Ms Tan Su Shan is the CEO and Director of DBS Group. DBS is the largest bank in Southeast Asia.

 Su Shan was previously the Deputy CEO and Group Head of Institutional Banking, and before that, Group Head of Consumer Banking and Wealth Management for close to a decade. She was also the President Commissioner for PT Bank DBS Indonesia from 2014 to 2024.

Su Shan has over 35 years of experience in consumer banking, wealth management and institutional banking. Besides Singapore, she has experience in major financial centres such as Hong Kong, Tokyo and London. Before joining DBS, Su Shan had worked at Morgan Stanley, Citibank and ING Barings.

Su Shan sits on the advisory board of Dyson’s family office, Weybourne Holdings, as well as on the boards of the Singapore Economic Development Board and Climate Impact X Pte Ltd.

Khairul Rifaie is the Group Chief Financial & Strategy Officer of CIMB Group. Prior to his current role, Khairul held the position of Group Chief Financial Officer since 2019.

In this role, he leads and drive the Group’s Forward 30 strategic plan in a holistic manner; balancing between the need to grow while exploring strategic opportunities to fully harvest CIMB Group’s potential.

He also oversees all aspects of the Group’s financial performance which includes financial planning and budgeting, statutory and regulatory reporting, tax, capital management and finance operations.

In addition, he manages the Group Strategy division which includes the Group Strategy, Performance and Programme Management, Group Customer Experience, Transforming Customer Journeys, Group Corporate Finance and Investment Management as well as the Group CEO’s Office.

Khairul started his career with KPMG, London focusing on servicing Investment Banking clients. In 2006, he joined Goldman Sachs, London as an equity analyst covering the European Insurance Sector. He then joined UBS, Malaysia in 2009 to cover the Malaysian Banking Sector and later on also covered the Singapore Banking sector.

Prior to joining CIMB Group, Khairul was working at RHB Group, Malaysia as the Head of Finance of RHB Islamic and Head of Investor Relations.

He holds a First Class Honours degree in Accounting and Finance from University of Warwick and an MSc in Finance from Imperial College. Khairul is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), Chartered Banker Institute (MCBI) and Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Vera was appointed Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer at PT Bank Central Asia Tbk since 2018. She is responsible for Corporate Strategy and Planning, Research and Economy, Accounting and Tax, Investor Relations, ESG, GCG, and Corporate Secretary.

Prior to joining BCA, Vera worked for PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk and was appointed Director and Chief Financial Officer from 2006 to 2017. She also held several Commissioner positions including Commissioner of PT Adira Dinamika Multi Finance and Deputy President Commissioner of PT Asuransi Adira Dinamika.

Vera received an undergraduate degree from Universitas Tarumanagara and graduate of Executive Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Vera is also a member of Indonesia Banking Association and Indonesia Watercolor Society.

Mr. Luchangco was appointed to his current position as CFO, Chief Sustainability Officer, and Head of Strategy and Finance effective June 2022. In this role, he manages the Bank's strategic planning and budgeting, capital structure, investor relations and sustainability agenda, as well as overseeing the legal and business transformation teams.

Immediately prior, Mr. Luchangco was Head of Business Banking from June 2019 until May 2022, where he managed BPI’s presence within the SME space with a vision of becoming the partner of choice for SMEs in the Philippines.

Mr. Luchangco initially joined the BPI Group in 2013, starting with BPI Capital, BPI’s investment banking unit, as Head of Debt Capital Markets. In June 2017, he moved into BPI to become the Head of Corporate Credit Products, where his team managed the credit reviews of the accounts under the Corporate Bank.

Prior to joining BPI, Mr. Luchangco worked at Daiwa Capital Markets, spending time in their Manila, Hong Kong and Singapore offices, originating and executing a wide variety of investment banking transactions.

Mr. Luchangco graduated with a degree in Management Economics from Ateneo de Manila University and received his MBA degree from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan

A BFSI veteran, Mr. Tata has over 35 years of experience, including 30 years with HDFC Bank.

Mr. Tata began his career in 1987 as a Consultant in Strategic Consultants Pvt Ltd.

He joined HDFC Bank in 1994 as a Relationship Manager in the Corporate Banking Department. Over the years, he rose through the ranks to Head the Corporate Banking Department. In June 2013, he was appointed as Chief Risk Officer of HDFC Bank. As of date, Mr. Tata is the Chief Credit Officer of HDFC Bank.

Mr. Tata has completed his Master of Financial Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India.

