Jill Atsango is a Senior Analyst at GCR Ratings, an affiliate of Moody's, where she specializes in analyzing and rating financial institutions and corporates in the East African region. Prior to joining GCR, Jill spent nearly a decade in the banking industry, holding multiple roles at GTBank (Kenya) Ltd and Prime Bank Ltd.

Jill's banking experience equipped her with expertise in team leadership, relationship management, financial modeling, forecasting, credit risk analysis, strategy development, and business development. Her roles in corporate, commercial, and SME banking also involved driving the growth of assets and liabilities within those sectors. Additionally, Jill gained valuable insights by participating in various committees focused on credit approvals, asset and liabilities management, and strategic development, further enhancing her analytical capabilities and industry knowledge.

Angeline Mwangi Senior Manager, ESG and Climate Risk Family Bank

Angeline Mwangi holds an MA in Environmental Planning and Management (EPM). She has participated in Sustainable Finance training program for Environmental Consultants offered by KBA/IFC in 2015/2016, pursued trainings in Environmental and Social risk Analysis (ESRA) and Climate Change and TCFD both offered by UNEP FI, as well as Sustainability Training and E-learning Program (STEP). She is a Global Association of Risk professionals (GARP) in Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR). She attended several sustainability-related seminars and workshops.

Angeline is a NEMA (K) registered expert (1503) and has lead expert for over 15years conducting Environmental and Social assessments and for the last 5years has worked in banks in the space of ESG and Climate integrating sustainability with Banks processes both internal operations and lending activities. She is a member of the Sustainable Finance Initiative (SFI) Working Group under KBA.

I lead the IFRS9 function where I oversee the onboarding to Moody’s impairment solutions, from product to methodology, and lead the Parter Prime delivery program for Europe and Africa. I also lead the development of Advisory packages to support Moody’s Lending Solutions (e.g. EWS and RAROC) and ease integration in their credit decisioning process.
