Donald Robertson is a Managing Director & Global Co-Head of Banking, based in New York. In this role, he oversees the North American analytical teams covering banks, finance companies and securities firms. As a senior leader in Moody’s Ratings’ Financial Institutions Group, his focus is on leading the North American banking franchise, deepening analytical approaches and engagement, and adapting processes, tools and work flows to address rapid digitalization.

Previously, Donald was a lead analyst for global investment banks, securities firms and market infrastructure firms. In this role he had direct responsibility for the ratings of a number of US and European banks, exchange operators, electronic market makers and clearing houses. Donald was the lead author of Moody’s rating methodologies for Securities Industry Market Makers and Securities Industry Service Providers and played an integral role in their development and implementation.

Donald joined Moody’s in 2007 as an accounting specialist. In this role, he developed and authored Moody’s cross-sector rating methodology for Financial Statement Adjustments in the Analysis of Financial Institutions and helped develop and implement Moody’s system for spreading, adjusting and analyzing banks’ financial reporting.

Prior to joining Moody’s Ratings, Donald was a Director of Financial Audit at Siemens Corporation, responsible for leading a team conducting IFRS and US GAAP audits in the Americas’ region. Donald started his career at PwC in Glasgow, UK and thereafter transferred to PwC’s New York Metro region where he was an audit manager with a client base in the pharmaceutical industry.

Donald is a CA and CPA (inactive) and holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Glasgow.

Rob Fauber became President and Chief Executive Officer of Moody’s Corporation on January 1, 2021 and was elected to the Board of Directors effective October 22,2020. Rob joined Moody’s in 2005 and has held multiple leadership roles at Moody’s. Until his appointment as CEO, he was Moody’s Chief Operating Officer and drove strategic initiatives across the company. He served as President of Moody’s Investors Service from 2016 to 2019 and was Head of Moody’s Investors Service’s Global Commercial Group from 2013 to 2016, overseeing relationship management, product development, and strategy for the rating agency. Rob has also served as Head of Moody’s Corporate Development. Prior to Moody’s, he held roles in alternative investments, corporate strategy & business development, and investment banking at Citi. Rob earned his B.A. in economics from the University of Virginia and his M.B.A. from the Johnson School of Management at Cornell University. He and his wife have two children.

Jeff is an Associate Managing Director overseeing the North American team covering US regional banks as well as Canadian banks. Jeff joined the banking team from Moody’s Credit Strategy & Standards where he focused most recently on Public Finance after a long period focused on Financial Institutions. 

Jeff joined Moody’s in 2003 as the accounting specialist supporting the insurance sectors and was one of the founding members of Moody’s Accounting Specialists Group, whose role is to also publish research on complex reporting topics.  In 2004, Jeff changed his primarily role to that of a fundamental credit analyst within the US property & casualty insurance team and over time transitioned to a Group Credit Officer supporting the Financial Institution Group before moving to his current role.   

Prior to joining Moody’s, Jeff spent 12 years in public accounting, most recently with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he was a Senior Manager in the Insurance Audit Practice in New York City. Jeff’s previous experience included a tour in the Accounting Consulting Services Group of PwC’s National Office.  Jeff is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated magna cum laude from Skidmore College in New York.

Mr. Fanger has been with Moody’s since 1995 as a member of Moody’s Financial Institutions Group. In June 2008 he returned to Moody’s Global Banking team after serving as Chief Credit Officer for Moody’s Financial Institutions Group for 2 ½ years.He currently has lead or co lead analytic responsibilities for a number of large universal banks and securities firms headquartered in Europe and the U.S., and also provides guidance and support to other analysts covering similar institutions to help ensure consistency in Moody’s analysis and ratings of these complex firms. Mr. Fanger also continues to support Moody’s Credit Policy function through his participation on a variety of standing committees and special projects.

Mr. Fanger has previously served as Regional Credit Officer for the Americas Banking team and the Finance and Securities team at Moody’s, and has been lead analyst on a wide range of banks, thrifts, and credit card companies on those teams. Prior to joining Moody’s Mr. Fanger worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in Banking Supervision, and also served a brief stint at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. 

Mr. Fanger has a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government where he concentrated in Business and Government Relations, and a B.A. from Colby College where he majored in Economics and Government.

