Irem Yerdelen is the Managing Partner of ERM’s Sustainability & Climate Solutions in Northern Europe, which includes several strategic advisors, subject matter technical experts, consulting staff and other partners. Irem is advising global clients from all sectors to manage their transition to a low carbon economy; from strategy, reporting to operationalising sustainability - including all types of ESG, Climate, Biodiversity and Net Zero related matters.

Irem is also an elected Councillor for the City of London Corporation, representing the Lime Street Ward. Currently acting as the Policy Lead for Sustainable Finance, Board Director of the Green Finance Institute and Deputy-Chair of the Transition Finance Council.

Irem brings decades of international risk management and insurance industry experience, having worked at Marsh and WTW, specialising on (re)insurance and alternative risk solutions for global complex risks.

Sean Kidney, FRSA, is CEO of the Climate Bonds Initiative, an international NGO working to mobilize global capital for climate action. He oversees green bond development programs on six continents; green taxonomy development by governments ranging from the European Commission to Thailand & Colombia; and policy development for capital mobilization. Sean is also a Professor in Practice at SOAS University of London and an expert advisor to governments around the world. In 2024 Sean joined the GF60 International Expert Advisory Group for Shanghai Green Finance Hub Policy Research

Sonja leads the IIF’s work on sovereign debt policy and sustainable finance, focusing on research and advocacy for the Institute’s global membership across the financial services industry. Her research interests include global debt markets and risks to financial stability; sovereign debt stress and debt restructuring; the economic impact and financial market pricing of climate and environmental risks; and capital markets development in emerging markets. Her policy work on behalf of the IIF includes outreach and liaison efforts vis-à-vis the G20/G7, the Paris Club, the IMF/World Bank and other multilaterals, global regulators and standard setters, and the Central Banks and Supervisors Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS). She also serves on the boards of the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market (IC-VCM).

Sonja has spent over 20 years in banking and financial markets, including sell-side research in London and New York as well as stints as an emerging markets economist and bank credit analyst. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and has an MBA and BA from the University of California, Berkeley. Sonja’s work is widely cited in the financial press, and she is a regular speaker on global debt and sustainable finance policy issues at international conferences.

Kathy joined M&G PLC in November 2023 and leads M&G’s Group Sustainability Strategy, policy, commitments and governance, chairing the Executive Sustainability Committee and embedding sustainability across the business.

Kathy has a long track record in advancing sustainable practices across the financial services industry and holds a number of roles to enable her to drive change: Member of the Transition Finance Council Working Group, the UK Sustainable Investment Forum (UK SIF) Policy Committee and the Energy Security Advisory Group IBDE (International Business and Diplomatic Exchange).

Prior to M&G, Kathy held a number of senior roles: Head of Responsible Investment at Irish Life, Senior ESG Strategist at Aviva Investors as well as engaging collaboratively with policy makers through her work with Climate Policy Initiative, the European Sustainable Investment Forum (EUROSIF) and advancing industry initiatives by Chairing the CDP Ireland Network and the 30% Club Investor Initiative Ireland.

Kathy founded an ESG investment research and analytics firm, Global Green Investments, in 2013 which advised clients such as the World Bank, Carbon Tracker, the European Commission and the UK Government on sustainable investments and market development.

Paul Horrocks is Head of the Private Finance for Sustainable Development at the OECD Development Co-operation Directorate. Paul is leading work on policies aiming at encouraging greater private sector investment into developing countries, in particular mobilisation  approaches, such as blended finance, that governments can adopt in order to reach scale and development impact.

Paul has extensive senior experience in leadership positions having been a Senior Executive at the Australian Federal Treasury, working on the domestic infrastructure market as well as providing policy advice during Australia’s G20 presidency on international policy challenges.  Senior experience in the European Institutions in Brussels, having worked on such key initiatives such as the deepening of European capital markets in response to the 2008 financial crisis.

Paul has degrees from the University of Swansea and of Liverpool as well as an Executive MBA from Vlerick Business School in Belgium. He also provides executive teaching at the Oxford University and the Maastricht School of Management.

As Head of Sustainability at InfraRed Capital Partners, Ivo leads the firm’s sustainability strategy across its portfolios globally. He partners closely with the investment management teams to integrate sustainability risks and opportunities throughout the investment lifecycle – seeking to enhance value, resilience and relationships with key stakeholders. 

Before joining InfraRed in 2024, Ivo served as Associate Director of Sustainability & ESG at ICG, where he led the firm’s climate strategy and drove ESG integration across private equity, infrastructure, private debt and credit investments. 

Earlier in his career, Ivo advised asset managers and corporates on sustainability strategy and disclosures through senior consulting roles at Sancroft and DNV.

Ivo is a member of the PRI Infrastructure Advisory Council and has contributed to the development of climate frameworks and guidelines for private market investors through initiatives led by PRI, iCI and IIGCC.

Ivo holds an MBA (cum laude) from IE Business School and the Sustainable Investing Certificate from the CFA Institute.

Peter is in the Emerging Markets Fixed Income team at Ninety One and is co-portfolio manager of the Emerging Market Sustainable Blended Debt strategy. Peter drives the broader sustainability agenda in Emerging Market Debt.

