Julien is Senior Vice President in the EMEA Commercial Group, based in Zurich, and responsible to drive Moody’s commercial insurance strategy in the region. Julien has more than 17 years of experience in the financial industry, with extensive knowledge in Finance and (re)insurance business. Prior to joining Moody´s, Julien worked 10 years at Swiss Re in Zurich in different roles, in Treasury Capital & Liquidity Management and Business Development. As Senior Business Development Manager, Julien was in charge of originating structured reinsurance transactions, solutions and improving relationship with toptier clients and markets. Before joining Swiss Re, Julien worked for Mazars in Paris and Zurich to cover (re)insurance clients in audit and advisory services. Julien holds an Engineering degree from Ecole des Hautes Etudes d’Ingénieur (HEI), Lille, France and a Master in International Risk Management from HEC Business School in Paris

Evan is a Vice President - Senior Credit Officer working on sovereign ratings focused on Northern and Eastern Europe as well as the CIS. His portfolio has included the UK, Switzerland, Iceland, Hungary, Serbia, the Baltics, Ukraine and Moldova. Evan joined Moody’s in 2015 after a varied career in the UK public and private sector. Prior to starting at Moody’s, he spent five and half years working as an economist at the Bank of England, where his last role was an economic adviser in the External Monetary Policy Committee unit. 

He also worked as a financial economist in the Monetary Analysis division as well as in the bank resolution area working with other UK authorities to monitor and resolve financial institutions as part of the UK’s Resolution Regime. Before joining the Bank of England, he worked in corporate finance at KPMG focusing on debt advisory and mergers and acquisitions. He holds an MSc in Finance from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Spain as well as an MComm in Economics from the University of Cape Town in South Africa.

Timo is a Lead Analyst within Moody’s Corporate Finance Group, based in London. He is currently responsible for a portfolio of predominantly leveraged finance credits with focus on the automotive manufacturing and business & consumer services sectors in Europe.

Prior to joining Moody’s in 2015, Timo had worked as a Financial Controller at Gruner AG in Germany. Timo holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from Edinburgh Napier University, Scotland, and a Master’s degree in International Accounting and Taxation from ESB Business School Reutlingen, Germany.

Benjamin is a Senior Vice President in the European Insurance team, based in Paris. He has primary analytical responsibility for a number of insurance groups in Europe, covering or having covered insurers and reinsurers in France, the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, the Benelux or in the CIS countries. He is also responsible for the analytical team covering insurers operating in the Middle East region. Prior to joining Moody’s in 2006, Benjamin worked for l’Autorité de Contrôle des Assurances et des Mutuelles (the French insurance supervisory authority) and l’Autorité des Marchés Financiers (the French financial markets supervisory authority). Member of French Actuarial Association. Degrees in Finance and Actuarial Science (ENSAE) and Finance and Economics (Ecole Polytechnique). Fluent in French.
