Igor Ovcacik is Country Manager for the Czech Republic and Vice President /Relationship Manager for selected Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) countries, located in Prague, the Czech Republic. He is responsible for business development, acquiring new customers and managing relationship in the region.
Igor has extensive banking experience, having worked in Czech and international banks for more than 25 years. His track record covers corporate relationship management, structured finance, syndications, acquisition finance, real estatefinance, public sector finance, renewable energy finance and export finance.
Igor holds an Ing of economics diploma from Prague School of Economics /University, Finance and Credit.
David Aldrich is Managing Director of the EMEA Commercial Group, with responsibility for all Moody’s customer relationships in EMEA, across both Developed and Emerging Markets, for Fundamental and Structured Finance.
David is also Managing Director for relationships with Global Sovereign and Multilateral Development Banks, and previously was Head of Emerging-EMEA for Regional Management. Prior to joining Moody’s in 2013, David managed various fixed income, derivatives and securities services businesses at UBS, Credit Suisse, JP Morgan and, latterly, BNY Mellon. At BNY Mellon, David was EMEA Business Executive for both Alternative Investment Services and Broker-Dealer Services, and was also Head of Securities Industry Banking, Europe within Global Client Management.
David studied Economics at the University of Kent and is on the MBA Advisory Board at Bayes Business School, City, University of London.
Jan Frait was born on 28 November 1965 in Slavičín. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics at VŠB-Technical University of Ostrava in 1988, where he also completed his postgraduate studies in 1995. The same year he received the Young Economist of the Year award from the Czech Economic Society for his paper Portfolio Model of the Balance of Payments (and its Application to the Czech Republic in 1992–1995). Since 1990, he has lectured at the Economic Faculty of VŠB-TU Ostrava, where he qualified as an Associate Professor in Economics in 1998 and was appointed Professor of Economics in 2002. In 2000 the President of the Czech Republic appointed him as a member of the CNB Bank Board. After his mandate expired in 2006, he stayed with the CNB, working first as an adviser to the Board and later as Deputy Executive Director of the Economic Research Department responsible for financial stability analysis. He became Executive Director of the independent Financial Stability Department in 2010 and of the multi-divisional Financial Stability Department in 2018. In these posts, he represented the CNB on the European Central Bank’s Banking Supervision Committee, among other responsibilities. From 1999 to 2007 he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Czech Economic Society (CSE) and from December 2001 to January 2004 he held the post of CSE President. He has long worked as editor of Finance a úvěr – The Czech Journal of Economics and Finance. He specialises mainly in macroeconomics, financial stability, monetary theory and the international financial system. He has an extensive publication record on these topics in Czech and international journals.
He became a member of the CNB Bank Board on 1 July 2022. Jan Frait has served as CNB Deputy Governor since 13 February 2023.
Colin Ellis is Moody’s first Global Credit Strategist, and a Managing Director in the Credit Strategy team.
In his current role, Colin provides thought leadership for the rating agency that deepens the understanding of ratings and debt capital markets through rigorous and quantitative research. He leads Moody’s teams working on default and ratings analytics and on global financial analysis, including bank projections and stress testing. Colin is also a member of Moody’s Macroeconomic Board, which sets the global forecasts that underpin Moody’s universe of ratings.
Colin joined Moody’s in February 2012, initially leading the work of the Macroeconomic Board and authoring the quarterly Global Macro Outlook. He subsequently worked in the Financial Institutions Group, developing quantitative forward-looking analyses. For 8 years he was the Chief Credit Officer for EMEA, leading analysis and coordination of credit and ratings across all rating franchises in the region. He has Lead Analyst responsibilities for a number of European sovereigns and supra-nationals, producing ratings and research related to their creditworthiness. Heiko joined Moody’s from Deutsche Bank AG, where he was Senior Economist - Vice President in the European Economics Team of Deutsche Bank Research for more than five years. He published research on economic and political topics, including global trade, labour markets, demographics and migration, and covered in particular the economies of Germany and Austria. Prior to that he had worked from 2009 to 2011 as an Economist for the German Council of Economic Experts in Wiesbaden, reporting to the Chair of the Council. Moreover, his professional background includes stints at the Deutsche Bundesbank (Visiting Researcher), Germany’s Monopolies Commission and the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW), both as a Visiting Fellow. Irena is an Analyst in Moody’s Sub-Sovereign Group and is based in the Prague office. She holds lead analytical responsibilities for ratings on a diverse portfolio of regional and local governments in Europe and Asia.
