Neil Begley Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance Moody's Investors Service

Neil Begley is a Senior Vice President on Moody’s Tech-Media-Telecom team. Since joining Moody’s in 1994, he has been responsible for a credit ratings and research for a portfolio of large cap and other notable investment-grade and speculative-grade media, entertainment, telecom and sports issuers which presently includes such companies as AT&T, The Walt Disney Company, Comcast, Alphabet, Fox Corporation, Netflix, ActivisionBlizzard, ViacomCBS, Twitter, DISH Network, Lions Gate, sports leagues and teams, among others.

Before coming to Moody’s, Neil was with Bar¬clays Bank PLC’s merchant banking arm, Barclays de Zoete Wedd in New York. He began working at Barclays in 1989, concentrating on corporate finance for Barclay’s Communications group which included large media and tele¬com companies. He specialized in such industries as cable television, broadcasting, television networks, wireless and wireline

telecommunications, satellites and related others. Prior to working at Barclays, Neil was a senior accountant in KPMG’s auditing practice. He spent approximately four years in public accounting where he earned his CPA and specialized in industries such as financial institutions, manufacturing and middle market.

He graduated from St. John’s University College School of Business in 1985 with a BS in accounting. He lives on Long Island with his wife and has four children. He has served on professional advisory boards and has been active in causes supporting people with autism.

Andrea Usai Associate Managing Director, Corporate Finance Moody's Ratings

Andrea leads a team of London-based analysts within the corporate finance franchise covering a diverse portfolio of industries. Andrea started his career at Banca Intesa in Italy where he worked as a private banker, as a corporate banker and he also worked as an analyst at Bloomberg Financial Markets in London. Andrea was also a banking supervisor with the UK Financial Services Authority (FSA) for eight years. Andrea joined Moody’s in London 2011 and prior to his current role, he managed the Business & Consumer Services Team in New York for several years.

Stephen Tu Vice President - Senior Credit Officer, Financial Institutions Group Moody's Investors Service

Stephen is a lead analyst responsible for a portfolio of US funds & asset management companies. He has also led research on thematic topics including Digital Transformation, ESG Investing, Active & Passive investing and liquidity risks. His research is frequently cited in the FT, Bloomberg, NY Times, WSJ, Barron’s and other financial media.

Prior to joining Moody’s in 2013, he was an Executive Director at China International Capital Corporation focused on asset management and cross-border capital products. He served as Director at Societe Generale Asset Management’s alternative investment group as global strategy head for relative value investments and Director at Banc of America Capital Management’s alternative investment group managing hedge fund investments. Stephen started his career as a debt derivatives trader at Citibank in New York and graduated from the University of Michigan with an Honors in Economics.

Nicky Dang Senior Vice President, Credit Strategy and Research Group Moody's Ratings

Jingjing (Nicky) Dang is a Senior Vice President in Moody’s Credit Strategy and Research Group. Based in Shanghai, Nicky is responsible for covering a portfolio of China’s regional and local governments and market outreach on enhancing the transparency of relevant methodologies. She also focuses on China credit-related research and market outreach, and drives and coordinates research and credit-related initiatives covering major regional credit events. 

Nicky joined Moody’s New York office in February 2007 as an Associate Analyst. She was the lead analyst on various Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) and Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS) transactions in the Structured Finance Group. Prior to joining Moody’s Shanghai in February 2023, Nicky was an Associate Managing Director and the head of the Consumer ABS New Ratings Americas team, which covers credit card, auto, student loan, personal loan, timeshares and other consumer related ABS sectors. 

Nicky holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from New York University and a BA in Economics from Beijing Technology and Business University. She is also a CFA charterholder.

Fadi Abdel Massih Associate Managing Director – US Global Investment and Universal Banks, Securities Firms and Wealth Managers Moody's Ratings

Fadi oversees the North American team covering US-based global investment and universal banks, securities firms and wealth managers. Previously, Fadi was a lead analyst for a number of predominantly US-based banks, exchange operators, market makers, clearing houses and wealth managers. Prior to joining Moody’s in 2013, Fadi was an Investment Analyst at a Toronto-based asset manager overseeing a portfolio of investments in natural resources and financial institutions. Fadi previously worked at the Bank of Montreal as a Product Manager in cash management and payments products.

Fadi holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science from the Lebanese American University and a Master of Finance from Queen’s University in Canada. Fadi is a CFA Charterholder

Megan Fox Vice President - Senior Analyst, North America Banks Moody's Ratings

Megan Fox is a Vice President – Senior Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group of Moody’s Investors Service covering a portfolio of US regional and community banks. She joined Moody’s in 2011. 

Prior to joining Moody’s, Megan held positions with Freddie Mac, primarily within the Finance department. She holds an honors degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Delaware. 

In addition, Megan was Moody’s 2020 Women’s Bond Club Rising Star award holder. She has previously participated in various roles in the Women’s BRG and the Generational BRG, including co-chair from 2018-2020. Megan has been a mentor in Moody’s Bridging the Gap Program and is currently an ACP mentor through the Veteran’s BRG.
