closeMark Zandi is chief economist of Moody’s Analytics, where he directs economic research. Moody’s Analytics, a subsidiary of Moody’s Corp., is a leading provider of economic research, data and analytical tools. Dr. Zandi cofounded Economy.com, which Moody’s purchased in 2005.
Dr. Zandi is on the board of directors of MGIC, the nation’s largest private mortgage insurance company, is the lead director of PolicyMap, a data visualization and analytics company used by policymakers and commercial businesses, and is a director of the Coleridge Initiative, a nonprofit that facilitates the exchange of data across governments.
He is a trusted adviser to policymakers and an influential source of economic analysis for businesses, journalists and the public. Dr. Zandi frequently testifies before Congress and conducts regular briefings on the economy for corporate boards, trade associations and policymakers at all levels.
Dr. Zandi is the author of Paying the Price: Ending the Great Recession and Beginning a New American Century, which assesses the monetary and fiscal policy response to the Great Recession. His other book, Financial Shock: A 360º Look at the Subprime Mortgage Implosion, and How to Avoid the Next Financial Crisis, is described by The New York Times as the “clearest guide” to the financial crisis. Dr. Zandi is host of the Inside Economics podcast.
Dr. Zandi earned his BS from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his PhD at the University of Pennsylvania.
With over 25 years of experience in the technology sector, Mark is now responsible for the Financial Services business across EMEA at Google Cloud. Mark has benefited from commercial and managerial experience at 6 of the largest US technology companies that have in many ways shaped the world lives, works and plays today. His career has been built helping companies around the world to successfully adopt these technologies, building and leading teams with the same mission.
Masha leads a team of subject matter experts responsible for solution structuring for allowance calculation, stress testing, capital planning, credit risk management, and insurance risk management. Her primary focus is on banks, credit unions, and insurance companies.
Masha spent over 16 years in the financial industry in the U.S. in various roles, including audit, technical accounting policy, financial reporting. Earlier in her career, Ms.Muzyka led the solution consulting team at SS&C Primatics and focused on technical accounting policy at Freddie Mac and FHLB OF. Masha holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from the Moscow State University; is a CPA licensed in VA, and is a member of AICPA.
Dr. Evgueni Ivantsov has a risk management career stretching over 25 years. He is the Chairman of the European Risk Management Council. He has a monthly column in FT Banking Risk & Regulation, and his articles are regularly published in leading media outlets, including the Financial Times and The Banker magazine. Dr. Ivantsov is the author of the book "Heads or Tails: Financial Disaster, Risk Management, and Survival Strategy in the World of Extreme Risk."
Prior to joining the European Risk Management Council in 2017, Dr. Ivantsov held various executive positions at several global banks. His most recent role was Head of Portfolio Management & Strategy at Lloyds Banking Group based in London. Before this, he worked at HSBC as Head of Global Analytics and Head of Portfolio Risk for Europe. Evgueni was also a Member of the Advisory Group on Global Risks and a Member of the Cyber Working Group at the World Economic Forum.
Dr. Ivantsov has also been a visiting professor at Cass Business School (now Bayes Business School, City University, London), a visiting professor of International Economics at Boston University, and a visiting professor of Money, Banking, and Credit at the United Business Institutes in Brussels.
Ivan is the Chief Risk Officer (SMF4) and Assistant General Manager of Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank (SMTB) for the EMEA Division based in London. SMTB provides corporate banking services across different sectors such as project finance, shipping, airlines, real estate, corporates, commodity traders, etc. Market services like investment, trading, derivatives, and Global Asset Services such as custody, cash management. SMTB is one of the largest financial institutions in Japan and SuMi Trust one of the largest asset managers in Asia. Before joining SMTB, Ivan was a Senior Credit Executive in the Emerging Markets Credit Team at JP Morgan covering all products and markets in the EM EMEA Region. He has also worked in risk roles for Mortan Stanley and UBS. Ivan combines strong risk experience across commercial and investment banking.
Dr Mark Nasila is a luminary in artificial intelligence (AI) and data science and the Chief Data and Analytics Officer at First National Bank Risk. He also shares his expertise at the Singularity Group, specialising in AI, data science and data strategies. He is a leading member of the National Institute for Theoretical Physics and Computational Sciences (NITheCS), a research fellow at Stellenbosch University, and a Professor of Practice in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Johannesburg. He is also a leading member of the South African National AI Strategy Working Group Member
Dr Nasila’s innovative approach at FNB has revolutionized risk management and forensic due diligence through advanced AI systems, setting new benchmarks in banking technology. He is a renowned speaker, gracing stages at the likes of the Business-Tech Digital Banking Conference, Chief Data & Analytics Officer forums, and the SingularityU South Africa Summit, sharing his insights into the future of AI and big data. He is the Author of the recently published book – “African Artificial Intelligence”
Dr. Nasila is also a board member of Moody’s Analytics Europe and Africa advisory board, where he shares his insights with a broader audience and has established himself as an expert in his field. He’s also the recipient of an Honorary Member award from the Golden Key International Honour Society, which extends honorary membership to a few individuals who epitomize its values of integrity, collaboration, innovation, respect, diversity, engagement, and overall excellence in their chosen field.