Before joining the Sub-Sovereign Group in 2021, Irena was a corporate analyst in the banking sector covering portfolio of large corporates. Irena holds a Master’s Degree from the Masaryk University Brno.

Michal Skorepa is an economist with a focus on the Czech economy and monetary and fiscal policy. Michal is currently a member of the analytical team of Česká spořitelna.
His newly published popularization book "Economic Fingerfood: Answers to 50 Important Questions in Economics and Finance" is rapidly gaining popularity. He serves on the Committee on Budget Forecasts which was established by the law to regularly assess the quality of Ministry of Finance's forecasts. In the past, he worked at the Czech National Bank, mainly as an advisor to the Bank Board. He has lectured at the IMF, OECD and other institutions. He frequently appears in the media, commenting on current economic developments.
He holds a PhD in economic theory from Charles University

Knut Slatten is a Vice President – Senior Credit Officer at Moody’s working in the Moody's EMEA Project and Infrastructure Finance team. He currently covers a portfolio of companies that essentially comprises unregulated European utilities names. In his capacity as lead analyst, Knut has written numerous research publications and has spoken at several conferences. Prior to joining the Infrastructure Finance team, Knut spent 13 years in corporate finance at Moody's has covered a wide range of different industries, including pharmaceuticals.
Moody’s has a leading global Infrastructure Finance franchise, rating some US$2 trillion of corporate and project finance securities, representing more than 90% of all public bonds issued globally in the sector. 180 analytical sector staff cover more than 1,700 infrastructure issuers globally. Moody’s EMEA team of 46 specialists is responsible for rating around 430 issuers. The rating agency covers more than39,000 issuers and transactions. He joined Moody’s in 2007. Prior to joining Moody’s, Knut worked as a credit analyst for Société Générale in Paris, covering oil and gas companies. Knut holds an MSc. (Econ.) degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and business Administration.
Sebastien is part of the EMEA Corporate Finance Group based in Poland. His current portfolio focuses on oil and chemical companies. Until 2022, Sebastien was based in London covering European telecommunications and media issuers and prior to that was responsible for a portfolio of mainly European high yield issuers operating in industries including payment solutions, business and consumer services, equipment and transportation rental services, and retail.
Prior to re-joining Moody’s in 2011, Sebastien was an analyst within the credit team at LGT Capital Partners (fund of hedge funds based in Switzerland), where he monitored a portfolio of investments in distressed credit/special situations hedge funds.
Kamila Makhmudová has been the CFO and member of the board of directors of Raiffeisenbank since December 2021.
Kamila Makhmudová has more than 20 years of experience in international banking and extensive expertise in mergers and acquisitions from organizations inside and outside Europe. Before coming to the Czech Republic, she worked in the position of director of corporate development and strategy management at Raiffeisen Bank International in Vienna, where she led the team taking care of the acquisition of Equa bank in the Czech Republic.
At Raiffeisenbank, he primarily deals with the financial activities of Raiffeisenbank, Raiffeisen Leasing and Raiffeisen stavební spořitelna. At the same time, it contributes to the bank's development, especially in the area of acquisitions.
She studied international law at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Tashkent, international tax law at Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien and received a Global Executive MBA from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management, USA and Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien.
