Financial Crime Practice Group in Moody’s and is responsible for driving compliance-related initiatives in the region. He is active in the compliance community across both public and private sectors, including in the banking and corporate space, and understands the emerging trends in combating financial crimes through these interactions.
Choon Hong acts as a consultant to Fortune 500 clients on risk-based approaches to anti-money laundering (AML) and supply chain, and leads datamapping workshops to help compliance departments operationalize the use of Moody’s databases. He specializes in helping clients build a holistic compliance risk framework to navigate complex regulatory environments.
Choon Hong has over 15 years of experience in the enterprise software solution space, and has spent the last few years advising major financial institutions across Asia Pacific in AML, sanctions, fraud, supplier due diligence, and trade compliance.
Choon Hong is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and participates actively in leading financial crime conferences.
Katrina Ell is a Director-Economic Research in the Sydney office of Moody’s Analytics. Katrina manages the Asia-Pacific edition of Economy.com and is responsible for the research, analysis and forecasting of economies throughout the Asia-Pacific region, with a particular focus on Australia and New Zealand. Katrina is regularly quoted by international media such as CNBC, Bloomberg, the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times and Sky News. She previously worked as an analyst at the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority. Katrina received her bachelor’s degree in economics (honours) from Macquarie University and is currently completing her Masters in Applied Economics at Macquarie University.
Olga Loiseau-Aslanidi is a Managing Director in the Predictive Analytics team. She leads Integrated Risks research and coordinates the efforts of Regional Senior Leaders across the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Her role drives impactful research innovation in Moody's solutions, ensuring they are locally relevant while maintaining global strategic alignment. Based in Dubai, with previous stints in Singapore and Europe, Dr. Loiseau-Aslanidi has been with Moody's since 2010.
A trusted advisor to senior leaders worldwide, Olga specializes in building organizational resilience across various risk disciplines. Her expertise spans quantitative research in credit risk and macroeconomics, business development, and customer experience. She has a proven track record in building high-performing teams, developing frameworks, and implementing complex systems and analytics for clients located around the world.
Olga holds a double Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics and Econometrics from CERGE-EI New York and Charles University in the Czech Republic. She completed studies for M.Sc. in Mathematics and holds a B.Sc. with honors in Applied Mathematics.
Brenda is an economist and Head of Research Insights for Asia Pacific. She leads a team of modellers and data scientists that design and implement quantitative risk management solutions for ESG and climate change, Asset Liability Management (ALM) and corporate credit risk. Brenda is also actively involved in providing research insights to support our customers, developing content for thought leadership in the region and promoting our solutions in globally.
Throughout her time at Moody's, she participated in initiatives that involved developing award winning risk models. In addition, Brenda led numerous consultancy projects with banks, fintech, regulators and investment firms worldwide, focusing on stress testing and model design.
Before joining Moody's Analytics in 2015, Brenda worked for SITA in Prague as a Treasury analyst responsible for the cash flow, currency risk management and bank relationship. In addition, she worked as a Senior Transfer Pricing consultant for EY in Mexico. Furthermore, she worked in the Mexican Ministry of Finance focusing on the liability management of the public debt in local and international markets.
Brenda holds a BA in Economics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, and MA degree in Economics and Finance with honors from Charles University in Prague. Currently she is pursuing a PhD in Accounting and Financial Management at University of Reading in the U.K.
Jewel Myrtel Bautista is a Subject Matter Expert within the Moody’s Risk and Finance Analytics practice across Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Her key areas of focus are end to end Credit Risk Assessment and optimization, ESG and Climate Risk managementand sustainable lending practice. Jewel is well versed with the global as well as local regulatory regimes impacting lending considerations as well as ESG and climate factors relevant to lending.
Since joining Moody’s, she has been working closely alongside with some of the leading financial institutions in Asia Pacific to streamline credit assessment process. Her most recent areas of work includes provide guidance and thought leadership and development of approaches for integration of ESG and climate risk considerations as part of the banks’ lending processes.
Prior to Moody’s, Jewel has worked with multiple financial institutions in Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam where she managed and provided a comprehensive credit assessment solution. She has worked with one of the largest banks in the region where her primary mandate included providing an optimal solution that incorporates both regulatory policies and internal credit policies in the bank’s end-to-end credit lifecycle process and overall risk management.
