Mr. West has served as President of Moody’s Ratings since November 2019. Mike served as Managing Director—Head of MIS Ratings and Research from June 2016 to October 2019. Previously, Mike served as Managing Director—Head of Global Structured Finance from February 2014 to May 2016 and Managing Director—Head of Global Corporate Finance from January 2010 to January 2014. Earlier in his career, Mike was also responsible for the research strategy for the ratings businesses and before that led Corporate Finance for the EMEA Region, European Corporates and the EMEA leveraged finance business. Prior to joining Moody’s in 1998, Mike worked at Bank of America and HSBC in various credit roles.
Ana Arsov is a Global Managing Director, co-heading of the banking rating franchise for Moody’s Investor Service which includes rating coverage for banks, securities firms, specialty finance and market infrastructure.
Ana joined Moody’s in 2013 with an extensive experience in analyzing financial institutions and managing credit professionals. Prior to joining Moody’s, Ana’s most recent role was at UBS, where she spent the last several years as Executive Director in Credit Risk, responsible for financial institutions including North American banks, broker dealers, exchanges and clearinghouses. Prior to UBS, she was Head of Global Portfolio Management-Credit Risk Management at Morgan Stanley, focusing on comprehensive coverage, identification and analysis of risks across the firm’s trading and lending businesses as well as leading key risk management initiatives for Morgan Stanley Bank N.A.
Ana began her career in Credit Risk Management at Lehman Brothers in various credit risk roles, ultimately heading up the North American Financial Institutions and Structured Finance team, and subsequently worked on Lehman’s bankruptcy resolution.
Ana holds a master’s degree in Management (with a specialization in Financial Services and Banking) from Boston University, and a bachelor’s degree in Business from Pace University, New York. Ana also holds certificate on board governance from Harvard Business School.
William H. “Bill” Rogers Jr. is chairman and chief executive officer of Truist Financial Corporation, a purpose-driven financial services organization committed to inspiring and building better lives and communities.
Rogers was named chairman on March 12, 2022, and chief executive officer on Sept. 12, 2021, after serving as president and chief operating officer of Truist between December 2019 and September 2021. Prior to that, he served as chairman and CEO of a predecessor companys since January 2012, after having been appointed CEO in June 2011. Rogers held increasingly senior positions in corporate and commercial banking, corporate finance, retail banking, private wealth management, and mortgage after joining the commercial banking division in 1980.
Rogers is a champion for the company’s philanthropy and volunteerism. He serves on the boards of a number of local and national organizations. He is currently a board member of the Charlotte Center City Partners, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and the Emory University Board of Trustees. Rogers also serves on the advisory board of Operation HOPE Inc. and is a member of the Charlotte Executive Leadership Council.
A native of North Carolina, Rogers earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from Georgia State University.

Jelena McWilliams is Managing Partner of the Washington, D.C. office and Head of the Financial Institutions
Group (FIG) Practice. She is a former Chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).
Ms. McWilliams focuses her practice on advising public and private companies, financial institutions, fintechs,
and early stage and venture companies on regulatory and corporate matters, as well as on mergers and
acquisitions, IPO and other capital markets transactions.
While at the FDIC, Ms. McWilliams managed over 6,000 employees supervising approximately 5,000 banks,
including through the COVID-19 pandemic. She participated in interagency negotiations, policy developments
and joint agency rulemakings both as agency principal and as a voting member of the Financial Stability
Oversight Council (FSOC). Ms. McWilliams chaired the Resolution Group at the Financial Stability Board (FSB);
chaired and served on the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC); and served on the
Financial and Banking Information Infrastructure Committee (FBIIC). She testified before U.S. Congress on
numerous occasions and engaged extensively with U.S. and international regulators, including the Basel
Committee on Banking Supervision and the International Association of Deposit Insurers. She established the
agency’s first office of innovation to implement technological advancements through supervisory channels and
collaborative partnerships between banks and fintechs. Ms. McWilliams also spearheaded the agency’s effort to
develop prudential banking policy on digital assets, including through a “crypto sprint” with the Office of the
Currency Comptroller (OCC) and the Federal Reserve Board (FRB), and in collaboration with the President’s
Working Group multiagency effort on stablecoins. She envisioned and created Mission Driven Bank Fund, a
novel private/public partnership investment fund to support investments in low- and moderate-income
communities served by the Minority Depository Institutions and Community Development Financial Institutions.