Warren Kornfeld is a Senior Vice President in Moody’s Financial Institutions Group covering mortgage, credit card, student loan banks and finance companies as well as Government Sponsored Enterprises (FHLBanks, Farm Credit, Fannie and Freddie).

Prior to joining the Financial Institutions Group, Warren was a Managing Director for Structured Finance Administration overseeing key strategic initiatives and prior to that Warren co-headed the Residential Mortgage- Backed Securities (RMBS) team as well as headed up the U.S. Servicer Ratings team.

Warren joined Moody’s in 2001. Prior to Moody’s, Warren held senior investment banking positions with William Blair & Co., The Industrial Bank of Japan and Bickford & Partners focusing on a securitizations of a wide range of asset types, including residential mortgages, equipment lease, auto loan and lease, consumer assets and commercial receivables.

Warren holds a B.S. in Finance and Decision Sciences from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Rian is a Vice President, Senior Credit Officer in the North American Financial Institutions Group covering U.S. regional banks.

Prior to joining Moody’s, Rian led a team at another rating agency that covered U.S. and Canadian universal and regional banks. Earlier in his career, he worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in financial institution supervision and in the offices of two U.S. senators.

Rian holds an MBA in banking and finance from Case Western Reserve University, a Graduate Certificate in Accounting and Taxation from Fordham University and is a CFA charter holder.

Mike is a Vice President in Moody’s Financial Institutions Group covering banks, consumer finance companies, and securities firms.

Prior to joining Moody’s, Mike was a senior director at another rating agency where he covered banks, consumer finance companies, asset managers, and securities firms. He led the agency’s internal fintech common interest group and published research on emerging issues in the sector. Prior to that, Mike was a sell-side equity analyst at UBS and Sandler O’Neill Partners where he was a senior analyst covering consumer and specialty finance companies.

Mike holds an MBA from the University of Florida and BBA in accounting from Pace University. He is also a certified public accountant in the state of New York.

Peter covers a broad portfolio of global investment, Canadian and US Regional banks and securities firms. 

Prior to joining Moody’s Ratings, Peter led a team at Deutsche Bank that was responsible for managing the bank’s exposure to US broker-dealers. Peter also worked at JPMorgan Chase managing trading and derivatives counterparty risk with regulated financial institutions and hedge funds. Peter holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Matt Berger is Jane Street's Global Head of Fixed Income. He has been involved in ETF trading since 2001, when he started his career trading for Jane Street on the floor of the American Stock Exchange. Matt led the effort to build out the firm's ETF automated market making capabilities in 2004. He also established its London ETF desk in 2006. 

In addition to helping manage firm-wide business initiatives, Matt has overseen the growth of Jane Street's fixed income business. He earned a B.S. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Management Science. Matt lives in New York City with his wife and their four kids and two dogs. 

Timothy Cuddihy is Managing Director and Group Chief Risk Officer, with global responsibility for all aspects of DTCC's Risk Management, including Credit, Market & Liquidity Risk, Model Risk, Operational Risk Management, Third Party Risk Management, Systemic Risk, Information Security and Technology Risk Management and Business Continuity Management. He also has responsibility for DTCC's Risk Data Management program. He is a member of the DTCC Executive Committee and the Chair of the firm's Management Risk.

Timothy has more than 30 years of experience in risk management in financial services. Over the course of his career, he has had significant interaction with market participants and the industry under various market conditions and across multiple risk families. He has substantial experience with developing sound risk controls and effective escalation for emerging exposures. He chaired the industry effort to assess and design a best practices framework for cyber and systemic risk management for the financial sector in partnership with members and advisors of the Analysis and Resiliency Center. He also has advised on assessing peak exposures and providing alternatives to mitigate risks.

Timothy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics and statistics from Rutgers University and holds a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from Rutgers University.

Shyam Rajan is Global Head of Fixed Income for Citadel Securities. With responsibility for the firm's fixed income risk and research functions, Shyam oversees the institutional sales and trading business, as well as the quantitative research, algo, and independent principal strategies teams. 

Shyam joined Citadel Securities from LMR Partners and previously spent more than a decade at Bank of America in fixed income trading and research leadership roles. 

