Moorad Choudhry is an independent non-executive director at Recognise Bank Limited in London, a non-executive director at the Loughborough Building Society and a non-executive director at Wandle Housing Association. He is Honorary Professor at University of Kent Business School. He was latterly Treasurer, Corporate Banking Division at The Royal Bank of Scotland.
Moorad is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, a Fellow of the London Institute of Banking and Finance, a Fellow of the Global Association of Risk Professionals, a Fellow of the Institute of Directors and a Freeman of The Worshipful Company of International Bankers. He is author of The Principles of Banking (John Wiley & Sons 2012, 2022).
Moorad was born in Bangladesh and lives in Surrey, England. He was educated at Claremont Fan Court school, the University of Westminster and the University of Reading. He obtained his MBA from Henley Business School and his PhD from Birkbeck, University of London.
Helen Rider is General Manager, Head of Sales for Europe & Africa at Moody’s Analytics, leading sales teams representing MA products and services and customer relationships across the region.
Helen is a proven leader with over 20 years of experience in the financial markets, building high-performing teams and developing commercial strategies to drive growth and help customers make better business decisions.
Until February 2017, Helen was Managing Director, Head of Sales for Moody’s Analytics Enterprise Risk Solutions, with a focus on expanding the MA customer footprint across the EMEA region. Since joining Moody’s Investors Service in 1999, Helen has held a number of key sales and sales leadership positions across a wide range of teams. She has been instrumental to the EMEA region’s impressive growth story.
Since 2007, Helen has served as a voluntary board member for The Lily Foundation, a UK charity dedicated to fighting mitochondrial disease by helping families and funding medical research for treatments and to ultimately find a cure.
Helen holds a BA Hons in Modern Languages from The University of Sheffield. She speaks French, German, and conversational Spanish.
Prior to BitSight, Stephen was President and Cofounder of Saperix (acquired by Firemon), a company spun out of the MIT Lincoln Laboratory focused on vulnerability and network topology risk analysis. At MIT he led R&D programs solving large-scale national cybersecurity problems.
Susan Urkevich is Managing Director, Head of Sustainability, Wholesale Credit & Lending at HSBC where she is responsible for the development and execution of the sustainability strategy for credit and lending products. Susan also oversees embedding of a climate risk framework within the business and delivery of future state lending infrastructure to support ESG product development and controls.
Susan is a seasoned banking executive with over 20 years diverse geographic experience including working in New York, Hong Kong and London. She is a subject matter expert in credit and lending, capital models and project, export and infrastructure finance. Susan has proven success delivering large scale regulatory change programmes within Wholesale at HSBC including Basel III Reforms, Libor Transition and the redevelopment of IRB models.
Steve Budd is the COO of the Investec Asset Finance Group of companies. He previously held the role of MLRO for the business.
Steve joined Investec in 2006 to set up Investec Asset Finance and is an SMR for the business and board director.
Prior to this, he was a Director of BOSEF (Bank of Scotland Equipment Finance Ltd)
Masha leads a team of subject matter experts responsible for solution structuring for allowance calculation, stress testing, capital planning, credit risk management, and insurance risk management. Her primary focus is on banks, credit unions, and insurance companies.
Masha spent over 16 years in the financial industry in the U.S. in various roles, including audit, technical accounting policy, financial reporting. Earlier in her career, Ms.Muzyka led the solution consulting team at SS&C Primatics and focused on technical accounting policy at Freddie Mac and FHLB OF. Masha holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from the Moscow State University; is a CPA licensed in VA, and is a member of AICPA.
Clarisse has over 15 years of experience leading complex regulatory change project in the financial services industry, risk management and in more recent years has specialised in helping clients fight financial crime across various industries subjected to Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing regulations. The real-life implications of such crimes make her passionate about empowering staff and clients to combat these crimes effectively.

Gernot is Head of Group Corporate Credit Analysis in Raiffeisenbank International Group. Within his almost 15 years experience in banking, he took over responsibilities in various risk functions (Resolution & Recovery Planning, Stresstesting, ICAAP, Rating Services). From 2021 onwards he got the responsibility for the development of an internal ESG Scoring Model for Corporates – the roll-out was done in October 2022 finally, leading to new challenges and tasks for his area.
George's career ranges over 35 years in a number of global financial institutions in many countries in Europe, Asia & Africa. He is a seasoned Risk professional and has earned his expertise at Citibank, Deutsche, GE Capital, Standard Chartered, Barclays and Danske Bank. Operated at a "C" level for over 20 years. His last executive role was the Group CRO (interim) at Danske. He is now active in risk advisory and NED opportunities.
George holds an MBA in International Business from the University of Georgia and a BSc in Economics & Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University in the USA.
Senior partner in Financial Services, McKinsey Sustainability, and Risk & Resilience Practices; heads McKinsey Sustainability’s financial work, and was involved in operational risk and compliance for digital and analytics.
Simon is the Global Head of CLM at Commerzbank London managing onboarding, reviews, transaction monitoring as well as CLM Transformation Programme.
Prior to Commerzbank, Simon brings more then 24yrs of experience in Financial Services holding several senior roles across Nomura, RBC, Abn Amro & RBS.
Jared focusses on enterprise risk and finance transformation for large banking organisations, with a particular emphasis on credit risk and impairment management, risk governance, stress testing and capital management, and risk data and reporting.
Andre has a background in Applied Mathematics and for the last 20 years he has been supporting the Financial Services industry in developing and validating credit risk models. Andre now leads EY's UK Consulting Sustainability practice, focusing on Net Zero, Climate Modelling, Data and Reporting. Outside work Andre is a keen mountain biker.
Hanna Sarraf is a senior risk management executive, with over twenty five years’ experience in developing and implementing risk and regulatory management frameworks that deliver effective results in the financial services industry. He is currently the Chief Risk Strategy Officer at Starling Bank and was previously the Group Chief Risk Officer at Bankmed, a regional corporate, retail and private banking organisation with operations across the EMEA region. Prior to joining Bankmed, Hanna was the Group Executive, Head of Risk Strategy at Bank of Ireland and previously held senior risk and regulatory management consulting roles at Ernst & Young, KPMG and Accenture in the UK and globally.
Hanna’s international industry and client consulting experience spans a wide range of risk and regulatory management roles both at the strategic and execution levels gained with leading financial services organisations across all major industry segments in a wide number of geographic markets.
He holds a Specialised Master’s degree in Financial Engineering from the École Supérieure des Sciences Économiques et Commerciales (ESSEC) and an MSc in Finance from Dauphine University in France. He has authored many articles on financial risk management and is a frequent speaker at leading UK and international conferences.
