Ariane leads a team of New York-based analysts covering a portfolio of sovereign and Multilateral Development Bank (MDB) credits across the Americas. She is tasked with delivering on timely and accurate ratings, impactful content, and high-quality stakeholder engagement, as well as Moody’s digital strategy and incremental growth areas.

Before leading the Americas’ Sovereign Risk Group team, Ariane was part of the Credit Strategy and Guidance team, where she led cross-sector analytic initiatives, research and outreach covering Latin America. She chaired the Latin America Credit Council and ensured global analytical consistency, fostering collaboration across analytical teams.

From 2021 to 2023, Ariane was part of the Global Emerging Markets team, responsible for generating house views and research, and hosted Moody’s Emerging Markets Decoded podcast.

Prior to that, Ariane spent a decade as a sovereign analyst, managing a portfolio of sovereigns and multilateral development banks in Latin America and the Caribbean, including Mexico, Chile and the International Finance Corporation, leading the internal rating committee discussions for her portfolio of credits, country and region-specific publications, and meetings with government officials.

Before joining Moody’s in 2011, Ariane was a research analyst at the Initiative for Policy Dialogue at Columbia University, prior to which she was a corporate credit analyst in Citi-Banamex in Mexico.

Ariane graduated with Honors in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) and has a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University.

Felipe is a Vice President-Senior Credit Officer in the Financial Institutions Group for Moody's. Based in Mexico City, he leads the credit analysis of various financial institutions, including banks, securities firms and finance companies in Mexico, Chile and Peru. Prior to this position, he had similar responsibilities for financial institutions throughout Latin America. Felipe joined Moody's in 2000. He holds an MBA from New York University and received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Boston. He speaks fluent Spanish, English and Portuguese

Renzo Merino es vicepresidente y credit officer sénior del grupo de riesgo soberano de Moody's Ratings. Se incorporó a Moody's en 2011 y ha sido analista líder de calificaciones soberanas y supranacionales en América Latina desde 2014. Su cartera incluye México, Colombia, Panamá y Uruguay. También es el analista principal del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo. Renzo ha publicado investigaciones sobre temas relevantes para el crédito soberano que afectan a la región de América Latina. Se graduó de la Universidad de Nueva York con una Maestría en Economía y también tiene un BA en Economía de la Universidad de Pennsylvania.

Adrian Garza is the Credit Strategy Lead for Latin America within Moody’s Credit Strategy & Guidance team, where he leads strategic initiatives focused on the region. In this capacity, he oversees cross-sector thematic research, manages responses to credit events, and collaborates with senior leaders to shape Moody’s credit strategy for Latin America. He chairs Moody’s Latin America Credit Council facilitating coordination among analytical teams and ensuring unified perspectives on macro financial developments across the region.

Adrian is a frequent speaker at prominent market briefings, conferences, and media events, and is recognized as an expert on Latin American credit trends and sustainable finance.

Prior to his current role, Adrian was part of Moody’s Global Public, Project and Infrastructure Finance team, where he led the analysis of utilities and infrastructure companies across Latin America and the Caribbean. He also led research on sector trends and industry related topics. Before joining Moody’s in 2010, he worked in investment banking, primarily executing transactions in the housing and publishing industries.

He holds an MSc in Economics and Philosophy from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), an MSc in Carbon Management from the University of Edinburgh, and a BA in Economics from Tecnologico de Monterrey (ITESM). Adrian is also a CFA charter holder.

Roxana Munoz is responsible for a diverse portfolio in Latin America, including Mexico, Colombia, and Peru. Her portfolio covers states, municipalities, water companies, public universities, toll roads, airports among other infrastructure assets. Prior to joining Moody’s in February 2007, Roxana gained financial analysis experience at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, where she was responsible for the analysis of three campi. Also, she was an internal auditor at L’Oreal México. Roxana holds a Master on Finance and a Bachelor on Accounting and Finance (Honors) of Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM). She also studied at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas.

Martin Fernandez Romero is an experienced financial professional with expertise in capital markets in Latin America. He has spent over two decades working in the industry, leading teams, and managing businesses in the region. He currently serves as the Managing Director of the Moody's Local Group, a platform of domestic credit rating agencies operating in local capital markets of Latin America.

In his current role, Martin leads the Moody's Local Group as Chairman of the Boards of the Moody’s Local agencies, a position he has held since 2023. He has worked in establishing the company's reputation as a leading provider of credit rating services in the region. Prior to this role, he spent five years as the Managing Director and Regional Head for Latin America at Moody's Investors Service, where he led the business across the region. He also served as the Country Manager for Argentina and as a Team Leader and Manager for the Latin America Structured Finance Group at Moody's.

Martin also worked as a Vice President / Senior Analyst for the company, where he was responsible for leading the analysis of structured finance transactions in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and other countries in the region. He also worked as an Analyst at Magister BankWatch, a local rating agency affiliated with Thomson Reuters, based in Buenos Aires, where he focused on credit analysis for various companies and structured finance securities.

Martin holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from IAE Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Economics (Licenciado en Economía) from UADE, both of which are located in Argentina.

Matthew Walter se unió a Moody's en 2013 y actualmente forma parte del equiposub-soberano de Moody's Local México, donde maneja un portafolio de calificaciones de emisor de estados y municipios mexicanos, así como de créditos respaldados. Anteriormente en Moody's, Matthew trabajó en el equipo de investigaciones(research), enfocándose principalmente en el Grupo de Instituciones Financieras en América Latina. Previo a Moody’s, Matthew fue periodista y se desempeñó como jefede corresponsalía de Caracas y corresponsal en Santiago para Bloomberg News, así como reportero de mercados en el Wall Street Journal. Tiene una maestría de la School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) de la Universidad de Columbia, con especialización en economía y finanzas internacionales.

Amadeo cuenta con más de quince años de experiencia en finanzas corporativas, capital privado, banca de inversión y consultoría estrategia en empresas como Banco Santander, Nexxus, Bain & Co y Álvarez & Marsal; tiene amplia experiencia en el diseño e implementación de planes de creación de valor, originando y ejecutando fusiones y adquisiciones, cerrando operaciones en el mercado de capitales, así como elaborando e implementando reestructuras organizacionales. Amadeo es Lic. en Economía por el Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas y tiene un MBA por The Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, de ambos graduado con honores. En adición, ha concluido estudios de educación ejecutiva en la Universidad de Harvard y el Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Juan Francisco es originario de Monterrey, NL. Es licenciado en economía por el Tec de Monterrey, y cuenta con un MBA por Stanford. Anteriormente se desempeñó como consultor de estrategia en McKinsey & Co, y desde 2005 es cofundador y director general de Crediclub. También ha sido profesor de cátedra en estrategia y emprendedurismo en el Tec.

Por su parte, Crediclub es una Sociedad Financiera Popular que ha otorgado más de 4 millones de créditos, por más de 80 mil mdp. Una de sus marcas es Crediclub Supertasas, la primera aplicación enfocada en el ahorro de alto rendimiento en México.