Shyam received a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering from Rashtreeya Vidyalaya College of Engineering and a master's degree in financial engineering from Columbia University.

Jeremy Barnum is the Chief Financial Officer of JPMorganChase and a member of the firm’s Operating Committee.As CFO, Jeremy is responsible for Global Finance and Business Management, the Treasury/Chief Investment Office, Control Management, and Business Resiliency.Since joining the firm in 1994, Jeremy has held a number of leadership roles including head of Global Research for J.P. Morgan’s Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB), and Chief Financial Officer and Chief of Staff for the Corporate & Investment Bank from 2013 to 2021.Jeremy graduated from Harvard College with a degree in Chemistry. He lives in New York and is married with two daughters

Marc Pinto is the Global Head of Private Credit. In this role, he coordinates across the financial institutions, corporate, structured, and public and infrastructure finance rating groups to provide thought leadership, and ratings oversight in growth areas of the private credit market, including fund finance, private asset-backed securities, and privately placed investment-grade corporate assets. For over a decade, Marc has held a series of leadership roles of increasing scope and responsibility at Moody’s, including Global Co-Head of Insurance and Global Head of Funds & Asset Management.

Megan Fox is an Associate Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group at Moody’s Ratings. She oversees the North American team responsible for the ratings and research of a portfolio spanning US-based global investment and universal banks, securities firms, asset managers and Canadian banks.

Before leading the team, Megan spent nearly 15 years as a Moody’s Ratings analyst covering a broad range of global investment, universal, US regional and community banks. 

Prior to joining Moody’s Ratings, Megan held positions at Freddie Mac, primarily within the Finance department. She holds an honors degree in economics and political science from the University of Delaware.

Vicky Du is the Global Head, Fund Finance at Standard Chartered, managing a globally integrated team responsible for providing financial sponsors with fund level financing solutions.

Vicky has extensive knowledge and experience in Leveraged Finance, Structured Finance and Capital Markets. Prior to joining Standard Chartered, Vicky worked at Goldman Sachs and GE Capital. Vicky received an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business, and BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from University of Nebraska.

Vicky servers on the Advisory Committee for the Fund Finance Association, and Advisory Council for the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association.

Mr. Hague has over 30 years of experience in Leveraged Finance and Private Credit and is currently Head of the Global Leveraged Finance and Private Credit business for TD Securities, based in New York. Previously, he oversaw the Global Private Credit business. Prior to joining TD Securities, Scott was head of Debt Capital Markets and Private Capital Solutions at Cowen & Company. Before joining Cowen in 2019, he was Head of Debt Capital Markets for Stifel and served on their investment banking executive committee. Previously, he spent eleven years in a variety of roles within Investment Banking and Leveraged Finance at Merrill Lynch & Co. in New York and London. He graduated from Colgate University and currently serves as a member of their Alumni Corporation Board of Directors. Scott is also on the Executive Board of the American Heart Association.

Paul Schoper is head of Wells Fargo's Fund Finance Group. The Fund Finance Group provides financing and capital raising solutions to sponsors throughout the fund lifecycle.

Paul joined Wells Fargo in 2002. Paul was previously head of Portfolio Management and Underwriting for Wells Fargo’s Financial Institutions Group (FIG). He was responsible for the origination, structuring, underwriting and distribution of loans and other forms of risk exposure for FIG.

Before joining FIG, he was managing director and senior credit officer in Asset-Backed Finance (ABF). In that role, he was responsible for credit risk management for Consumer Finance, Preferred Capital, Strategic Auto Investments, Corporate Debt Finance, Subscription Finance, Mortgage Finance, Mortgage Banker Finance, and Transportation portfolios within ABF. 

Previously, Paul was responsible for credit risk management for the Subscription Finance Group within ABF from 2012 to early 2015. Before joining ABF, he worked in Principal Investing from 2008 to 2012 with responsibility for investments in the financial sector. He also worked in Corporate Banking as a relationship manager. 

Paul received his undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota and his M.B.A at the University of Chicago.

Paul is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Robert Colangelo is Vice President for the North America Financial Institutions Group. Based in Toronto, he is a lead credit analyst for the largest Canadian banks and insurance companies and publishes related research on these institutions as well as the banking and insurance sectors. 

