Carola Schuler is a Managing Director in the Europe, Middle East and Africa banking team, based in Frankfurt. In this capacity, she is responsible for Moody’s analytical teams that rate banks primarily in the UK, the Eurozone and Central and Eastern Europe as well as non-bank financial companies across Europe. Carola has extensive experience in credit analysis and managing credit professionals.
Furthermore, Carola plays a leading role in Moody’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) integration efforts. Moody’s is committed to incorporating ESG risks into its credit analysis and Carola is one of Moody’s global coordinators of ESG analytical, research and outreach initiatives for financial institutions.
Prior to joining Moody’s in 2008, Carola was a Director at the credit risk management division of Deutsche Bank where she worked in a number of different analytical and managerial functions in Germany and abroad, covering corporate finance, leveraged finance, financial institutions and sovereign risk across Europe, including time spent in Brussels (Belgium).
Carola has a double German-French Diploma in Business Administration from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft des Saarlandes (HTW), Saarbrücken /Germany and the University of Metz/ France.
Steffen Dyck is a Senior Vice President in Moody’s Sovereign Risk Group.
Based in Frankfurt, he is the lead analyst for a portfolio of European sovereigns and multilateral institutions.
Up until early 2018, Steffen was the lead analyst for number of sovereigns and multilaterals in the Middle East, including Egypt and most of the Gulf Cooperation Council members.
Before relocating to Frankfurt in June 2015, Steffen was based in Moody’s Singapore office, where he covered sovereigns in the Asia-Pacific region as well as in the Middle East.
Prior to joining Moody’s in 2012, Steffen worked for more than six years with Deutsche Bank’s Risk Analysis team in Frankfurt and Singapore, covering macroeconomic and sovereign risk analysis across Asia (ex-Japan), Latin America, and Sub-Saharan Africa. He also helped manage the bank’s sovereign rating processes.
Swen joined Moody’s Investors Service in August 2010 as a member of the of the Financial Institutions Group. He is the lead analyst for several German, Austrian and Swiss banks.
Prior to joining Moody’s Swen was a portfolio manager and buy- side analyst for global banks and financial institutions with Deka Investment, Frankfurt. He graduated in Business Administration from Goethe University of Frankfurt and is a CFA Charterholder.
Christian is a Vice President - Senior Analyst in the EMEA Insurance Team based in Frankfurt, Germany, and is the lead analyst for various primary insurers and reinsurers in the Benelux countries, Germany, Italy, the Nordics and Switzerland. Christian joined Moody’s in 2019. Prior to joining Moody’s, he was head of planning and performance management at Zurich Group Germany where he was in charge of planning, forecasting and reporting for the group’s German life insurance operations. Before that, he was a director and lead analyst at S&P Global, covering insurers in EMEA with a focus on companies operating in German-speaking countries. He started his career at Assekurata, where he specialized in assessing the investment management of rated insurers in Germany. Christian holds a degree in Business Administration from University of Cologne. |
Alexander Hendricks is an Associate Managing Director in Moody’s European Banking team. Alexander has responsibility for the analytical teams covering financial institutions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He joined Moody’s in 2013.
Prior to Moody’s, Alexander’s most recent role was Director in Company Research at Deutsche Bank, where he had responsibility for financial institutions in Germany and Austria, and co-responsibility for European investment banks. In addition, he acted as hub for European regulatory matters in research.
During his occupation at the German bank, Alexander also held responsibilities for real estate companies and stock exchanges in Germany. At previous employer ABN Amro, Alexander covered German and Austrian banks in equity research. He began his career as trainee at Deutsche Bank.
Alexander holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (Diplom- Kaufmann) from University of Mannheim, with specialisation in Banking and Finance. He is a CFA charterholder.
Ana Luz Silva Robles is a Vice President – Senior Analyst in Moody’s Corporate Finance Group. Based in Frankfurt, she is responsible for a portfolio of predominantly real estate issuers. Ana joined Moody’s in 2018 from Société Générale in Frankfurt, where she spent more than three years as a corporate credit analyst, covering large-cap and midcap names from the Real Estate, Chemicals and Healthcare industries. Prior to that, she spent nearly 2 years at Braskem Europe, as a credit risk manager of a wide customer base across diverse industries. Her career as credit analyst started in 2010 within the international corporate real estate arm of Commerzbank group in Mexico City and she was transferred to Germany in 2012 to oversee the Mexican commercial real estate portfolio. Ana has a Master’s degree in Finance from the Goethe University in Frankfurt and is a CFA Charter holder.
Swen joined Moody’s Investors Service in August 2010 as a member of the of the Financial Institutions Group. He is the lead analyst for several German, Austrian and Swiss banks.
Prior to joining Moody’s Swen was a portfolio manager and buy- side analyst for global banks and financial institutions with Deka Investment, Frankfurt. He graduated in Business Administration from Goethe University of Frankfurt and is a CFA Charterholder.
Irina is an Analyst in the EMEA Insurance Team, with lead responsibilities for a portfolio of insurance companies in several European countries. Irina joined Moody’s London office in 2018 and transitioned to Frankfurt in 2020.
Prior to her current role, Irina worked as an Associate Analyst providing analytical support for a range of insurance companies across the EMEA region. Irina also supported ratings for UK asset managers.
Irina graduated from the Vienna University of Economics with M.Sc. in Finance and Accounting and holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the same university.

Prior to joining Moody’s in 2014, he worked for Allianz SE as a Financial Analyst with firm-wide credit portfolio responsibilities. Prior to that, he was a Credit Risk Officer at EADS (now Airbus) and a Senior Risk Manager / Senior Analyst in Corporate and Structured Finance at LBBW in Germany and Luxembourg.
Bernhard is a CFA charter holder and has obtained the PRM designation. He holds a Master’s Degree in European Business Studies & Management from Otto-Friedrich University at Bamberg (Germany) and speaks German, English, Spanish and French.

Leroy Terrelonge is a Vice President – Senior Analyst in the Moody's Ratings Cyber Risk Group, where he is responsible for creating and executing a cyber-risk analytics and research agenda. He works collaboratively with stakeholders across Moody’s to build cyber datasets and publish timely and relevant research on cyber risk and its impact on financial performance.
Leroy has more than 20 years of risk experience working in government, international education, tech startups and corporates. Prior to joining Moody’s, Leroy led a team of analysts at Flashpoint, a threat intelligence company that researches cyber criminal communities, and previously worked as an analyst at the National Security Agency.
He has been cited in both domestic and international media on cyber risk issues and has presented at cybersecurity conferences around the world. Leroy graduated from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy with a Masters in International Business and holds an A.B. in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations cum laude from Harvard University. He also served as a Princeton-in-Asia fellow in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
