Lina Choi is an Associate Managing Director with the Corporate Finance Group for Moody’s Investors Service HK Ltd. She covers a portfolio of Chinese corporates in various sectors, including Internet, technology, food and beverage.
Before joining Moody’s, Lina worked as a senior investment analyst for AllianceBernstein Holdings LP, a US asset management company. She covered Chinese equities in the telecoms, media and technology sectors. Lina has also worked as an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley’s Equity Research Division, overseeing the Asian telecommunications industry.
Lina has an BA in Economics from the University of Chicago. She is a CFA charter holder.
Sue Su is a Vice President and Senior Analyst in Moody’s Corporate Finance Group.
Based in Beijing, Sue supports ratings and research for a portfolio of Chinese central and local state-owned enterprises across various industries.
Before joining Moody’s, Sue spent more than 10 years in HSBC, with her most recent role as a Senior Vice President for Wholesale Credit Risk Approval. Sue also worked as an Associate Director for Credit Analysis Unit in HSBC’s Global Banking and Markets.
Sue is a CFA charterholder, and holds a BA from Beijing Foreign Studies University and an MBA from Peking University.
Gerwin Ho is a Vice President – Senior Credit Officer with the Corporate Finance Group in Asia. Based in Hong Kong, he covers a portfolio of Chinese corporates, including automotive-related, manufacturing and consumer-related companies.
Before joining Moody’s, Gerwin was a Director with Citigroup’s Equity Research Division in Hong Kong, where he headed the analysis of automotive companies in Asia and analyzed Chinese automotive and industrial companies.
He has also analyzed automotive, industrial, consumer and healthcare companies in China and Korea while working at Bear Stearns, ABN AMRO, Credit Suisse and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.
Gerwin holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and an International MBA from York University.
Jinguo (Anna) Zhang is a Lead Ratings Associate with the Corporate Finance Group. Based in Beijing, she focuses on the credit analysis of China issuers covering construction, investment holding/conglomerate, trading groups and LGFVs, etc. Anna also proactively participated in many high-profile CFG projects as the primary RA, i.e. the China HPA project related to sovereign action and MAP China.
Prior to joining Moody’s in December 2018, Anna worked at HSBC in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong as a Credit Analyst responsible for a portfolio of TopTier groups which are central SOEs, local SOEs and POEs in diversified industries.
Anna holds a Master’s in Finance from Peking University’s Guanghua School of Management and a Bachelor’s in Electronic Engineering from the same university.
