Shaheen Razzaq has nearly two decades of experience delivering risk management solutions to both insurance and reinsurance companies. As a Senior Director within the SaaS/Cloud solutions part of Moody’s Insurance business, Razzaq works with clients to understand their needs for the Intelligent Risk Platform™, the company’s Insurance enterprise-class, cloud-based, risk and exposure management platform.Shaheen is currently working on bringing sustainability to the core of insurance underwriting, integrating Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) analytics and Carbon Accounting into workflows through intuitive and power applications that allow a new set of business users to build more analytical insights into the risks they underwrite.As a regular speaker at industry events, Razzaq often gives presentations about the business-value technology delivers to organizations that manage both catastrophe and non-catastrophe underwriting risk.Shaheen holds a master’s in business and information technology from Kingston Business School.
Cihan Biyikoglu is the Executive Vice President, Product for Moody’s RMS, responsible for product management across the full suite of Moody’s RMS models and risk management tools. He has extensive experience of leading product management for innovative machine learning and big data analytics solutions at Fortune 500 companies over the last 20 years. As a former Vice President of Product at Databricks and Redis Labs, Cihan both developed the product strategy and road map for open-source technologies such as Apache Spark and Redis and respective enterprise offerings in the public and private cloud platforms.
Cihan also worked on products at Microsoft, Couchbase, and Twitter, where he focused on on-premises and cloud offerings in the data and analytics space. At Microsoft, Cihan focused on the incubation of the Azure Cloud Platform in its early days and the SQL Server product line, both of which have grown to multi-billion-dollar businesses for Microsoft.
Cihan holds a number of patents in the data management and analytics space, and he has a master’s degree in database systems and a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering.
Lonny Bastien leads the Software Product Management team in the Insurance Solutions division at Moody’s, managing the Intelligent Risk Platform (IRP), Risk Modeler, as well as all the IQ Applications and the many RMS on-premise software solutions. Lonny is a seasoned product manager and engineer with over 20 years of experience. Having worked for various types of businesses, from small family companies to Fortune 100 corporations, Lonny brings a broad understanding of different business approaches to building successful software solutions on-prem and in the cloud.
Oli is a Director of Product at Moody’s Insurance Solutions. Having joined Moody’s RMS initially in the Client Success team, Oli has since worked as a Solutions Consultant and Director of Product Marketing. He has spent over 10 years helping companies in the insurance industry leverage data and analytics to improve risk decision making, and his focus in his role as Director of Product is on finding technological solutions to challenges in the treaty reinsurance market. Together with Jesse Nickerson, Oli leads the product development of TreatyIQ on Risk Intelligence. Oli holds a BSc(Hons) in Mathematics, Statistics and Accounting from the University of Strathclyde.
Alisha Fazo is the lead Application Product Manager for the Intelligent Risk Platform cat modeling applications, Risk Modeler and new primary underwriting application. Alisha brings more than 10 years of experience managing software application product pipelines across private and public sectors to Moody's RMS. Alisha oversaw operations for robotic engineering projects at NASA and was instrumental in designing Kaiser Permanente’s IT Clinical Call Center application. She holds a master’s degree in Information Systems and bachelor’s in Economics from Santa Clara University.