In 2007, Kamila Makhmud's publication titled Conflicts of Qualification in Tax Treaty Law and Thin Capitalization Rules was published.
Her hobbies are traveling, horse riding, yoga and hiking. She describes herself as a lifelong learner because she always finds something interesting to learn both professionally and personally.
Pepa Mori is a Senior Vice President in the Financial Institutions Group. She joined Moody’s in 2008 as part of the Iberian team. Since then she has managed a wide portfolio of issuers, currently covering banks in Italy and Spain. She also has oversight responsibilities for Moody’s banks ratings in Central Eastern Europe.
Prior to joining Moody’s, Ms. Mori worked as a credit analyst in a variety of roles. These include credit research at BBVA, rating European sub-sovereigns and public sector companies at Standard & Poor’s; and financial analysis at BBVA’s asset management division. Ms. Mori holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and MSc in Finance from Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros (CUNEF), Madrid (Spain).
Katja Reise is a Vice President and lead analyst in the Europe, Middle East and Africa banking team, based in Frankfurt. In this capacity, she provides rating analysis for a range of financial institutions in several Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) countries.
Katja enjoys more than 20 years of work experience in the banking industry, with an emphasis on bank credit analysis and European debt capital markets. Prior to joining Moody’s, Katja was a Senior Credit Analyst with leading analytical responsibility for banks in CEE, Turkey and the Middle East at Capital Intelligence Ratings, a rating agency specialized on emerging markets. Her career further spans positions as credit analyst and debt capital market expert for financial institutions, European corporates and public sector authorities at UniCredit Bank AG and Rentenbank, a German development agency.
Katja is a German-certified banker and holds a degree in Business Administration from the Academy of Administration and Economy (Verwaltungs- undWirtschaftsakademie), Munich
Vladimir joined Česká spořitelna / Erste Group in 2011, specializing in Debt Capital Markets. During his tenure, he has been involved in a variety of bond issues for Czech and other CEE issuers, including private placements and liability management transactions. Before joining Erste Group, Vladimir was a Manager at PwC in London, where he focused on transaction advisory for infrastructure funds and project finance debt raising. Prior to PwC, he worked in the Management Consulting practice at Deloitte. Vladimir holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Economics in Prague.

Leroy Terrelonge is a Vice President – Senior Analyst in the Moody's Ratings Cyber Risk Group, where he is responsible for creating and executing a cyber-risk analytics and research agenda. He works collaboratively with stakeholders across Moody’s to build cyber datasets and publish timely and relevant research on cyber risk and its impact on financial performance.
Leroy has more than 20 years of risk experience working in government, international education, tech startups and corporates. Prior to joining Moody’s, Leroy led a team of analysts at Flashpoint, a threat intelligence company that researches cyber criminal communities, and previously worked as an analyst at the National Security Agency.
He has been cited in both domestic and international media on cyber risk issues and has presented at cybersecurity conferences around the world. Leroy graduated from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy with a Masters in International Business and holds an A.B. in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations cum laude from Harvard University. He also served as a Princeton-in-Asia fellow in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Heiko joined Moody’s from Deutsche Bank AG, where he was Senior Economist - Vice President in the European Economics Team of Deutsche Bank Research for more than five years. He published research on economic and political topics, including global trade, labour markets, demographics and migration, and covered in particular the economies of Germany and Austria. Prior to that he had worked from 2009 to 2011 as an Economist for the German Council of Economic Experts in Wiesbaden, reporting to the Chair of the Council. Moreover, his professional background includes stints at the Deutsche Bundesbank (Visiting Researcher), Germany’s Monopolies Commission and the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW), both as a Visiting Fellow. He holds a PhD, a Master’s level diploma and a BSc in Economics from the University of Muenster. |
Irena is an Analyst in Moody’s Sub-Sovereign Group and is based in the Prague office. She holds lead analytical responsibilities for ratings on a diverse portfolio of regional and local governments in Europe and Asia.
