Steven G. Cochrane, PhD, is Chief APAC Economist with Moody’s. He leads the Asia economic analysis and forecasting activities of the Moody’s research team, as well as the continual expansion of the company’s international, national and subnational forecast models. In addition, Steve directs consulting projects for clients to help them understand the effect of regional economic developments on their business under baseline forecasts and alternative scenarios. Steve’s expertise lies in providing clear insights into an area’s or region’s strengths, weaknesses and comparative advantages, relative to macro or global economic trends.
A highly-regarded speaker, Dr. Cochrane has provided economic insights at hundreds of engagements over the past 20 years and has been featured on CNBC, CNA, Bloomberg TV, Wall Street Radio, and the PBS News Hour. Through his research and presentations, Steve dissects how various components of the macro and regional economies shape patterns of growth. His extensive expertise on U.S. and global economic issues makes also him a popular speaker at client conferences and executive briefings.
Steve holds a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania and is a Penn Institute for Urban Research Scholar. He also holds a master's degree from the University of Colorado at Denver and a bachelor's degree from the University of California at Davis.
Kisso has over 20 years of track record and executive experience in helping businesses set strategic vision and execute go-to-market initiatives, increase and protect revenues, launch new businesses, improve processes and profitability, and manage risk.
After spending 15 years with Moody’s in different roles, business units and geographies, Kisso has developed extensive expertise in risk management in multiple domains such as Know Your Customer (KYC), credit, climate, macroeconomics and ESG.
Kisso spent the last few years in Singapore, first with Moody’s and now with Bitsight, advising and empowering businesses and government institutions across Asia to decode risk and unlock opportunities by adopting best-in-class data and technology to manage interconnected risks.

Olga Loiseau-Aslanidi is a Managing Director in the Predictive Analytics team. She leads Integrated Risks research and coordinates the efforts of Regional Senior Leaders across the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Her role drives impactful research innovation in Moody's solutions, ensuring they are locally relevant while maintaining global strategic alignment. Based in Dubai, with previous stints in Singapore and Europe, Dr. Loiseau-Aslanidi has been with Moody's since 2010.
A trusted advisor to senior leaders worldwide, Olga specializes in building organizational resilience across various risk disciplines. Her expertise spans quantitative research in credit risk and macroeconomics, business development, and customer experience. She has a proven track record in building high-performing teams, developing frameworks, and implementing complex systems and analytics for clients located around the world.
Olga holds a double Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics and Econometrics from CERGE-EI New York and Charles University in the Czech Republic. She completed studies for M.Sc. in Mathematics and holds a B.Sc. with honors in Applied Mathematics.
Murari is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for UOB Singapore and has over 20+ years’ experience in Information & Cyber Security, Outsourcing & Supplier Management, Business Continuity, Information Systems Auditing and IT Risk Management. Prior to joining UOB, he worked in various leadership roles in several multinational corporations across the banking, consumer and consultancy industries.
On top of his role at UOB, Murari has taken on international and regional industry leadership and advisory roles. He currently serves on the Advisory Panel for Cyber Youth Singapore (CYS) and is a member of the Association of Banks Singapore Standing Committee on Cyber Security (ABS SCCS). He previously served on the International Board of Directors for the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Centre (FS-ISAC) and the ISACA International Professional Standards Committee.
Dimitrios is leading Moody’s Generative AI initiatives across regions as head of Digital & Advanced Analytics. He is also the Head of the Industry Practice Group in Moody’s Analytics, leading the Asia & Middle East Subject Matter Expert teams helping institutions in the broad areas of Enterprise-wide Risk Management, Risk Analytics, Stress Testing and ESG & Climate risk. Over the last few years, his teams have been focusing increasingly more on guiding banks and financial institutions in their sustainability journey. Particular areas of focus include the quantification of climate risk impact on credit risk, regulatory climate stress testing exercises, and incorporation of ESG & Climate Risk into an institution’s risk management framework.
During his time in Moody’s and prior to his move to Asia, Dimitrios led the efforts on designing and successfully implementing IFRS 9 modelling and software solutions for more than 50 banks in Europe and Middle East. Prior to joining Moody’s in January 2016, Dimitrios worked as Senior Technical Specialist at the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) in London. During that time, he led the internal stress testing model development across the majority of risk types, with a particular focus on wholesale credit risk globally, retail credit risk in the UK and econometric models for key ALM risk metrics. Before joining the PRA, he was part of UBS Group-wide Stress Testing Team where he developed stress testing models for the held to maturity assets of the investment banking arm. Prior to his time at UBS he held various modelling positions at the former Financial Services Authority (FSA), Lloyd’s Banking Group and HBOS.
Dimitrios holds a PhD from the University of Edinburgh Business School and an MSc in Applied Economics and Finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business. He is a certified Professional Risk Manager (PRM) since 2006 and tutored at University of Edinburgh where he has conducted extensive research on credit risk modelling and the interaction between credit risk and the real economy.
Dave is the Data and AI lead with the Microsoft Technology Centre ASEAN, and his role is a subject matter expert on leveraging AI for digital transformation.
He has over 20 years of technology consulting experience with Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, and others.
Dave is one of the leading Microsoft subject matter experts for GenAI in Asia Pacific, has had extensive experience with the technology dating back to 2020, and is actively helping customers in the Asia region leverage OpenAI technology to accelerate their use cases. He has also written an upcoming industry paper in collaboration with Singapore Management University on GenAI.
Eric Ang is the Head of Analytics & Automation, Group Compliance at UOB. He joined UOB in 2017 to lead the Compliance Capability & Process Transformation program in Anti-Money Laundering (AML).
Eric drives Compliance innovations including proliferation of Advanced Analytics and process automation applications, harmonizing the overall compliance capability strategy, and stakeholder engagement to assist in developing the AI RegTech eco-system.
