Julien is Senior Vice President in the EMEA Commercial Group, based in Zurich, and responsible to drive Moody’s commercial insurance strategy in the region. Julien has more than 17 years of experience in the financial industry, with extensive knowledge in Finance and (re)insurance business.Prior to joining Moody´s, Julien worked 10 years at Swiss Re in Zurich in differentroles, in Treasury Capital & Liquidity Management and Business Development. AsSenior Business Development Manager, Julien was in charge of originating structured reinsurance transactions, solutions and improving relationship with toptier clients and markets. Before joining Swiss Re, Julien worked for Mazars in Paris and Zurich to cover (re)insurance clients in audit and advisory services.Julien holds an Engineering degree from Ecole des Hautes Etudes d’Ingénieur (HEI),Lille, France and a Master in International Risk Management from HEC BusinessSchool in Paris
Andrea leads a team of London-based analysts within the corporate finance franchise covering a diverse portfolio of industries. Andrea started his career at Banca Intesa in Italy where he worked as a private banker, as a corporate banker and he also worked as an analyst at Bloomberg Financial Markets in London. Andrea was also a banking supervisor with the UK Financial Services Authority (FSA) for eight years. Andrea joined Moody’s in London 2011 and prior to his current role, he managed the Business & Consumer Services Team in New York for several years.
Luigi Bucci is a AVP-Analyst in the EMEA Corporate Finance Group, based in London.
Luigi joined Moody’s in 2014 and is part of the European Telecoms team. Prior to his current role, Luigi was the lead analyst for a number of software names in the leverage finance space.
Luigi holds a Management degree from the University of Bristol. Prior to joining Moody’s, Luigi covered a number of roles within the automotive sector.
Christina Maria Sterr is an Assistant Vice President (Analyst) with Moody’s SubSovereign Group, based in Frankfurt. She is the lead analyst for a number of European subsovereigns, including regional and local governments and government-related issuers, covering Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. As a member of the SubSovereign Group, she also lends her public finance expertise to a number of research and publication projects.
Before joining Moody’s Sub-Sovereign Group in April 2022, Christina Maria held various analytical and managerial positions in the financial sector. She has an extensive experience from Deutsche Bank, HSBC, and Intesa Sanpaolo within the capital markets teams and as a credit analyst for banks, corporates and government related issuers. Prior to that, she had spent several years with Moody´s Financial Institutions Group. She has also participated in capital and debt structuring in collaboration with the DCM and M&A teams. Christina has a consolidated ESG experience having worked closely with issuers for product/project selection, and KPI selection.
Christina graduated in Engineering at the University of Munich and holds a Masters Degree in International Economics and Management at SDA Bocconi.
Brandan is a Vice President – Senior Credit Officer in the EMEA Insurance Team, with analytical responsibility for a range of (re)insurance ratings across the EMEA region.
Brandan joined Moody’s New York office in 2010, as an analyst responsible for a diverse portfolio of US insurance and reinsurance companies. Prior to joining Moody’s, he was Assured Guaranty Ltd., responsible for accounting policy and transaction advisory services. Brandan started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in South Africa, later transferring to the New York office where he was a manager in the Assurance practice, primarily responsible for the audits of life insurance companies. Brandan holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Pretoria and a MBA in finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and a Certified Public Accountant (NY).
