Fabian’s academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics with a focus on Mathematical Finance, and a Master’s Degree in Mathematics Applied to Economic Sciences from Université Paris Dauphine. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Science and Executive Engineering from the Ecole des Mines de Paris, where he specialized in Quantitative Finance.
Amy has been co-Head of the Bank of England’s Fintech Hub since 2021, working to explore how FinTech developments might support the Bank’s mission to promote the good of the people of the UK by maintaining monetary and financial stability.
Amy has occupied a variety of roles across the Bank over the last decade, latterly working in the office of the Deputy Governor for Markets & Banking.
As the Global Head of Digital Assets of BNY Mellon’s Digital Assets Business, Caroline Butler leads all global commercial digital assets initiatives across the bank. With a focus on delivering value to clients, Caroline is responsible for overseeing the digital asset platform strategy, new product development and delivery, and go-to-market efforts for all digital asset products and services across the enterprise.
Based in New York City, Caroline serves on the board of directors for BNY Mellon’s European bank board, Access Fintech, and the International Securities Services Association (ISSA). Mathew McDermott is global head of Digital Assets at Goldman Sachs. Previously, he was global head of Cross Asset Financing. Mathew joined the firm as a vice president in 2005 in the European Special Situations Group in London and was named managing director in 2010. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he worked at Morgan Stanley.
Mathew is on the board of several of Goldman Sachs’ portfolio companies including Coin Metrics and HQLAx, as well as on the advisory board of Digital Asset Holdings. He is an observer on the boards of One River Digital and Elwood Technologies. Mathew also serves on the board of the International Securities Lending Association.