Prior to UOB, he served as a Director for Big Four Consulting firms where he held senior advisory roles, including Lead for ASEAN Financial Crime & Technology Advisory. With in-depth business/solution know-hows and strong technology credentials, he played an active role in developing AFC frameworks and solution architectures design to mitigate Financial Crime risks and strengthening operational controls.
As an AML practitioner, he possesses broad and deep Regulatory Compliance, Operations, Technology and Risk Management experience in Global and Regional Financial Institutions. He has over 20 years of experience in Financial Services and Technology industries.
Bob Blower is a visionary entrepreneur and the CEO Designate of Clarency.com, a dynamic fintech company.
He has unparalleled experience in the world of finance, with notable stints including his time at the British Bankers Association (BBA), where he led the development of global benchmarks utilized today including LIBOR/SIBOR/SONIA. Amongst leadership roles held at HSBC (Global Head of GTB Trade), Standard Bank (Head of Trade & Supply Chain Management) and the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (Head of Trade Channels), Bob has also consulted for numerous firms from the payments and trade liquidity space.

Choon Hong leads the Asia Pacific and Middle East Financial Crime Practice Group in Moody’s and is responsible for driving compliance-related initiatives in the region. He is active in the compliance community across both public and private sectors, including in the banking and corporate space, and understands the emerging trends in combating financial crimes through these interactions.
Choon Hong acts as a consultant to Fortune 500 clients on risk-based approaches to anti-money laundering (AML) and supply chain, and leads datamapping workshops to help compliance departments operationalize the use of Moody’s databases. He specializes in helping clients build a holistic compliance risk framework to navigate complex regulatory environments.
Choon Hong has over 15 years of experience in the enterprise software solution space, and has spent the last few years advising major financial institutions across Asia Pacific in AML, sanctions, fraud, supplier due diligence, and trade compliance.
Choon Hong is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and participates actively in leading financial crime conferences.
Jewel Myrtel Bautista is a Subject Matter Expert within the Moody’s Risk and Finance Analytics practice across Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Her key areas of focus are end to end Credit Risk Assessment and optimization, ESG and Climate Risk managementand sustainable lending practice. Jewel is well versed with the global as well as local regulatory regimes impacting lending considerations as well as ESG and climate factors relevant to lending.
Since joining Moody’s, she has been working closely alongside with some of the leading financial institutions in Asia Pacific to streamline credit assessment process. Her most recent areas of work includes provide guidance and thought leadership and development of approaches for integration of ESG and climate risk considerations as part of the banks’ lending processes.
Prior to Moody’s, Jewel has worked with multiple financial institutions in Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam where she managed and provided a comprehensive credit assessment solution. She has worked with one of the largest banks in the region where her primary mandate included providing an optimal solution that incorporates both regulatory policies and internal credit policies in the bank’s end-to-end credit lifecycle process and overall risk management.
Dr. Joanne Khew has more than 12 years of experience in ESG and Sustainability. She is currently a Director, ESG Specialist at Eastspring Investments Singapore. Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer, Joanne works across the equities, fixed income and private market investment teams to deepen ESG integration throughout the investment cycle. Her role spans the creation of proprietary ESG analysis tools, including Eastspring’s internal ESG rating tool which complements investment decision making; the design of ESG monitoring and engagement systems and ESG development.
Prior to joining Eastspring, she was Director, Sustainable Finance and Strategic Partnerships at Standard Chartered Bank where she contributed to growing the sustainable financing portfolio in Asia across sustainable debt, trade and derivative products. She was also involved in the establishment of market-making initiatives such as the Climate Impact X carbon credit marketplace. Joanne held the role of ESG Specialist at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank where she expanded its Sustainable Capital Markets Initiative, ensuring ESG and Climate integration across the investment cycle for capital market, loans and private equity products.
Joanne graduated with a PhD in Sustainability Science from the University of Tokyo’s Graduate Program in Sustainability Science.
Winnie is the Senior Vice President for Sustainability at Great Eastern. She leads a corporate team who is focused on helping the business grow responsibly. She works with the organisation to prioritise and navigate ESG risks and opportunities, while achieving its green and social impact goals.
Prior to this, Winnie has been the Head of Sustainability (ASEAN & South Asia) for Standard Chartered Bank since 2015. She was responsible for the Bank’s sustainability strategy planning and execution. With the Bank, she has earlier spent eight years in China managing its sustainability and community investment portfolio.
Winnie had joined Standard Chartered Bank in 2005. She worked on the Bank’s Group and Singapore Wholesale Banking communications, before relocating to Shanghai as the communications lead for the Bank’s Local Incorporation in China.
Before joining the Bank, Winnie was in the news and publishing industry with Singapore Press Holdings, The Edge Singapore and Dow Jones & Company.
Melissa Moi is the Head of Sustainable Business in the Corporate Sustainability Office at UOB. In her role, she supports the delivery of a sustainable business strategy across UOB’s footprint including the management and mitigation of ESG risk, development of sustainable business strategies and frameworks, supporting sustainable product innovation, and driving the bank’s leadership in sustainable finance.
Prior to joining UOB, Melissa spent a decade at Bank of America where she led the firm’s ESG efforts in Asia Pacific. Her role included client facing advisory on sustainability, driving a sustainable finance strategy in the region as well as the implementation of corporate ESG initiatives across risk, social investment and environmental footprint.
Melissa has also spent a decade in the NGO sector in the education and healthcare sectors in Canada and Asia in both program implementation and organizational leadership roles.
Melissa is a member of the Board of Directors of the Children’s Medical Foundation, a charity focused on improving healthcare for newborn babies in rural China. She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Systems Intervention from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Ottawa.