Rob joined Moody’s in June 2021. Before joining Moody’s, Rob worked at another credit rating agency based in Toronto where he was a lead analyst on the large Canadian banks and various credit unions and other financial institutions in Canada. Rob also held a wide range of senior level positions in Finance at Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), including roles in External Reporting, Investor Relations and performance management reporting and forecasting. Rob holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CA).

Will Wootton is an Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group of Moody’s Ratings covering a portfolio of Canadian banks, finance companies, pension plans, and insurers. He joined Moody’s in April of 2025 after spending approximately five years at another rating agency, providing lead analytical oversight for the credit ratings of a variety of non-bank financial institutions in both Canada and the United States. Will also worked on the global credit products desk at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, and in debt capital markets at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Will received both a BBA (with high distinction) and an MBA (with cooperative education) from Wilfrid Laurier University, where he also worked as a research assistant while completing his studies.

Joseph Pucella is an Associate Managing Director based in New York who oversees the North American team covering specialty finance companies. From 2007 to 2022, Joseph was a lead analyst for various US financial institutions, including regional and community banks, credit unions, Federal Home Loan Banks, commercial real estate lenders and business development companies. He joined Moody’s in 2004 as an accounting specialist. Prior to joining Moody’s, Joseph held positions at Credit Suisse, Deloitte, and Arthur Andersen. Joseph is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated cum laude from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.

Inna Bodeck is a Vice President - Senior Credit Officer in the Financial Institutions Group. Based in New York, she is responsible for the ratings of the companies in the automotive captive sector as well as companies engaged in commercial aircraft leasing.

Prior to this role, Inna was an Assistant Vice President in the High Yield Corporate Finance Group. She was responsible for the coverage of high yield automotive suppliers and aftermarket players as well as manufacturing companies. In earlier roles with Moody’s, she has also covered North American investment grade and high yield consumer packaged goods companies. Prior to Moody’s, Inna worked at J.P. Morgan and UBS Investment Bank in various investment banking roles where she structured and executed debt financing transactions for corporate companies as well as alternative asset managers. 

She holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Emory University and a Bachelor in Finance from the Southern Illinois University.

Clay Montgomery is a Vice President - Senior Credit Officer in the Financial Institutions Group of Moody’s Ratings, covering a portfolio of banks, exchange operators, and business development companies. Clay joined Moody’s in September 2021.

Prior to joining Moody’s, Clay was an Associate Director at S&P Global Ratings for 10 years covering a variety of bank and non-bank financial institutions. Prior to S&P, Clay worked at UBS in equity research and equity capital markets. He holds an undergraduate degree with a major in finance from the University of South Carolina.

Bruno Baretta is a VP-Senior Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group. He currently covers a portfolio of finance companies including payday, subprime auto, and middle market lenders.

Prior to joining the Finance Companies team, Bruno worked as an Associate Analyst covering a portfolio of finance companies, securities firms and global investment banks.

Bruno holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University.

Annabel Schaafsma is a Managing Director and Global Head of the Structured Finance Group within Ratings and Research. She is responsible for a global team that both assign primary ratings as well as the surveillance of existing ratings covering all asset types including Asset Backed Securities, Corporate and Residential Mortgage Backed Securities, Structured Credit and Covered Bonds.

Annabel has many years of experience in credit analysis, as well as managing credit professionals. Annabel first joined Moody’s in 2001 in the Structured Finance Group where she went onto leading teams assigning Primary ratings to Residential Mortgage Backed securities and the surveillance of Consumer Asset Backed Securities in EMEA. Prior to her current role she worked in Credit Strategy and Standards Group responsible for the Methodology Development Group. Prior to joining Moody’s Annabel worked for Credit Suisse in the Credit Risk Management department in various roles in London and New York. In 2006 Annabel joined Standard Chartered Bank as Head of Credit Research for the Structured Credit Investment team that invested in structured finance instruments. Before re-joining Moody’s in 2010, Annabel was head of Traded Credit Risk Management for Standard Chartered Bank in London responsible for the identification and analysis of credit risks within the firm’s trading business.

Annabel is passionate about diversity and inclusion; she is the executive sponsor of the Moody’s UK Women’s Business Resource Group. Annabel holds an undergraduate degree in Economics focused in finance and accountancy from Manchester University
