Moody’s U.S. Consumer Credit Outlook
Join us Thursday, November 5th for our bi-annual Consumer Credit Outlook, where our panel of Moody's experts, Scott Hoyt, Senior Director and David Fieldhouse, Director, discuss the current and anticipated trends in household credit conditions.
Topics of discussion will include:
- Slower spending growth as uncertainty increases, along with signs that some consumer fundamentals are weakening.
- Consumer fundamentals are sending mixed signals – some are showing signs of strain, others may follow, and many aren't behaving as they typically do during economic cycles.
- Consumer credit performance remains uneven. Delinquency rates are still above pre-pandemic levels and could rise further if the labor market weakens.
The presentation will begin with prepared remarks by Scott and David and then dovetail into a fireside discussion between the presenters. We hope you can join us.
