Energy exporters have enjoyed robust growth and while oil markets are still a major focus for these countries, the agenda to diversify away from oil dependency has become increasingly important. Commodity importers, on the other hand, have faced significant challenges. Most notable of these countries is Egypt which has been struggling for a while to deal with its macroeconomic imbalances and is likely to continue to do so for some time.
