Moody's Ratings has published an update to its special tax methodology that expands the instruments rated using US states and territories, cities and counties, and K–12 public school district methodologies to include special tax (non-property taxes) instruments and assigns these ratings in relation to the issuer rating.

In the webinar, we will discuss:

  • The scope of the new approach and with which methodology credits will be rated going forward
  • How special tax debt instrument ratings will be assigned in relation to the issuer rating
  • The ratings impact and process for resolving ratings on review
