John Puchalla is an Associate Managing Director in the New York office of Moody’s Ratings. He is responsible for the Consumer Products & Gaming team within Moody's US Corporate Finance Group. Prior to his current assignment, John managed Moody’s High Yield Team. Previously, John was as a full-time Rating Committee Chair, managed the Credit Estimates team and led research on defaults and liquidity. John has covered a variety of corporate sectors at Moody’s including consumer products, media and entertainment, broadcasting and cable, publishers and amusement parks. John originally joined Moody’s in 1997 as a member of the Economics Analysis group evaluating trends in global corporate credit quality and credit markets until transferring to the Corporate Finance Group in 2002. Prior to joining Moody’s, John held various positions at Nasdaq and MNC Financial. John holds a M.B.A. in finance, economics and international business from New York University, a B.S. in finance from Penn State University, and is a CFA charter holder

Jeanine Arnold oversees the Moody's EMEA Leveraged Finance franchise and co-ordinates Leveraged Finance globally. She is part of the Corporate Finance Group (CFG) and Moody's Global Private Credit team with responsibility for EMEA corporates based in London.

Jeanine's primary responsibility is for ratings consistency and accuracy of leveraged finance issuer ratings across EMEA and in collaboration with other regions. She also has responsibility for leveraged finance research and thought leadership as well as investor, banking and private equity outreach. She heads up the Global Leveraged Finance Data and Analytics strategy, which underpins Moody’s research and outreach initiatives.

Prior to Jeanine's current role, she led the Paris-based CFG team, which was responsible for a wide range of credits across the healthcare, retail, transportation, IT, gaming and business and consumer services industries.

During her time at Moody’s Jeanine has been a lead analyst for European Airlines and Aerospace and Defense companies as well as investment holding companies, manufacturing and semiconductor companies.

Prior to joining Moody’s Jeanine was a Director at Fitch Ratings based in London, specializing in the rating of transportation names across Europe, the CIS and Middle East, including Rail, Airlines, Shipping and Ports. Prior to this, she worked in the credit risk management and investment banking teams of Bank of America Merrill Lynch as well as RBS, where she managed credit finance transactions for European Industrials within the Automotive, Chemical and Manufacturing sectors.

Jeanine qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2006 from Ernst and Young in London and has a Joint Honors degree in French and German from the University of Nottingham.

Julia Chursin is an Vice President - Senior Analyst in Moody’s Corporate Finance Group (CFG) that produces research on corporate defaults and recoveries and trends in high-yield/ leveraged finance space. She is also responsible for collecting, maintaining and analyzing data in Moody's Ultimate Recovery Database used to support Moody’s LGD Assessments (LGDAs), as well as other products/services at Moody’s Analytics.

Julia has both co-authored and published her own special comments/research on default-recovery trends across various sectors and involving various types of debt facilities. Notably, her own publications and other special comments she co–wrote with Moody’s senior analysts have been featured among Moody’s high-profile research in top-tier media outlets. Julia has directly contributed to greater visibility of Moody’s B3 Negative and Lower Ratings List among investors and the media by publishing quarterly special comments, monthly newsletters and creating comprehensive data visualizations.

Julia joined Moody’s CFG in January 2013 from Moody’s Public Finance Commercial group, where she handled various aspects of business and pricing relationships with rated issuers and their bankers/financial advisors.

Prior to joining Moody’s in September 2010, Julia worked as an investment associate at UBS Financial Services, where she supported a wealth management team in various aspects of the business involving execution of investment strategies and development of asset allocation models for portfolios of high- net-worth clients, in addition to researching and analyzing performance of various investment vehicles/products.

Julia received her MBA in Finance from Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College (CUNY).

Annalisa Di Chiara is a Senior Vice President in Moody’s Corporate Finance Group. Based in Hong Kong, Annalisa covers a portfolio of telecommunications, media and beverage companies throughout South and South East Asia. Annalisa is also a lead coordinator for Moody’s high-yield research and outreach initiatives for the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to joining Moody’s, Annalisa worked for UBS in credit related roles across debt capital markets and leveraged finance. She spent a significant portion of her career as a senior ratings advisor covering corporates across a variety of industries throughout the US, Asia and Europe. Annalisa has also worked for Credit Suisse and the Bank of New York as a Ratings Advisor and a Corporate Finance Banker. She has worked in Hong Kong for over 13 years.

Annalisa holds a double major from Brown University in Business Economics and English & American Literature.

Martina se unió al equipo corporativo a fines de 2013 y tiene a su cargo una cartera

diversificada que incluye empresas de varias industrias, como petróleo y gas,

químicos, construcción, fideicomisos de inversión inmobiliaria y bienes de consumo.

Antes de formar parte de Moody's, Martina trabajó cinco años como analista de renta

fija y renta variable en Arpenta Sociedad de Bolsa S.A. y se desempeñó durante tres

años como asesora en precios de transferencia en Price Waterhouse & Co, Argentina.

Martina obtuvo su Licenciatura en Economía de la Universidad de Buenos Aires y

cuenta con un título de Posgrado de Especialización en Mercado de Capitales

otorgado por el Mercado de Valores de Buenos Aires (MERVAL). Martina también ha

recibido certificaciones internacionales, como el Certificado Europeo de Analista

Financiero (CEFA) y el Certificado Internacional de Analistas de Inversiones (CIIA).

Además, obtuvo la Diplomatura en Gerenciamiento en Gas y Petróleo de la

Universidad Austral. Martina habla español e inglés.

Evan M. Friedman is a Senior Vice President – Head of Covenant Research in Moody’s Ratings Corporate Finance Group. Evan specializes in covenant analysis and research, with particular focus on leveraged loans and high yield bonds.

Prior to joining Moody’s in September 2013, Evan was of counsel in the banking and finance practice group at Otterbourg P.C. and was previously an associate in the banking and finance practice group at Bryan Cave LLP and Emmet, Marvin & Martin, LLP. His practice focused primarily on representing agents and lenders in asset-based lending and other commercial transactions.

Evan holds a BA summa cum laude from S.U.N.Y. Stony Brook and a JD from New York University School of Law.
