Close| Dr. Adam Grossman leads the team focused on identifying, characterizing, and modeling systemic casualty emerging risks. Prior to Moody’s acquisition of Praedicat, he served as Praedicat’s Senior Vice President of Emerging Risk. In that role, Adam led risk identification and characterization activities along with building scenario models that quantified the potential that emerging risks can lead to large liability losses. His prior roles at Praedicat included building risk models and developing analytics and visualizations for the company’s software platform, CoMeta. Adam was a co-founder of Praedicat, having joined via RMS, and he played a key role in developing the foundational models, approaches, and data resources. Prior to his 15 years helping shape the future of casualty emerging risk modeling, he used patient data from the intensive care unit to develop complex models to forecast patient outcomes. Adam holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in engineering science from the University of Toronto and a Master of Science and doctorate in bioengineering from Stanford University. |
