Jacob Grotta General Manager-Banking Solutions Moody's Analytics

Jacob Grotta is the General Manager of the Banking Solutions business of Moody’s Analytics. His unit creates and delivers technology solutions that help lending institutions with essential decisions in credit origination, risk management, financial planning, and stakeholder reporting. Jacob has held a number of roles at Moody’s Analytics leading analytic, consulting, data, and software businesses. He joined Moody’s through the acquisition of Wall Street Analytics in 2006 where he served as Chief Operating Officer. Jacob is based in the San Francisco area and holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Marisa DiNatale Senior Director - Economic Research Moody's Analytics

Marisa DiNatale is a Senior Director and Head of Global Forecasting at Moody’s. Marisa oversees all forecasting and publication operations in the Economics group within Predictive Analytics at Moody’s. Her areas of specialization and research are U.S. labor markets, household balance sheets and credit, and international economics. She is a cohost of the Moody’s weekly podcast “Inside Economics”. Marisa started her career as a labor economist at the Bureau of Labor Statistics in Washington, DC. She holds a master’s degree in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Boston University.

Scott Dietz Director, Industry Practice Lead Moody's

Scott is a Director in the Regulatory and Accounting Solutions team responsible for providing accounting expertise across solutions, products, and services offered by Moody’s Analytics in the US. He has over 15 years of experience leading auditing, consulting, and accounting policy initiatives for financial institutions.

Scott is a licensed CPA in Massachusetts and a member of the AICPA, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Lehigh University.

Alex Cannon Director - Senior Strategist Moody's

Alex Cannon is a Director in the Banking Group, based in New York, focusing on developing research and analysis on market trends, customer behaviors, and competitive positioning to help drive product and business strategy aligned with the Moody's mission, and our customer's priorities. Before joining Moody's, Mr. Cannon led many key Corporate Finance roles in community banks, focusing primarily on risk modeling, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, allowance for credit loss quantification, and corporate development. 

Mr. Cannon is an active CPA in Georgia, has BBAs in Finance and Real Estate, as well as a Masters in Accounting from Georgia State University.
