CloseRalph Man is a Senior Director of Implementation Services of Asia Pacific Lending for Moody’s Analytics, based in Hong Kong. He leads a team of consultants and subject matter experts in origination.
Ralph and his team had successfully implemented a number of large-scale loan origination and rating assessment projects for different banks and financial institutions in the region. Ralph holds a MSc degree in Finance with distinction from The University of Michigan-Dearborn and a BEng in Computer Engineering from The University of Hong Kong.
Mr. Hsu joined the Bank in March 2023 as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer. In addition to his role as Chief Strategy Officer, he was appointed as Chief Risk Officer in February 2024 and oversees the Bank’s Group Risk Management. Mr. Hsu has over 30 years of banking experience, and possesses solid frontline and control experience from local and foreign banks including Citibank, Barclays Bank, Chong Hing Bank, Deutsche Bank and Hang Seng Bank. Prior to joining the Bank, he was CEO of ZA Bank. Mr. Hsu graduated from New York University with B.S. Finance & International Business.
Yiwen He is Associate Director, Solutions Specialist – Asia Pacific – for Moody's, based in Hong Kong.
In her current role, Yiwen is responsible for helping customers navigating through complex needs of physical and transition risk solutions. She has been engaging closely with local regulators, stock exchanges, industry bodies in North Asia, ASEAN and Oceania countries across banking, asset managers, insurance sectors and corporates. She has also been involved in trainings to regulators, sovereign funds and multi-national banks to upskill the teams. She is actively responding to sustainable initiatives such as ISSB, TNFD, PRI, ASIFMA etc. to bring market insights and address customers' needs.
Before her current role at Moody's, Yiwen worked in the financial data service industry for 12 years, across APAC and EMEA, led an analyst team of 50 people, especially focusing on integrating data from 30+ global data vendors and providing customized data management service to financial institutions.
Thanh Ha Ngo is a Senior Director, Product Manager at Moody’s Analytics, in charge of the Final Basel III regulatory solutions (RiskAuthority and Banking Cloud).
She has more than 10 years of experience in the regulatory capital requirement domain and is an expert in several supervisory regulations including BCBS, EBA CRR2, MAS 637, PRA UK, HKMA, APRA.
Thanh Ha holds a masters engineering degree in Computer Science from Ensimag (INPG), Grenoble, France.
Richard is Head of Product Management for Regulatory Capital application. He joined Moody’s in 2006 and led the Risk Foundation engineering team for multiple years.
He actively participated to the transformation of Fermat to Risk Foundation with a focus on the integration of all supported risks into a single comprehensive and configurable workflow able to streamline calculation, consolidation and reporting. In 2015, Richard took the lead of the implementation of a “next gen” solution limiting the support of external 3rd parties solution for end-users while integrating data volume and data interoperability challenges raised by the growing regulatory ecosystem. Since 2021, Richard is managing product and engineering for the regulatory capital solution. His domains of expertise are software architecture, cloud and compliance applied to regulatory business.
Richard is holding a PhD in Image processing and master engineering degree in computer science.
Yi Chen is the Regional Head for the Asia-Pacific and Middle East markets in Moody’s Banking Business Unit. Yi oversees the business portfolio encompassing Data, Analytics, and Tools, specifically focusing on use cases in the banking segment. He is responsible for:
Yi is a seasoned risk management practitioner and a domain expert in the financial industry. Before taking on his current role, Yi joined Moody’s UK team in 2006, working as an industry practice leader and senior consultant. He brought deep knowledge of his expertise to various financial institutions across Europe. In 2013, Yi relocated to Hong Kong and worked as a Business Development Manager, responsible for Commercial and Origination solutions for the Asia-Pacific and Middle East. This responsibility was later extended to Europe as well.
