Frederik Geertman has been CEO of Banca Ifis since April 2021.Having graduated in Chemical Engineering from the Delft University of Technology in Holland and achieved an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. From 2016 to 2020, he held the position of Deputy General Manager and Chief Commercial Officer of UBI Banca, coordinating nationally-important economic and industrial relaunch operations. Before this, he spent almost ten years with the international banking group UniCredit, amongst others as Head of Global Marketing and Segment Management for various European countries and as Manager responsible for the Italian network of branches for Families and SMEs. He began his professional career with a leading strategic consulting firm, McKinsey & Co., first in Holland and thereafter in Italy. During his career, Mr Geertman has driven the digitisation of customers relations with an omni-channel approach, at the same time increasing the commercial productivity of the companies in which he operated through the redesign of the organisation and commercial processes.

Michelangelo Margaria is an Associate Managing Director with Moody’s Structured Finance Group and is based in the Milan office. 

He co-leads the Consumer Securitisation team in the EMEA region and coordinates the Structured Finance activity in the Italian market. Previously, he co-led the EMEA RMBS team and was a senior analyst rating securitization transactions backed by different asset classes in various EMEA jurisdictions.

Michelangelo Margaria also serves as Moody’s Ratings Country Manager for Italy, overseeing Moody's Ratings activities in the country. Before joining Moody’s in 2002, Michelangelo worked in the Structured Credit Group at UBS in London. Mr. Margaria graduated in engineering from the Polytechnic of Turin.

Fabio Iannò is in charge of a portfolio of Italian and dutch banks. 

Prior to joining Moody’s in March 2018, Fabio was a Director at Fitch Ratings in London for 7 years covering Italian banks. Before Fitch Ratings he worked for Deloitte & Touche in New York (2008 - 2009) as Senior Consultant in the Capital Markets division and in Milan (2004 - 2008) in the audit department.

Fabio holds an MBA - Master in Business Administration (SDA Bocconi) and an MSc in International Business (Bocconi University).

Guy Combot joined Moody’s as Vice President – Senior Analyst with the Financial Institutions Group in September 2018 and is based in our Paris office. He covers a portfolio of French and Italian banks.

Prior to joining Moody’s, Guy worked at CNP Assurances, a leading provider of life insurance in France. After joining CNP Assurances in 1998, he worked in a number of positions including the compliance unit and investment division, before starting his last role as a senior buy-side credit analyst of financial institutions in 2012.

Guy graduated from IPAG Paris Business school with a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance and holds an Accounting post-graduate degree from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers.

Guy is a Financial Analyst (CIAA / EFFAS), and a member of SFAF(French Society of Financial Analysts).

Guy is a French national and speaks fluent Italian and English.
