| Heiko Peters is a Vice President - Senior Analyst in Moody’s Sovereign Risk Group, and is based in the Frankfurt office. He has Lead Analyst responsibilities for a number of European sovereigns and supra-nationals, producing ratings and research related to their creditworthiness. Heiko joined Moody’s from Deutsche Bank AG, where he was Senior Economist - Vice President in the European Economics Team of Deutsche Bank Research for more than five years. He published research on economic and political topics, including global trade, labour markets, demographics and migration, and covered in particular the economies of Germany and Austria. Prior to that he had worked from 2009 to 2011 as an Economist for the German Council of Economic Experts in Wiesbaden, reporting to the Chair of the Council. Moreover, his professional background includes stints at the Deutsche Bundesbank (Visiting Researcher), Germany’s Monopolies Commission and the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW), both as a Visiting Fellow. He holds a PhD, a Master’s level diploma and a BSc in Economics from the University of Muenster. |
| Christian is a Vice President - Senior Analyst in the EMEA Insurance Team based in Frankfurt, Germany, and is the lead analyst for various primary insurers and reinsurers in the Benelux countries, Germany, Italy, the Nordics and Switzerland. Christian joined Moody’s in 2019. Prior to joining Moody’s, he was head of planning and performance management at Zurich Group Germany where he was in charge of planning, forecasting and reporting for the group’s German life insurance operations. Before that, he was a director and lead analyst at S&P Global, covering insurers in EMEA with a focus on companies operating in German-speaking countries. He started his career at Assekurata, where he specialized in assessing the investment management of rated insurers in Germany. Christian holds a degree in Business Administration from University of Cologne. |
Irina is an Analyst in the EMEA Insurance Team, with lead responsibilities for a portfolio of insurance companies in several European countries. Irina joined Moody’s London office in 2018 and transitioned to Frankfurt in 2020.
Prior to her current role, Irina worked as an Associate Analyst providing analytical support for a range of insurance companies across the EMEA region. Irina also supported ratings for UK asset managers.
Irina graduated from the Vienna University of Economics with M.Sc. in Finance and Accounting and holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the same university.
Salman Siddiqui is an Associate Managing Director, leading teams responsible for credit ratings of insurance companies across the EMEA region at Moody’s Ratings.
With an extensive background in the insurance industry, Salman previously lead initiatives in Moody’s Insurance Solutions business, focusing on IFRS 17, climate and sustainability, and casualty underwriting.
Before joining Moody’s, Salman held a leadership role at AM Best Europe, overseeing teams responsible for credit ratings on insurance companies in the UK, Switzerland and the Middle East.
Earlier in his career, Salman was part of KPMG UK, where he was involved in audit and advisory engagements for insurance companies.
Salman is a graduate from the University of Essex, with a degree in finance and accounting, and is also a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) from ICAEW.
Lea Müller ist Director Business Development bei Moody’s Insurance Solutions in Zürich und unterstützt Versicherer und Rückversicherer dabei, Naturkatastrophen‑ und Klimarisiken mithilfe hochauflösender Katastrophenmodelle und moderner Analytik strategisch zu steuern.
Sie verfügt über 15 Jahre internationale Berufserfahrung an der Schnittstelle von Rückversicherung, Klimarisiken, Naturgefahrenmodellierung und analytischen Versicherungslösungen.
Bei CelsiusPro leitete sie als Head of Consulting internationale Projekte zu parametrischen Versicherungslösungen, Klimarisiken und Naturgefahren für öffentliche und private Auftraggeber.
Anschließend verantwortete sie bei SCOR das globale Landwirtschafts‑Rückversicherungspricing und führte mit ihrem Team die Modellierung und Preisgestaltung.
Einen prägenden Teil ihrer Laufbahn verbrachte sie bei Swiss Re, wo sie über 8 Jahre als Naturgefahrenmodelle entwickelte, Klimanapassungsmassnahmen quantifizierte und maßgeschneiderte Versicherungslösungen für den öffentlichen Sektor erstellte.
Sie hat Umweltingenieurwissenschaften mit Schwerpunkten Wasserressourcenmanagement und Hydraulik an der ETH Zürich studiert und lebt in Zürich, Schweiz.