Before joining the Sub-Sovereign Group in 2021, Irena was a corporate analyst in the banking sector covering portfolio of large corporates. Irena holds a Master’s Degree from the Masaryk University Brno.
Knut Slatten is a Vice President – Senior Credit Officer at Moody’s working in the Moody's EMEA Project and Infrastructure Finance team. He currently covers a portfolio of companies that essentially comprises unregulated European utilities names. In his capacity as lead analyst, Knut has written numerous research publications and has spoken at several conferences. Prior to joining the Infrastructure Finance team, Knut spent 13 years in corporate finance at Moody's has covered a wide range of different industries, including pharmaceuticals.

Moody’s EMEA team of 46 specialists is responsible for rating around 430 issuers. The rating agency covers more than39,000 issuers and transactions. He joined Moody’s in 2007. Prior to joining Moody’s, Knut worked as a credit analyst for Société Générale in Paris, covering oil and gas companies. Knut holds an MSc. (Econ.) degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and business Administration.
Katja Reise is a Vice President and lead analyst in the Europe, Middle East and Africa banking team, based in Frankfurt. In this capacity, she provides rating analysis for a range of financial institutions in several Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) countries.
Katja enjoys more than 20 years of work experience in the banking industry, with an emphasis on bank credit analysis and European debt capital markets. Prior to joining Moody’s, Katja was a Senior Credit Analyst with leading analytical responsibility for banks in CEE, Turkey and the Middle East at Capital Intelligence Ratings, a rating agency specialized on emerging markets. Her career further spans positions as credit analyst and debt capital market expert for financial institutions, European corporates and public sector authorities at UniCredit Bank AG and Rentenbank, a German development agency.
Katja is a German-certified banker and holds a degree in Business Administration from the Academy of Administration and Economy (Verwaltungs- undWirtschaftsakademie), Munich
Pepa Mori is a Senior Vice President in the Financial Institutions Group. She joined Moody’s in 2008 as part of the Iberian team. Since then she has managed a wide portfolio of issuers, currently covering banks in Italy and Spain. She also has oversight responsibilities for Moody’s banks ratings in Central Eastern Europe.
Prior to joining Moody’s, Ms. Mori worked as a credit analyst in a variety of roles. These include credit research at BBVA, rating European sub-sovereigns and public sector companies at Standard & Poor’s; and financial analysis at BBVA’s asset management division. Ms. Mori holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and MSc in Finance from Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros (CUNEF), Madrid (Spain).
Sebastien is part of the EMEA Corporate Finance Group based in Poland. His current portfolio focuses on oil and chemical companies. Until 2022, Sebastien was based in London covering European telecommunications and media issuers and prior to that was responsible for a portfolio of mainly European high yield issuers operating in industries including payment solutions, business and consumer services, equipment and transportation rental services, and retail.
Prior to re-joining Moody’s in 2011, Sebastien was an analyst within the credit team at LGT Capital Partners (fund of hedge funds based in Switzerland), where he monitored a portfolio of investments in distressed credit/special situations hedge funds.
Leroy Terrelonge is a Vice President – Senior Analyst in the Moody's Ratings Cyber Risk Group, where he is responsible for creating and executing a cyber-risk analytics and research agenda. He works collaboratively with stakeholders across Moody’s to build cyber datasets and publish timely and relevant research on cyber risk and its impact on financial performance.
Leroy has more than 20 years of risk experience working in government, international education, tech startups and corporates. Prior to joining Moody’s, Leroy led a team of analysts at Flashpoint, a threat intelligence company that researches cyber criminal communities, and previously worked as an analyst at the National Security Agency.
He has been cited in both domestic and international media on cyber risk issues and has presented at cybersecurity conferences around the world. Leroy graduated from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy with a Masters in International Business and holds an A.B. in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations cum laude from Harvard University. He also served as a Princeton-in-Asia fellow in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
