Dr. Gaurav Ganguly is Head of International Economics at Moody’s Analytics, where he heads economic research for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific. His research interests include international economics, geopolitics and climate change. Together with his research group, he focuses on the key risks facing the global economy and the ways in which these might manifest. His economic scenarios, forecasts and analysis are used by financial institutions, governments and companies to actively manage risks. He is a well-known public speaker and frequently comments on economic issues across and appears in the media. Based in London, he has taught at various Universities in the UK and held visiting academic positions, including a research fellowship at the Grantham Institute for Climate Change at Imperial College. Gaurav obtained his Master’s degree and a doctorate in Economics from the University of Oxford.

Lorenzo Ducci is a policy expert in the Prudential Regulation and Supervisory Policy (PRSP) Department at the European Banking Authority (EBA). Since joining the EBA, he has been contributing to the work and policy development in the space of credit risk, Pillar II and recovery plan. Prior to it, Lorenzo worked in the private sector as Head of Internal Methodologies Validation in an Italian banking group and in an international consultancy firm. He holds a master’s degree in quantitative finance and banking.

With over 20 years of global experience in wholesale banking, I have been a COO and a senior executive leader at Citi and HSBC, responsible for the development and execution of a cross-functional transformation and delivery strategy across all segments and products in the wholesale credit and lending (C&L) space. I have a strong track record of delivering innovative solutions, enhancing client experience, and managing risk and regulatory compliance in a complex and dynamic environment.

Alexis is a Director in the Moody’s Portfolio Product Management team. 

With a technical post degree in economics from the University of Panthéon-Assas in Paris, Alexis has 15+ years’ experience in risk management and valuation, having been working in sales, pre-sales, product, project management & strategy roles across various environments (banks, consultancy and software houses).

Prior to his current role at Moody’s, Alexis was leading sales and pre-sales for the French speaking region at Numerix, addressing derivatives pricing, market & counterparty risks as well as Insurance ALM risks solutions spanning both sell and buy side segments. In addition to this responsibility, Alexis also oversaw regulation topics (Basel III, FRTB, EMIR, Solvency 2), working closely with Quantitative Research and Product Management teams in order to foster both development and new generation of the Numerix Solutions. Previously and in particular, Alexis spent 7 years as a Portfolio Management & Valuation Sales Specialist at Moody’s, focusing on the Portfolio IP content across the EMEA Region. Alexis also worked at various consultancy and software companies, implementing and designing risk solutions for several major financial institutions.

Before joining Moody's in September 2022, Emmanuel was in charge of business development in the financial industry for France and Southern Europe for Amazon Web Services (inventors of the cloud). Emmanuel has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. He began his career as a derivatives trader. He moved on to software and  designed trading and risk management platforms for specialized vendors.

Imad Abounasr is the Partner in charge of Cybersecurity and Digital risk activities for the financial services sector in France.

For over fifteen years, Imad has been assisting companies in France and abroad in understanding cybersecurity risks in a context of constantly evolving technology and increasing regulatory pressure.

Rob Charlton is AWS Financial Services’ Principal Technologist. Rob joined AWS in 2016. He acts as an advisor to our largest customers and has a focus on Operational Resilience. He’s equally happy advising the C-suite on what cloud is, how it works and how to get the most from it; as well as working with Chief Risk Officers on how to approach Operational Resilience in the cloud. Rob has a broad background with 3 decades in the technology industry helping giants like Nokia as well as leading SMEs and building startups. Rob is based in the UK.

Brian is PTSB’s Chief Information Security Officer having joined the Bank in 2021. In this role, Brian leads the Cyber and Digital Resilience agenda at PTSB across its voice, in-person and digital channels. serving over 1.2 million customers and providing leading Retail and Business Banking services in the Irish Market. Brian has over 20 years’ experience in Cyber and Information Security in the financial services industry and has helped some of Europe’s biggest banks to defend against cyber-crime. He is a CISSP in good standing since 2003 and holds a Master’s degree in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London, and is a Certified Banking Director (Institute of Banking, Ireland).

Francis is a Director and Industry Practice Lead in Financial Crime Compliance at Moody’s. 

His tenure as head of Compliance at Sumitomo Mitsui (SMBC), saw him orchestrate the effective establishment of the Risk and Control framework for an EU entity in compliance with French and Germany passported regulatory requirements. 

With 8 years at HSBC, Francis spearheaded regulatory investigations, integrated Compliance risk management globally, and drove compliance controls governance transformation initiatives.  

 A certified PRINCE2 practitioner, Francis also holds diplomas in financial crime prevention and governance, risk, and compliance from the International Compliance Association. 

Thanh Ha Ngo is a Senior Director, Product Manager at Moody’s Analytics, in charge of the Final Basel III regulatory solutions (RiskAuthority and Banking Cloud).

She has more than 10 years of experience in the regulatory capital requirement domain and is an expert in several supervisory regulations including BCBS, EBA CRR2, MAS 637, PRA UK, HKMA, APRA.

Thanh Ha holds a masters engineering degree in Computer Science from Ensimag (INPG), Grenoble, France.

Jelena is a Product Manager for Moody's regulatory compliance products, focusing on cloud-based offering for Credit Risk.

She has over 10 years of experience in the regtech space. Prior to joining the company in 2016, she worked for a national regulatory authority, a regtech start-up and a consulting firm.