Prior to her tenure as FDIC Chairman, Ms. McWilliams served as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer
and Corporate Secretary for Fifth Third Bank (FITB) where she managed over 100 lawyers and legal staff,
oversaw legal and regulatory matters, and served on the Enterprise Committee and several internal committees,
including Management Compliance, Enterprise Risk, Risk and Compliance, Operational Risk, Enterprise
Marketing and Regulatory Change. In this capacity, Ms. McWilliams had extensive interactions with numerous
federal and state regulatory agencies, including the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, the FDIC, the
Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Before that, Ms. McWilliams served as Chief Counsel and Deputy Staff Director for the U.S. Senate Committee
on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs where she engaged in oversight of FRB, FDIC, Office of the Comptroller
of the Currency (OCC), CFPB, National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), SEC, Commodity Futures Trading
Commission (CFTC), Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), Federal Housing Administration (FHA), U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), FSOC and Office of Financial Research (OFR). She
interacted with law enforcement and regulatory agencies, including U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and
Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).
Previously, Ms. McWilliams served as Assistant Chief Counsel for the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business
and Entrepreneurship where she engaged in oversight of Small Business Administration (SBA) and its lending
programs, and served as a principal advisor handling matters related to financial services.
During the 2007–2010 financial crisis, Ms. McWilliams served as a consumer protection attorney at the Federal
Reserve Board of Governors where she worked on several rulemakings, including to amend consumer
protection regulations under the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair And
Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA), Gramm-Leach Bliley Act (GLBA), Credit Card Accountability
Responsibility and Disclosure (CARD) Act, as well as bank and third party practices related to section 5 of the
Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Act, which prohibits banks from engaging in unfair or deceptive acts or
practices (UDAP).
Ms. McWilliams is a frequent speaker on trends and topics in the financial services sector, including bank
regulatory policy, governance trends, digital assets, fintechs and early-stage company regulatory policy. She is a
member of the Economic Council of Washington, D.C., and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Southwestern
Graduate School of Banking Foundation at Southern Methodist University.
Ms. McWilliams was born in Belgrade, Serbia. She received her B.A. with highest honors from the University of
California, Berkeley in 1999 and her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law in 2002.
Jill Cetina is an Associate Managing Director for U.S. banks and government sponsored enterprises in North American FIG. Prior to joining Moody’s in 2022, Jill held a senior position at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, and has previously worked U.S Treasury, Federal Reserve Board, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and the Office of Financial Research.
Jill earned a BA from Grinnell College and a Master of Public Affairs from Princeton University. She is a CFA charterholder and has published journal articles on a range of banking topics, including stress testing, liquidity management, capital standards, and repo markets.
Robert Steven Kaplan served as the President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas from 2015 until 2021. In this role he managed the 1,300 employees of the Dallas Fed and represented the Eleventh Federal Reserve District on the Federal Open Market Committee in the formulation of U.S. monetary policy.
Kaplan was previously the Martin Marshall Professor of Management Practice and a Senior Associate Dean at Harvard Business School. Prior to joining Harvard, Kaplan was Vice Chairman of the Goldman Sachs Group with global responsibility for the firm's investment banking and investment management divisions.
He serves as Chairman of Project A.L.S. and Co-Chairman of the Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation. He is a board member of Harvard Medical School, St. Mark’s School of Texas and is a member of the Advisory Council of the George W. Bush Institute. Kaplan is an Advisory Board Member of the Baker Institute and a Member of the Board of Directors of the SMU Tate Lecture Series. He also serves on the Bipartisan Policy Center President’s Council and on the Board of Directors at The Holdsworth Center. Previously he served as Chairman of the Investment Advisory Committee at Google and a trustee of the Ford Foundation. He was appointed by the Governor of Kansas as a member of the Kansas Health Policy Authority Board.
Kaplan has authored three books, titled What You Really Need to Lead: The Power of Thinking and Acting Like an Owner; What You're Really Meant To Do: A Road Map for Reaching Your Unique Potential; and What to Ask the Person in the Mirror: Critical Questions for Becoming a More Effective Leader and Reaching Your Potential.