Mr. Singhal has been with ICICI Bank for over 23 years.
He is well known corporate banker with varied experience in Corporate, Treasury, Wealth, Private and Retail banking in India. Prior to current role, he was Retail Business Head of West Zone-India where he was responsible for developing and executing business strategy covering 360 degree banking.
Mr. Singhal also has experience of heading the Wealth & Private Banking, Head of Forex & Bullion business and Treasury sales for Mid Markets, SME and Retail segments and head for corporate treasury sales for online channels.
Mr. Singhal is currently MD & CEO of ICICI Bank UK PLC, London. ICICI Bank has a large presence in the UK through seven branches and a branch in Germany duly complemented by digital channels of 24/7 call centre, mobile app and internet banking. ICICI Bank has over the last few years emerged as a bank of first choice for the Indian community in UK.
Mr. Singhal has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow.

With over 20 years of global experience in wholesale banking, I have been a COO and a senior executive leader at Citi and HSBC, responsible for the development and execution of a cross-functional transformation and delivery strategy across all segments and products in the wholesale credit and lending (C&L) space. I have a strong track record of delivering innovative solutions, enhancing client experience, and managing risk and regulatory compliance in a complex and dynamic environment.
Mauricio Masondo is the Head of ESG Credit Management in the Institutional Credit Management division (ICM) at Citi.
Mauricio joined Citibank in Argentina in May of 1993 and has worked in Brazil, London, New York, and Seoul, across Business, O&T, and Risk functions in GCG, MSS, and Commercial Banking.
Mauricio is a Senior Credit Officer L2, and has worked in Sao Paulo, London, New York, and Seoul, across different businesses and functions. He has led the build-out of the Portfolio Management function including Early Warning Indicators, and now leads ESG within ICM.
Ronald van den Berg, with a wealth of experience in the financial services sector he specializes in compliance and learning & development. He currently serves as the Lead of the global learning & development program for Risk at Rabobank Nederland, overseeing the Creditwise initiative (May 2023 – Present). In his previous role (2019 – May 2023), Ronald led the Riskwise program, focusing on non-financial risk and Behavioral Risk and Integrity. He co-developed and delivered a global learning program, the Riskwise Fundamentals course for 40,000 employees, along with thematic modules targeting specific areas of risk.
His career also includes a background as an interim manager and compliance officer, where he successfully led projects related to compliance, customer due diligence (CDD), and financial restructuring at Rabobank.
Ronald’s expertise in driving large-scale training and compliance positions him as a key contributor to discussions on L&D initiatives and organizational integrity.
Dimitrios is leading Moody’s Generative AI initiatives across regions as head of Digital & Advanced Analytics. He is also the Head of the Industry Practice Group in Moody’s Analytics, leading the Asia & Middle East Subject Matter Expert teams helping institutions in the broad areas of Enterprise-wide Risk Management, Risk Analytics, Stress Testing and ESG & Climate risk. Over the last few years, his teams have been focusing increasingly more on guiding banks and financial institutions in their sustainability journey. Particular areas of focus include the quantification of climate risk impact on credit risk, regulatory climate stress testing exercises, and incorporation of ESG & Climate Risk into an institution’s risk management framework.
During his time in Moody’s and prior to his move to Asia, Dimitrios led the efforts on designing and successfully implementing IFRS 9 modelling and software solutions for more than 50 banks in Europe and Middle East. Prior to joining Moody’s in January 2016, Dimitrios worked as Senior Technical Specialist at the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) in London. During that time, he led the internal stress testing model development across the majority of risk types, with a particular focus on wholesale credit risk globally, retail credit risk in the UK and econometric models for key ALM risk metrics. Before joining the PRA, he was part of UBS Group-wide Stress Testing Team where he developed stress testing models for the held to maturity assets of the investment banking arm. Prior to his time at UBS he held various modelling positions at the former Financial Services Authority (FSA), Lloyd’s Banking Group and HBOS.

He is a certified Professional Risk Manager (PRM) since 2006 and tutored at University of Edinburgh where he has conducted extensive research on credit risk modelling and the interaction between credit risk and the real economy.