Jelena holds a BSc in Economics from the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade and a MSc in Quantitative Finance from the same university. She is based in London.

At Moody’s, Pedro manages RiskFoundation Platform Lifecycle product. Before that, at he worked at Oracle on the Identity and security group for large accounts.

Richard is Head of Product Management for Regulatory Capital application. He joined Moody’s in 2006 and led the Risk Foundation engineering team for multiple years.
He actively participated to the transformation of Fermat to Risk Foundation with a focus on the integration of all supported risks into a single comprehensive and configurable workflow able to streamline calculation, consolidation and reporting. In 2015, Richard took the lead of the implementation of a “next gen” solution limiting the support of external 3rd parties solution for end-users while integrating data volume and data interoperability challenges raised by the growing regulatory ecosystem. Since 2021, Richard is managing product and engineering for the regulatory capital solution. His domains of expertise are software architecture, cloud and compliance applied to regulatory business.
Richard is holding a PhD in Image processing and master engineering degree in computer science.   

Pablo Martinez is a Compliance Specialist at Amazon Web Services based in Paris, France. He spends his days working with financial services customers in Europe and across EMEA, helping them address questions around governance, risk and compliance. He has been actively participating at Privacy and Data Protection forums, co-chairing the IAPP Paris KnowledgeNet Chapter in 2018 and 2019.

David represents companies and executives in the context of French and international government or regulatory investigations, including money laundering, corruption, misappropriation of corporate assets and tax fraud. David is one of the first lawyers in France to have provided training in preparation for police custody in real conditions for managers. He also distinguished himself as a lawyer for victims in cases of terrorist attacks (Rue des Rosiers attack, Rue Copernic attack).

At the Panthéon Sorbonne University, he teaches Business Ethics and Compliance Master’s Degree, and is regularly invited to participate in conferences in France and abroad, for Universities, professional organisations (AFJE, CIAN) and international or national public bodies (OECD, ENM - French School for Judges).

Denitsa is a Product Manager for Moody’s RiskAuthority Liquidity Risk.

She has been in the company since 2013, and is based in Monbonnot, France. Prior to this position, she was a Quality Assurance Engineer for RiskAuthority and Fermat ALM.

Prior to joining Moody’s, she worked more than 7 years in the financial industry with different roles as a financial analyst, risk manager and portfolio manager.

She holds a Masters Degree in Finance and Banking from Sofia University, Bulgaria and is a CFA Charterholder since 2012.

Minh Quang is a product manager for regulatory report design with Moody's software suite, in compliance with European regulations and EBA technical standards.

He has worked at Moody’s Analytics since 2008 years and is based in Grenoble close to the report production team.

Minh Quang holds an Master degree in Finance and Control – Audit from IAE School of Management of Clermont-Ferrand.

Stéphane Le Blevec is currently the Head of Prudential Affairs at Rothschild & Co Group, with a wealth of expertise in operational risk and asset liability management. He has spent 15 years at the group in roles such as Rothschild & Cie Banque’s Head of Risk, as well as Head of Treasury and ALM. Stéphane also has considerable experience in risk management consultancy for advisory-leading firms, including Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, SAS Institute, OpRisk Advisory and Protiviti.

Nicolas Parillaud is Business Relationship Manager on the ALM and prudential domains since 3 years in Rothschild & Co.

Prior to joining Rothschild & Co, he worked more than 8 years in the financial industry with different roles as Business analyst , Project Manager, Project Owner

Juan Manuel is a product expert for Enterprise Risk Management solutions for insurance companies in Moody’s. He joined Moody’s in 2004 and started working on ALM, IAS and VaR in the Product Management team. In 2008, he started working on Liquidity Risk issues with clients to comply with regulatory requirements. This prototype was the base of the Moody’s Analytics’ current Liquidity Risk product. In 2009, he joined the Solvency II team. In 2009 he took the position of Functional Product Manager in the Solvency II team and since then participated to the conception of the Moody’s offer to respond to the Solvency II regulatory requirement for Pillars I, II and III. In his role, he actively participated to the follow-up of the implementation projects of the solution to complete the offer and adapt it to better fulfill the needs in the market for the industrialization of the end-to-end regulatory cycle. Since 2013 he is part of the Product Expert team sharing his experience with the Moody’s solution for the regulatory compliance. Juan Manuel holds a master degree from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and the prestigious Grande École d’Ingénieurs Supélec in Paris. Prior to joining Moody’s, he worked for the Société General Asset Management (SGAM) in the Quantitative Research team.

With experience across corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainable finance, climate risk and ESG regulation, Pelletier is responsible for advancing Moody’s ESG & Climate solutions according to the individual needs of financial institutions – and supporting clients to integrate ESG and Climate risk monitoring across their value chain.

Prior to joining Moody’s in 2022, Pelletier oversaw the implementation of CSR policies at BNP Paribas’ Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) arm, having designed the bank’s Sustainable Finance program that promoted sustainability principles across every operational unit. Her pioneering team led the bank’s debut green bond issuance and sustainability-linked loan.

In addition to roles with Fortis Bank, Pelletier has also held roles in asset management where she worked on launching one of the world’s first index-linked green bonds supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy. Her career began at Société Générale within its Global Markets division.

Pelletier is a trained economist with a PhD from Dauphine University in Paris.