Sally Yim is a Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group. Based in Hong Kong SAR, China, Sally is the Head of APAC Financial Institutions, responsible for Moody’s analytical teams covering ratings and research on APAC banks, insurance companies, and non-bank financial institutions such as securities and leasing companies. She is also a co-head of Moody’s Global Banking and Global Insurance & Asset Management rating franchises. In addition, Sally leads the Global Financial Institutions Group’s Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) efforts.

Sally joined Moody’s in February 2005 as an Associate Analyst in New York, covering property & casualty insurers. She transferred to Hong Kong in 2006 and completed a short stint in the Corporate Finance Group, supporting analysts in the
oil & gas, petrochemical and steel sectors. Sally rejoined the Financial Institutions Group as an Analyst in January 2007. Since then, Sally has covered various Asian financial institutions, including insurance companies, banks and securities firms and subsequently, became a manager overseeing various teams covering the ratings and research of Greater China and Korean financial institutions.

Prior to joining Moody’s, Sally worked as a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young LLP in New York, specializing in private and public insurers. She also worked at Ernst & Young’s National Professional Practice, where she focused on technical accounting research, while assisting in accounting consultations.

Sally holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Accounting from the University of Michigan. She is a CFA charterholder and also a Certified Public Accountant.

Alka Anbarasu is an Associate Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group in Asia. Based in Singapore, Alka is responsible for Moody's analytical teams covering ratings and research on banks, insurance companies, and non-bank financial institutions in Japan, ASEAN and Indian Sub-continent. Alka also coordinates the Global Financial Institution Group's efforts on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) scoring and research. Alka is a regular speaker at Moody's market briefings, external conferences podcasts and broadcast media. She is very active in promoting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives and is a passionate impact leader for Moody's Community Impact initiatives in Asia.

Alka joined Moody's in 2013 and over the years has led the ratings of several high profile Asian financial institutions. Prior to joining Moody's, she worked in the investment banking division of J.P. Morgan in London and Mumbai and ING Vysya Bank in India. She has close to 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Alka holds an MBA from the Xavier Institute of Management in India.

Gene Fang is an Associate Managing Director in the Sovereign and Sub-sovereign Ratings Group in Asia. Based in Singapore, he manages the team responsible for sovereign and sub-sovereign ratings in the Asia Pacific region, as well as analysts covering regional and local governments in China. In addition, Gene leads Moody’s Digital Economy strategy in the Asia Pacific region, including engagement with regulators and market participants on Moody’s initiatives in digital finance.

 Before joining Moody’s, Gene worked as an investment banker for J.P. Morgan and Citigroup, where we covered financial institutions in Asia. Gene graduated from Columbia University in political science. He also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master in Public Policy from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.

Eugene Tarzimanov is a Senior Vice President in the Financial Institutions Group in Asia. Based in Singapore, he is the Lead Analyst for banks in Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. 

Eugene is also responsible for coordinating banking research across Asia Pacific, and actively represents Moody’s to regulators, investors and the media on analytical and methodological views. Eugene moved to Singapore from Moody’s Moscow office, where he covered the largest banks in Russia, as well as financial institutions in Europe and the Middle East.

Before joining Moody’s in early 2009, Eugene held senior positions during his five years with Standard & Poor’s, where he was responsible for the analysis of banks in Europe and the Middle East. He has also worked at the CEO’s office of Bank VTB, where he was responsible for inhouse research.

Eugene holds an MBA in financial management from New York’s Pace University, and a BSc in international economics from Moscow’s Finance Academy.

Srikanth Vadlamani is a Vice President – Group Credit Officer, APAC Banking for the Financial Institutions Group in Asia. Based in Singapore, he is primarily responsible for the credit ratings of banks and finance companies in India, Indonesia and Sri Lanka.

Prior to joining Moody’s, he was a Director in Daiwa Securities’ research department in Singapore, where he was responsible for the coverage of banks in the ASEAN region. He has also worked for other investment banks, including J.P. Morgan, Lehman Brothers and Nomura, where he covered banks and other financial institutions in India, Southeast Asia and emerging Europe.

Srikanth holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, majoring in Finance and Economics.

Tengfu Li is an Assistant Vice President – Analyst with Moody’s Financial Institutions Group.

Based in Singapore, he is responsible for the credit ratings of financial institutions in Indonesia and Malaysia. Prior to Moody’s, Tengfu worked at OCBC Bank, where he developed credit risk models.

Tengfu holds a MSc in Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University, and a BEng in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore.

