Henry MacNevin, who is based in London, is currently an Associate Managing Director responsible for bank ratings in the Middle-East, South-Eastern Europe and Turkey, and is also responsible for Moody’s global Islamic Finance initiatives. Mr MacNevin joined Moody’s London-based banking team in October 1996, initially as lead analyst for bank in Italy, the United Kingdom, the Nordic region, Belgium, Luxembourg and Hungary, and has also worked as a backup analyst for other banking systems, principally in Europe. He was also previously responsible Associate Managing Director for Moody’s bank ratings in Italy and the CEE region and was the Country Manager for Moody’s in Italy for several years.
Mr. MacNevin’s previous banking experience includes seven years with the Barclaysgroup, where he held positions in strategic planning, corporate banking, and credit risk management.Mr. MacNevin earned a B.A. (Hons) in Business Studies from PortsmouthPolytechnic in the United Kingdom
Hj Mohd Suhaimi Abdul Hamid was appointed to the Board and as the Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Saadiq Berhad on 16 March 2019.
Hj Suhaimi has an educational background in Bachelor of Economics (Hons) in 1999 major in Economics and minor in Islamic Finance from Universiti Islam Antarabangsa (UIA). He has also completed the Certificate of Islamic Banking issued by the International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF) in 2015 and he attended the Global Banking Leaders Programme in London in 2019.
Hj Suhaimi has travelled extensively throughout his 20-odd years in the financial industry, working and living in countries such as Singapore, Indonesia and Kenya.
He has a total of 20 years’ experience in Islamic banking and corporate and has since garnered domestic and regional exposure throughout his career life in local and multinational financial institutions as well as the local regulator.
He is married with 5 children and his hobbies are playing golf, gardening and cooking.
Nitish Bhojnagarwala is a Senior Vice President/Manager with Moody’s Financial Institutions Group. Based in Dubai, Nitish covers a portfolio of large conventional as well as Islamic financial institutions in the Middle East, Africa and Turkey.
Nitish joined Moody’s in 2011, and has led sukuk roundtables and conducted workshops on Banking and Islamic finance at various conferences in the Middle East, Europe and Asia. Nitish has also authored several research pieces, with a focus on regional banking, credit issues and issuer-in-depths for conventional as well as Islamic banks.
Prior to joining Moody’s, Nitish spent five years at Tamweel in the Treasury function. He has also worked for KPMG in the UAE, where he covered financial institutions. Nitish holds an MBA from S P Jain Institute of Management & Research, with a major in Finance (Investment Banking).
Christian de Guzman is a Senior Vice President with Moody’s Sovereign and Sub-Sovereign Risk Group. Based in Singapore, he is responsible for the credit ratings of financial institutions in Indonesia and Malaysia. Prior to Moody’s, Tengfu worked at OCBC Bank, where he developed credit risk models.
Tengfu holds a MSc in Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University, and a BEng in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
Izazee is the Rating Portfolio Head for Financial Institutions. Izazee has more than 23 years of experience in the risk analysis of financial institutions, Islamic finance, ratings, debt securities and corporate banking. Prior to joining MARC, he was the General Manager of the Insurance, Risk Assessment and Monitoring division of Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia where he was responsible for the analysis and monitoring of member institutions’ risk levels as well as the premium and levy collection function. He has also held managerial roles at RHB Sakura Merchant Bankers Berhad (now known as RHB Investment Bank Berhad) and Rating Agency Malaysia Berhad. Izazee holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, United Kingdom as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Islamic Banking and Finance from the International Islamic University Malaysia.

Jeffrey Lee is Vice President and Regional Manager for Second Party Opinion (SPO) production for Asia Pacific with Moody’s Ratings. Based in Singapore, Jeffrey oversees a team of analysts in HK, Singapore and Tokyo, who are in charge of producing SPOs and publication of thought leadership research related to APAC sustainable finance market. Jeffrey is a regular speaker and panelist at external conferences and other industry events in APAC. He also represents Moody’s on various high-profile industry working groups. Before his current role at Moody’s Ratings, Jeffrey managed the team of SPO production analysts in APAC with Moody’s ESG Solutions.
Before his current capacity, Jeffrey worked in Moody’s Ratings’ Financial Institutions Group. He joined Moody’s in 2013 as an Associate Analyst covering Korean financial institutions and served several roles within the group since then. Most recently, he was a Assistant Vice President – Analyst and part of the team responsible for portfolio of banks and non-bank financial institutions in South and South East Asia.
