Shuang joined the Bank as Head of Greater China Economic Research in April 2015, and is now Chief Economist for Greater China and North Asia. He has more than 20 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. Shuang was previously Senior China Economist at Citigroup, where he had led the China Economic research team since early 2011. He worked at the IMF from 1997-2010, covering countries in Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia and Europe. Prior to the IMF, Shuang was an economist with the People’s Bank of China from 1993-97. He has a Master’s from the Graduate School of the People’s Bank of China, an MBA from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor’s from Fudan University.

担任中国高级经济师，负责宏观经济研究。他于1997-2010 年在美国华盛顿国际货币基金组织担任
经济师，先后跟踪非洲、中亚和欧洲的经济体，从事经济研究、政策制定和贷款审查。他于1993-
1997 年担任中国人民银行的经济学家。

丁爽先生拥有中国人民银行研究生部（现清华大学五道口金融学院）经济学硕士，约翰 • 霍普金斯
大学工商管理硕士和复旦大学学士学位。

Hua Cheng is a Senior Vice President and Director of Asia Credit Research. She joined AB in 2011 and now oversees the credit research capabilities in Asia. Cheng is also responsible for covering the technology sector in China, as well as banks and nonbank financial institutions in the Asia Pacific region, with an emphasis on China’s financial system and credit market. Earlier in her tenure at AB, she was an equity research analyst covering Chinese and Hong Kong banks. Cheng was previously an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she audited China’s financial institutions. She holds a BA in finance from the Capital University of Economics and Business (Beijing) and an MBA from the Columbia Business School. Cheng is a CFA charterholder.

Ms. Carol Cheng is the General Manager of the Office of the Board of Directors and also the Head of Investor Relations of China Merchants Port Holdings Company Limited (CMP) which is a HK-listed company (stock code 00144).

Carol has worked in the port industry for more than 20 years. She has actively participated in M&A activities, Financing activities, Investor Relations and Corporate Governance in CMP.

Now, she is the director of various port investments in Australia, Brazil, Togo and Sri Lanka.

She obtained a Master of Professional Accounting from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She is also a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK and a member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. 

As the head of DCM APAC in BNP Paribas, Manoj oversees the origination, structuring and execution of Debt Capital Markets (DCM) in the Asia Pacific region and manages a team of experts to collaborate with the broader DCM distribution platform of the bank.

Manoj has an extensive experience in debt capital markets and structuring, having assisted corporates, sovereigns and financial institutions raise over US$200 billion equivalent across currencies and credit spectrum. He has been associated with a number of high-profile debt capital market transactions in the region.Prior to joining BNP Paribas in 2010, Manoj was with Fixed Income Capital Markets at Citigroup Global Markets in Hong Kong and India, managing the credit advisory and structuring business across Asia-Pacific region. He started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in India.

Manoj is a Chartered Accountant with The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and he holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honors in Accountancy and Business Statistics.

Winston Cheng is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Lenovo. He oversees the group’s global financial operations, as well as corporate development and M&A, corporate finance, and investor relations.

Before joining Lenovo, Winston was the Global Co-Head of Technology, Media and Telecom, Investment Banking at The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC). Prior to joining HSBC, he was President International and a member of the group investment committee at JD.com.

With over 20 years of experience in investment banking, Winston has held senior leadership roles, including Managing Director and Head of Asia TMT Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and Head of Asia Technology Investment Banking and the Head of Asia Consumer Retail Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs. He began his career with Salomon Brothers and spent over a decade at Citigroup. He was based in New York, Palo Alto and Hong Kong.

In addition to his executive roles, Winston has extensive global leadership experience in the technology sector having served as board director of Arizon RFID, GoTo (Formerly GoJek), Tiki.com and TCL Electronics (formerly TCL Multimedia), as well as an industry investor and advisor.  

Winston holds a double Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Chinese Language from the University of California, Berkeley.
