Kathrin joined Moody’s Ratings in April 2010 as a member of the Sovereign Risk Group. She is the lead analyst for a number of European sovereigns including Turkey and Israel as well as several MDBs such as the IFC, EBRD and AIIB among others. She is also Moody’s global coordinator for all of Moody’s MDB ratings.

Prior to joining Moody’s Kathrin was a Director with Merrill Lynch, working as Sovereign Ratings Advisor to governments and banks in emerging markets. Prior to that, she was Chief Economist for Deutsche Bank in Spain.

She holds a M.Sc. in Economics, Latin American Politics, Spanish and Portuguese languages from the University of Tuebingen as well as a post-graduate economics degree from the College of Europe, Bruges.

Young Kim is an AVP in Moody’s Sovereign and Sub-Sovereign Risk Group, based in Singapore. He is a lead analyst, covering sovereign portfolios and multilateral development banks in the Asia Pacific and CIS region, including the Philippines, Singapore, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, and other credits as well as institutions such as AIIB.

Previously, Young worked in Moody’s Financial Institutions Group, covering portfolios of nonbank financial institutions such as insurance, securities, and government-related entities in Korea and Hong Kong SAR. He also contributed to Moody’s ESG and sustainable finance team.

Before joining Moody’s, Young was a research officer at the International Monetary Fund in Washington D.C., focusing on country risk and public finance in the Fiscal Affairs Department.

Young holds a master’s degree in international relations and international economics from Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies.

Grace Lim is an AVP-Ratings within Moody’s Sovereign Risk Group. Based in Singapore, Grace covers a portfolio of sovereign credits and multilateral development banks in Asia Pacific. 

Before joining Moody’s, Grace was a Senior Economist at the Monetary Authority of Singapore, where she led the economic analysis for the US, Eurozone and some ASEAN economies. Prior to that, Grace was a policy analyst in the central bank working on banking regulatory frameworks. 

Grace holds a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) in Mathematics and Economics from the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

Anushka Shah is a Senior Vice President with Moody’s Sovereign Risk Group. Based in Singapore, Anushka covers a number of countries in Asia Pacific, including China, Korea, Australia, and a few Central Asian sovereigns. 

Prior to joining Moody’s in 2012, Anushka worked for more than seven years at Citi Investment Research in Bombay, where her focus was on the South Asian economies. 

Anushka has a Master’s in Economics and Finance from the University of Warwick and a Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Mumbai.