Joseph Pucella is an Associate Managing Director based in New York who oversees the North American team covering specialty finance companies. From 2007 to 2022, Joseph was a lead analyst for various US financial institutions, including regional and community banks, credit unions, Federal Home Loan Banks, commercial real estate lenders and business development companies. He joined Moody’s in 2004 as an accounting specialist. Prior to joining Moody’s, Joseph held positions at Credit Suisse, Deloitte, and Arthur Andersen. Joseph is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated cum laude from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
Keith Banhazl is a Managing Director and Head of Commercial Real Estate Finance for Americas within the Structured Finance Group and leads the team responsible for CMBS & CRE CLO new ratings and surveillance at Moody’s Investors Service. The team is responsible for reviewing Conduit/Fusion, Large Loan/Single Borrower, Agency CMBS, Credit Tenant Lease, Small Balance Commercial, CRE CLO, CRE CDO and other structured products at Moody’s Investors Service. He is also Moody’s Global Structured Finance Outreach Coordinator. He has been involved in various research initiatives and outreach activities related to the CRE securitization space, publishing and speaking on Moody’s behalf. Prior to being appointed to his current position, Mr. Banhazl was a Managing Director within the Structured Finance Group leading the US CMBS and CRE CLO/CDO Surveillance team and the review of primary US CRE CLO/CDO transactions, including the credit assessment team for commercial real estate assets within CRE CDO’s and CLO’s as well as Structured Credit transactions. Previously at Moody’s, he rated various fixed and floating-rate Conduit/Fusion and Large Loan CMBS transactions. Cary has 30+ years of experience in different facets of commercial real estate ranging from structured finance to design and development. As a Managing Director of Capital Markets, Trading & Syndication at Starwood Capital his responsibilities include pricing, structuring and capital commitment for the various commercial real estate and infrastructure loan funds and REITs managed by Starwood Capital. He is also responsibility for the financing and sales efforts of whole loans via private mortgage sales, and securitization via CLO and single borrower CMBS, as well as managing the warehouse lines for the commercial real estate loans; infrastructure loans; securities and non-qualified residential mortgages. As part of his capital market responsibilities, Cary manages the corporate level debt for Starwood Property Trust and Starwood Credit Real Estate Income Trust, which includes the issuance of converts, term loan A, term loan B, unsecured bonds, corporate revolvers and wet funding facilities. In addition to his capital markets responsibilities, he is on the credit committee of Starwood Property Trust (STWD), Starwood Real Estate Debt Strategies (SREDS) and Starwood Credit Real Estate Income Trust (SCREDIT).
Prior to joining Starwood Cary was a Partner at Coastal Capital from 2009 to 2010 where he managed the process of acquiring performing, sub-performing and non-performing CRE debt. From 2004 to 2008 Cary was an Executive Vice President with Countryside CRE Finance and was responsible for the pricing, structuring and sale of all fixed and floating rate high yield commercial real estate debt.
Prior to joining Countrywide Cary was a Partner at Coastal Capital Partners; a Managing Director for Precept Corporation, Vice President of Structured Finance at Nomura Asset Capital; Senior Consultant at Deloitte and Touche; Project Designer for The SWA Group and Sasaki Associates.
Cary earned an M.S. in Real Estate Development and Finance from Columbia University in 1993 and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Kansas State University in 1988.
Stephen is responsible a portfolio of US regional banks and non-bank finance companies, including CRE lenders and business development companies.
Prior to joining Moody’s, Stephen spent 10 years at S&P Global leading a team that covered non-bank finance companies and GSEs.
Clay Montgomery is a Vice President - Senior Credit Officer in the Financial Institutions Group of Moody’s Ratings, covering a portfolio of banks, exchange operators, and business development companies. Clay joined Moody’s in September 2021.
Prior to joining Moody’s, Clay was an Associate Director at S&P Global Ratings for 10 years covering a variety of bank and non-bank financial institutions. Prior to S&P, Clay worked at UBS in equity research and equity capital markets. He holds an undergraduate degree with a major in finance from the University of South Carolina.
Mr. Cashman joined Golub Capital in 1996 and is Co-Head of the Firm’s Direct Lending business. He is responsible for overseeing origination, deal execution and capital markets. Mr. Cashman is a member of the Firm’s Investment and Watchlist committees and is a Director or Advisory Director of a number of the Firm’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining Golub Capital, Mr. Cashman worked in various finance positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb Co., reporting to the CFO and acting as Manager of Business Development for the venture capital arm of Bristol-Myers Squibb’s Consumer Medicines division. Prior to that, Mr. Cashman spent four years as a Senior Accountant with Arthur Andersen & Co., serving emerging growth companies. Mr. Cashman earned his BS degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia. He received an MBA from the Darden School of Business.
Mr. Schnabel is a Partner in the Ares Credit Group and serves as Co-Head for U.S. Direct Lending, serving on the U.S. Direct Lending Investment Committee. Additionally, he serves as Co-President of Ares Capital Corporation (Nasdaq: ARCC). He also serves on the Ares Sports, Media and Entertainment Investment Committee and acts as a co-lead for the strategy. Prior to joining Ares in 2001, Mr. Schnabel was in the Corporate Development Group at Walker Digital Corporation, a business and technology research and development firm, where he was responsible for corporate finance, merger and acquisition and strategic planning activities. Previously, Mr. Schnabel was in the Corporate Finance Group at Morgan Stanley, where he performed financial analyses for mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and equity/debt offerings. Mr. Schnabel holds a B.A., cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania in Economics.
Mr. Mathew is senior managing director and Head of Asset Management for Antares Capital and is a member of the Antares Capital Executive Committee. He also is president of Antares Capital Advisers and a member of the Antares Capital Advisers Investment Committee. Prior to joining Antares Capital, Mr. Mathew was a managing director at J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, where he led the Global Primary CLO Business. Previously, Mr. Mathew was a vice president of Structured Finance at Deutsche Bank. Mr. Mathew received an A.B. in Economics from Harvard University. He has 23 years of industry experience and joined Antares Capital in May 2016.