Amit Pandey joined Moody’s APAC FIG in Singapore in 2023. He covers a rating portfolio of banks in Asia-Pacific, in particular the South and Southeast Asian region.

Previously, Amit was with S&P Global Ratings for over 10 years in Singapore covering a portfolio of ASEAN and South Asian financial institutions. Prior to that, he served in the debt capital market team of HSBC India and the credit department of Axis Bank in Mumbai. 

Amit has extensive credit experience in providing rating and capital advisory services to issuers across the Asia-Pacific region, as well as debt origination and management services of credit portfolios.

Amit has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.

Frank Yuen is a Vice President–Senior Credit Officer with Moody’s Ratings’ Financial Institutions Group. Based in Hong Kong, he covers a portfolio of insurers in Hong Kong, China and other parts of Asia Pacific.

Before joining Moody’s, Frank was an Equity Research Analyst, covering regional banks and insurers at BNP Paribas and Standard Chartered. In addition, Frank has worked as a management trainee and actuarial intern at a global bank and also an insurance company.

Frank graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, majoring in Actuarial Science, and is a CFA and FRM charterholder.

Jien is an Assistant Vice President – Analyst with Moody’s Financial Institutions Group. Based in Singapore, he is responsible for the credit ratings of financial institutions in Thailand and Vietnam.

He was previously a manager leading a team of associate analysts in Moody’s Ratings and Research Support division, supporting the development and maintenance of Moody’s ratings, research and related activities.

Before joining Moody’s, Jien was a manager with Ernst & Young Singapore, covering clients in the banking, asset management and commodity trading industries. 

Jien holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Adelaide. He is also certified practising accountant (CPA).

CJ Wong is an Analyst with Moody’s Financial Institutions Group.

Based in Singapore, CJ covers a portfolio of banks and non-bank financial institutions in Bangladesh, Malaysia and Vietnam

Prior to joining Moody’s, CJ worked as a research analyst in the Dividend Forecasting team at IHS Markit, where he was responsible for providing estimates on financial institutions and corporates in Australia and Singapore.

CJ holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from the University of Sydney, majoring in Finance and Economics. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Helen Zhang is an Assistant Vice President-Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group of Moody's Investors Service based in Hong Kong. She is responsible for a portfolio of banks in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. Previously, she supported credit ratings of banks in mainland China.

Helen joined Moody’s in 2017 as an Associate Analyst. Prior to that, Helen spent two years at Ernst & Young, where she was a senior audit accountant covering financial institutions.

Helen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is also a CPA in Hong Kong.

Do Khanh Vy is an Analyst with Moody’s Financial Institutions Group.

Based in Singapore, Vy covers a portfolio of banks and non-bank financial institutions in Vietnam and Bangladesh. Prior to joining Moody’s, Vy was a Senior Associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers Singapore in the Financial Services Tax team, covering clients in the banking, insurance and asset wealth management industries.

Vy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honors), Accountancy from the National University of Singapore.

Devang is an Assistant Vice President - Analyst in Moody’s Ratings’ Financial Institutions Group, based in Singapore. He leads credit rating and research for banks in South Asia and non-bank financial institutions in India.

Devang has 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry. Before joining Moody’s Ratings, he served as Deputy Vice President in HDFC Bank’s Credit Risk Management division in India where he focused on credit portfolio risk management and risk analytics.

In earlier roles at HDFC Bank, he managed securitization and underwriting for financial institutions. He began his career with Moody’s domestic affiliate, ICRA Limited in India, specializing in structured finance ratings.

Devang holds an MBA in Finance from the S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research(SPJIMR) and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from VJTI Mumbai.

Clarabelle Tan is an Analyst with Moody’s Financial Institutions Group. 

Based in Singapore, she is responsible for Moody’s portfolio of banks and non-bank financial institutions in Indonesia and Philippines. 

Prior to joining Moody’s, Clarabelle was a Senior Associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers Singapore in the Financial Services Assurance team, covering clients in the asset wealth management, venture capital and banking industries. 

Clarabelle holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honors), Accountancy from the National University of Singapore.

Grace Lim is an AVP-Analyst with Moody’s Sovereign Risk Group. Based in Singapore, Grace covers a portfolio of sovereign credits and multilateral development banks in Asia Pacific. 

Before joining Moody’s in 2021, Grace was a Senior Economist at the Monetary Authority of Singapore, where she led the economic analysis for the US, Eurozone and some ASEAN economies. Prior to that, Grace was a policy analyst in the central bank working on banking regulatory frame works. 

Grace holds a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) in Mathematics and Economics from the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