Prior to joining the firm Peter worked for Watson Wyatt where he was responsible for bond and currency manager research. Prior to his time at Watson Wyatt, he spent six years as a senior portfolio manager responsible for global bond management at Robeco, where he helped develop the credit process and lead on numerous projects improving the process and tools of the department. 

He graduated in 1995 with a Master’s degree in Econometrics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Philipp Lotter is the Global Head of Ratings and Research, responsible for teams which assign and monitor ratings for over 33,000 organizations and structured deals. He also oversees issuer relations, research and investor engagement. Under Philipp’s leadership, his analysts monitor debt obligations totaling nearly $76 trillion.

In over two decades with the firm, Philipp has held numerous roles of increasing responsibility across multiple continents. These included Global Head of the Corporate Finance Group (CFG), Co-Head of CFG EMEA, Head of CFG South Asia, Singapore Country Manager and founding member of the Dubai Office where he covered an array of corporates, including Islamic finance. Philipp began his career at Moody’s as an analyst covering utilities, oil and gas in London, where he is based today.

Prior to joining Moody’s, Philipp worked in investment banking at Citigroup and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. He holds a Diploma from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and studied at the European Business School in London and University College Dublin.

Rahul Ghosh is Managing Director – Global Head of Sustainable Finance for Moody's Ratings.

Rahul leads global oversight for the credit rating agency’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) research and outreach strategy. In this capacity, he is responsible for co-ordinating high quality and impactful research exploring the credit implications of ESG, as well as digital and in-person outreach to meet the growing market needs of investors, issuers and other important stakeholders.

Rahul is a regular participant at high-profile industry working groups, market briefings, external conferences and media engagements. He is a member of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures, a market-led initiative to develop a risk management and disclosure framework for nature-related risks. He has also represented Moody’s on the UN Principles for Responsible Investment's advisory committee on credit ratings and the Green and Social Bond Principles working groups. He has presented on the impact of climate change on emerging market sovereigns at the G20 Green Finance Study Group and on sustainable finance trends at the International Finance Corporation’s Global Debt Mobilization Conference.

Before his current role, Rahul oversaw Moody’s ESG Solutions Group outreach and engagement activities globally with the sustainability stakeholder community. He also previously worked in Moody’s Credit Strategy & Research team where he was responsible for thematic research and outreach on global emerging market (EM) credit trends. Prior to joining Moody’s in 2013, Rahul was the Head of Asia at BMI Research (Fitch Solutions) in Singapore, leading a team of macroeconomists and industry specialists in analysing sovereign risk, sector performance and the capital markets.

Rahul is a passionate impact leader for Moody’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives in London, chairing the pillar on “activating an environmentally sustainable future”. He holds a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Edinburgh and a Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Society of the UK.

Marie Diron is global head of Moody’s Sovereign and Sub-Sovereign Risk Group, with responsibility for credit ratings on countries, regional and local governments, public sector entities and multilateral development banks. Marie is also Moody’s Investors Service lead coordinator on ESG monitoring and integration across asset classes. 

Marie has worked in various functions at Moody’s in the Sovereign Risk Group and (then) Credit Policy. In particular, she was lead sovereign analyst for a number of Asia Pacific credits including Australia, China, India and some frontier market sovereigns. She then managed the Asia Pacific sovereign team, before expanding her responsibilities to today’s global role. Previously, in Credit Policy, Marie co-ordinated Moody’s Global Macro Outlook and other credit research. 

Marie was previously Director at Oxford Economics, leading the company’s forecasting and scenario analysis service to financial sector and corporate clients, after a number of years at the European Central Bank and Brevan Howard LLP. Marie received a MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge and graduated from the Ecole Centrale Paris.

Sven Reinke is a Managing Director in Moody’s Corporate Finance Group. Sven is responsible for a team on London-based Lead Analysts covering Commodities, TMT and Business and Consumer Services sectors. Sven joined Moody’s in the autumn of 2013 with 12 years’ experience in a number of different corporate credit roles. During his first nine years at Moody’s, Sven was a Lead Analyst covering a number of different corporate sectors.

Prior to joining Moody’s, Sven spent six years as a Senior Corporate Credit Officer at UBS Investment Bank in London responsible for the credit risk management of a portfolio of corporates in different industries. Before joining UBS, Sven was the Lead Credit Analyst for Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi’s German and Benelux blue chip counterparties. At the start of his career, Sven spent four years as a Credit Analyst at Deutsche Bank’s German mid-cap credit risk department.

Sven has a Masters Degree in Economics with focus on finance and banking from The Berlin School of Economics and Law. Sven also passed all levels of the CFA Program.

Rebecca is a Vice President – Senior Credit Officer in Moody’s Sustainable Finance group, where she leads thought leadership on the impact of environmental, social and governance factors on credit and capital markets. In her role, Rebecca is responsible for the coordination and execution of the Sustainable Finance group’s thematic research program and market outreach activities. She also serves as a visible subject matter expert to internal and external stakeholders and supports outreach and engagement with strategic partners.

Prior to joining the ESG team, Rebecca was a member of the Strategy and Research team at MIS, where she led cross-sector research and analytics on the credit implications of key macroeconomic and policy developments in North America. Rebecca first joined Moody’s in 2011 as an associate analyst in the Sovereign Risk Group.

She holds a dual Master’s Degree in International Affairs from Columbia University (SIPA), in New York, and Institut d’Etudes Politiques (Sciences Po), in Paris, as well as a BA in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
