CloseMaria Cabanyes is a Senior Vice President and team coordinator in the EMEA Financial Institutions Group for Spain and Portugal, in addition, she is lead analyst for the larger financial institutions in Spain.
Ms Cabanyes joined Moody’s London-based banking team in December 1992, since when she has followed banks as lead analyst, as well as in Spain, in the Nordic region, Portugal and in Latin America. Ms Cabanyes has also served as Regional Credit Officer to Moody’s Banking and Finance rating teams in EMEA, ensuring compliance with existing rating methodologies, supporting the development and implementation of analytical initiatives as well as facilitating global rating consistency.
Prior to joining Moody’s in 1992, Ms Cabanyes was an equity analyst at Iberagentes (Spain). Ms Cabanyes has a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and MSc in Finance from Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros (CUNEF) Madrid.
Antonio Muñoz has been working in the banking sector for the last 30 years. He joined Bankinter in 2011 as Head of ALM and from 2019 he is the member of the Executive Team in charge of the Treasury and Capital Markets department.
Mr. Muñoz has a degree on Economics and Business Administration by CUNEF and he previously worked at BBVA and Banco Pastor.
Alberto Postigo joined Moody’s Ratings in 2002. He is currently based in Madrid with responsibilities as lead analyst for a number of Spanish banks. Before joining the Financial Institutions Group, Mr. Postigo worked in the structured finance group for six years, mostly in the analysis and rating of ABS transactions.
Before joining Moody’s, Mr. Postigo worked at Lucent Technologies as a senior consultant in the switching and networking group. Mr. Postigo holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering by the Universidad de Valladolid as well as a degree in Economics and Business Administration by the Universidad Autónomade Madrid.

Pepa Mori is a Senior Vice President in the Financial Institutions Group. She joined Moody’s in 2008. Since then she has managed a wide portfolio of European issuers, currently having oversight responsibilities for Moody’s banks ratings in Italy and Central Eastern Europe. She is also the lead analyst for Banco Santander.
Prior to joining Moody’s, Ms. Mori worked as a credit analyst in a variety of roles. These include credit research at BBVA, rating European sub-sovereigns and public sector companies at Standard & Poor’s; and financial analysis at BBVA’s asset management division. Ms. Mori holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and MSc in Finance from Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros (CUNEF), Madrid (Spain).
Olivier Chemla is a Vice President – Senior Credit Officer in Moody’s Credit Strategy and Standards Group. Based in Frankfurt, he works with the EMEA Chief Credit Officer on ensuring rating consistency across different asset classes. He was a lead analyst for a portfolio of European sovereigns and multilateral institutions between 2018 and 2025. Prior to joining Moody’s in 2018, Olivier served as Chief economist in the French business association for large companies (Afep) for six years. Olivier started his career in the French public administration, holding various positions in the ministries for Labour, Health and Economics. He was appointed Special Adviser to the Minister for the Budget, Public accounts and the State reform in the summer of 2011.
Maria Vinuela is a Vice President – Senior Analyst in the Europe, Middle East and Africa banking team, based in Madrid. In this capacity, she is lead and back-up analyst for a range of Spanish, Portuguese and Polish banks.
Prior to joining Moody’s in 2009, María was a senior auditor in the financial institutions group of Ernst&Young, where she was responsible for the audit of a large variety of financial institutions.
María has a B.A. in Business Administration from the Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros (CUNEF) in Madrid.
