Ivy Poon is a Vice President with Moody’s in Hong Kong. She covers corporate ratings in a portfolio of power and gas utilities companies and conglomerates in Asia Pacific.

Prior to joining Moody’s, Ivy worked for KBC Bank N.V., as a credit assistant manager and a senior marketing officer.

Ivy holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Accounting from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is also an affiliate member of CPA.

Sue Su is a Vice President in Moody’s Corporate Finance Group.

Based in Beijing, Sue supports ratings and research for a portfolio of Chinese central and local state-owned enterprises across various industries.

Before joining Moody’s, Sue spent more than 10 years in HSBC, with her most recent role as a Senior Vice President for Wholesale Credit Risk Approval. Sue also worked as an Associate Director for Credit Analysis Unit in HSBC’s Global Banking and Markets.

Sue is a CFA charterholder, and holds a BA from Beijing Foreign Studies University and an MBA from Peking University.

Deborah Tan is a Vice President within Moody’s Credit Strategy and Guidance Group. Based in Singapore, she leads Moody’s thematic research for India, Southeast Asia and Australia with a focus on producing forward-looking macro-credit insights and outlooks. Her responsibilities also include designing scenario analysis to test the resilience of Moody’s rating methodologies and assessing the impact of these scenarios. 

Prior to joining Moody’s in 2019, Deborah was a macroeconomist at BHP Billiton where she covered both India and the US and led the Group’s interest rate, FX and long-term growth projections for key markets. She has also worked at the Monetary Authority of Singapore and PWC. 

Deborah holds a master’s in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a bachelor of science in Economics from University College London.

Lillian Li is a Vice President–Senior Credit Officer in the Credit Strategy and Guidance Group.

Based in Shanghai, Lillian contributes to thematic research on China, Japan and Korea, particularly with a cross-sectoral and macroeconomic credit focus. Lillian also drives and coordinates research initiatives covering major regional credit events.

Lillian’s role includes designing scenario analysis to test the resilience of credit ratings to a range of potential economic outcomes, as well as developing research publications on macro and credit trends and general market outreach for Great China.

Lillian joined Moody’s after eight years with the McKinsey Global Institute, where she led China macro-related research, including trends related to the macroeconomy, local government debt, as well as urbanization and sustainability. Lillian was also involved in analyzing the real estate, steel, auto and internet retail sectors.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Lillian was an Economic Analyst with the Canadian government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Lillian holds a Masters in Economics from the University of Ottawa and an MBA from the University of Warwick.

Ruosha joined Moody’s in January 2011. She is part of the Credit Strategy & Guidance team based in London. Previously, she worked as an economic research analyst at Barrie & Hibbert in Edinburgh, now part of Moody’s Analytics. 

Prior to that, she served as a credit analyst at HSBC in China. Ruosha holds a master’s degree in finance and investment from the University of Edinburgh, where she graduated with distinction, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics in China. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a certified Financial Risk Manager.

Ying Wang is a Vice President within Moody’s Corporate Finance Group. Based in Hong Kong, Ying covers a portfolio of consumer and internet companies across China.

Prior to joining Moody’s, Ying worked in Hong Kong as a Lead Equity Research Analyst at J.P. Morgan Securities (Asia Pacific) Limited, BNP Paribas and Standard Chartered Bank, focusing on a wide range of sectors including oil & gas, utilities, environmental protection and renewable energy.

Ying started his career as a journalist at Bloomberg and China Daily News Group, covering the energy, commodities and industrial sectors. He has also worked for a major Chinese oilfield service company in Beijing.

Ying holds an MBA in Finance from INSEAD Business School in France and Singapore, and a BA with honors from Xi’an International Studies University.

Eva is an AVP-Analyst with the Financial Institutions Group at Moody’s Ratings based in Hong Kong, covering a portfolio of Chinese non-bank financial institutions. Eva joins Moody's from BOCOM International, where she was an Associate Director in Rating Advisory covering Chinese companies, and prior to that, she was a credit rating analyst at A.M. Best Asia Pacific Limited covering property & casualty (P&C) insurance sector in Greater China. Eva also has worked in the insurance sector, first as a strategist at Ping An Life Insurance (Group) Company, then as a Vice President responsible for strategic advisory to P&C insurers in APAC region at Guy Carpenter. Eva received her Bachelor of Science in Finance from Wuhan University in China, and Master of Science in Economics and Finance from Warwick Business School in the United Kingdom.
