Vikash Halan is a Managing Director and team leader for Moody’s Corporate Finance Group, based in Singapore. In this role, he manages a team of rating analysts covering non-financial corporates in Asia Pacific excluding greater China.
Vikash joined Moody’s in 2011 and, prior to becoming a team leader, spent almost a decade as a lead analyst covering a range of sectors, including oil and gas, chemicals, shipping, conglomerates, real estate and investment holding companies.
Before joining Moody’s, Vikash worked for J.P. Morgan in Hong Kong as a capital markets and ratings advisor for clients in the Asia-Pacific region. He started his career as a chartered accountant with the Indian firm, BDO Lodha.
Vikash holds post graduate diploma in Business management form Xavier Institute of Management.
Kaustubh Chaubal is a Senior Vice President with Moody’s Corporate Finance Group. Based in Singapore, he covers a portfolio of Indian and India-based issuers in the metals and mining (ferrous and non-ferrous), automobile, chemicals and pharmaceuticals industries.
Prior to joining Moody’s in 2015, Kaustubh spent eight years as a Ratings Advisor with Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore, the last two of which was as Head of ASEAN Ratings Advisory, while also covering issuers in the Middle East and Africa.
Kaustubh has also worked as a Senior Analyst at Standard & Poor’s India-based subsidiary, CRISIL, covering a broad array of industries including pharmaceuticals, building materials, chemicals, and investment holding companies. And, he has previously held analytical roles at ING Vysya Bank and Unit Trust of India Investment Advisory Services, as well as auditing roles at RM Ajgaonkar & Company and RD Samant & Company.
Kaustubh holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce from Mumbai University. He is also a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
| Christian is a Vice President - Senior Analyst in the EMEA Insurance Team based in Frankfurt, Germany, and is the lead analyst for various primary insurers and reinsurers in the Benelux countries, Germany, Italy, the Nordics and Switzerland. Christian joined Moody’s in 2019. Prior to joining Moody’s, he was head of planning and performance management at Zurich Group Germany where he was in charge of planning, forecasting and reporting for the group’s German life insurance operations. Before that, he was a director and lead analyst at S&P Global, covering insurers in EMEA with a focus on companies operating in German-speaking countries. He started his career at Assekurata, where he specialized in assessing the investment management of rated insurers in Germany. Christian holds a degree in Business Administration from University of Cologne. |
Elisa Scalco is a Vice President – Senior Credit Officer in Moody’s Methodology Development Group in London, where she is responsible for developing structured finance rating methodologies. Since joining Moody’s in 2015, Elisa spent over three years on the EMEA Consumer Primary team, serving as lead analyst for RMBS, ABS, and NPL transactions across various jurisdictions. Prior to Moody’s, Elisa worked as a surveillance analyst for DBRS Ratings Limited in London and as a structured finance analyst for Securitisation Services Spa in Conegliano Veneto.
Elisa holds a PhD in Mathematics for Economic Decisions from the University of Trieste and a degree in Economics and Finance from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. Elisa is also a certified Financial Risk Manager from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP)
Corrado Trippa is a Vice President Senior Analyst in Moody’s EMEA Project Finance and Infrastructure team, based in Madrid. He covers a portfolio of infrastructure and utilities corporate names across different sectors including airports, regulated water companies, car parks, railways and multi-utilities. Corrado has also an extensive knowledge of project finance companies, having spent years covering names in different asset classes and geographies. His project finance coverage includes renewables, toll roads, PPPs, offshore transmission assets as well as LNG plants. Corrado joined Moody’s London PPIF team in January 2015 as an associate analyst from the European Investment Bank where he completed the graduate programme. He holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and corporate finance from the Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi where he discussed a dissertation on the mitigation of political risk in the financing of project finance transactions. He is fluent in English, Italian and Spanish and has good knowledge of french and Portuguese. Moody’s has a leading global Infrastructure Finance franchise, rating some US$2trillion of corporate and project finance securities, representing more than 90% of all public bonds issued globally in the sector. 180 analytical sector staff cover more than1,700 infrastructure issuers globally. Moody’s EMEA team of 46 specialists is responsible for rating around 430 issuers. The rating agency covers more than 39,000issuers and transactions.
Iker is an Analyst in the Moody’s EMEA Corporate Finance Group based in Dubai. He covers a diversified industry portfolio, with exposure in Turkey, Africa, and the Middle East.
He joined Moody’s Dubai office in 2022, and previously worked as an associate analyst in the Moody’s London office covering the leveraged finance industry with exposure to Business and Consumer Services, Healthcare, Airlines and Aerospace & Defense. Before that, he spent 2 years working in the consulting industry in Spain.
Iker holds a Masters Degree in Investment Management from Henley Business School. He also holds a BSc in Business Management from the University of Deusto and is a CFA charterholder since 2018.
