Sebastian Paredes is the Head of North Asia of DBS with oversight of Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, and the Chief Executive Officer of DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited. He is also the Chairman of DBS (China) Ltd. 

A banker of over 30 years, Sebastian has a strong track record in building franchises across multiple markets. Prior to joining DBS, Sebastian was the President Director of PT Bank Danamon Indonesia, where he successfully solidified the bank’s position in retail, SME and commercial banking, and made inroads into micro lending business. Before Danamon, he spent 20 years at Citigroup in South America, Turkey and Africa.

Sebastian holds a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Fresno (California, USA) and an International MBA from IE Business School (Madrid, Spain). He speaks five languages (Spanish, English, German, French and Bahasa Indonesia).

Mr Ellick Tsui, JP is Executive Director, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of CTF Life, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CTF Services Limited.

With over 30 years of insurance experience, Mr Tsui has expertise in marketing and branding, product development and pricing, investment and asset-liability management, valuation, capital management and risk. His regional business development experience spans China, India, Indonesia and the Philippines. He has held senior roles at BOC Life, HSBC Life, Sun Life, Manulife and Canada Life. Before joining CTF Life, he was Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Financial Officer of BOC Group Life Assurance Company Limited.

Mr Tsui was Chairman of the Hong Kong Federation of Insurers and is a Councillor of its Life Insurance Council. He chairs the Task Force on RBC Enhancement and serves on committees and advisory bodies of leading insurance, accounting, financial-services and business organisations, including the Financial Services Development Council, Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce and Actuarial Society of Hong Kong. He is also a member of the Asian Financial Forum Steering Committee.

Mr Tsui holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Actuarial Science from the University of Toronto. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, the Society of Actuaries in the United States and the Actuarial Society of Hong Kong.

Mark Czajkowski is the Chief AI Officer for Manulife Asia, where he leads the firm’s regional AI strategy and transformation agenda across markets. He is responsible for scaling AI capabilities, accelerating adoption across the business, and ensuring the responsible deployment of AI to drive measurable value for customers, advisors, and the organization.

With over 20 years of experience across leadership roles in Asia‑Pacific, Mark has deep expertise spanning AI, advanced analytics, digital transformation, and operating model design within financial services. Prior to his current role, he built and scaled AI and analytics capabilities in multiple markets, helping embed data‑ and AI‑driven decision‑making at enterprise scale.

Before joining Manulife, Mark held advisory and leadership roles at IBM Business Consulting Services and Macquarie Group, working across consulting, startup, and financial services environments. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Technology Sydney.

David Walker is the Chief Information and Operations Officer at Mox Bank, a globally recognised digital bank headquartered in Hong Kong.

Mr. Joubert is a managing director and Head of APAC Insurance Solutions at Oaktree Capital.  He is primarily responsible for developing and managing the insurance client base in APAC.  Prior to joining Oaktree in 2025, Mr. Joubert served as the Head of Investment Consulting at AIA Group in Hong Kong, where he led the Investment Consulting unit, an internal strategy and solutions team which worked on initiatives including developing the Group’s private markets platform, and helping AIA entities optimize their investment strategies.  Mr. Joubert has also held roles at EY, Oliver Wyman, Natixis, Deutsche Bank, and Deloitte.  He holds an M.Sc. in mathematics and finance from Imperial College London and a B.Sc. (Hons) in mathematics from the University of the Witwatersrand.  Mr. Joubert is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries

Mr. Gabriel Kung is responsible for bringing Bowtie’s vision and commercial strategy to life, as well as driving continued growth.

Gabriel was previously the Director of Digital Commerce of a multinational insurer and led the change in creating the first online life insurance platform in Hong Kong, as well as implementing multiple InsurTech initiatives in the telematics, digital wallet, big data and business automation areas across SEA markets. 

Sally Yim is a Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group. Based in Hong Kong SAR, China, Sally is the Head of APAC Financial Institutions, responsible for Moody’s analytical teams covering ratings and research on APAC banks, insurance companies, and non-bank financial institutions such as securities and leasing companies. She is also a co-head of Moody’s Global Banking and Global Insurance & Asset Management rating franchises. In addition, Sally leads the Global Financial Institutions Group’s Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) efforts.

Sally joined Moody’s in February 2005 as an Associate Analyst in New York, covering property & casualty insurers. She transferred to Hong Kong in 2006 and completed a short stint in the Corporate Finance Group, supporting analysts in the
oil & gas, petrochemical and steel sectors. Sally rejoined the Financial Institutions Group as an Analyst in January 2007. Since then, Sally has covered various Asian financial institutions, including insurance companies, banks and securities firms and subsequently, became a manager overseeing various teams covering the ratings and research of Greater China and Korean financial institutions.

Prior to joining Moody’s, Sally worked as a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young LLP in New York, specializing in private and public insurers. She also worked at Ernst & Young’s National Professional Practice, where she focused on technical accounting research, while assisting in accounting consultations.

Sally holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Accounting from the University of Michigan. She is a CFA charterholder and also a Certified Public Accountant.

Ning Loh is Managing Director, Global Head of Credit Strategy at Moody’s Ratings, based in Hong Kong. In this role, he is responsible for defining, articulating and promoting Moody’s global house views on credit drivers, macroeconomic forecasts, financial markets and emerging markets dynamics. Concurrently, he is also Chief Credit Officer for APAC and works with rating groups throughout the region to develop Moody’s perspectives and research regarding macroeconomic, policy, and thematic trends that affect credit risk.

Since joining Moody’s in London in 2005, Ning has held roles across various markets and rating groups in Europe, Asia, and the US. In 2015, he moved to Hong Kong to lead the structured finance new ratings franchise for South and Southeast Asia. In 2018, Ning led the U.S. Corporate Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) team. He later returned to Hong Kong to head the North Asia (excluding Japan) team in the Project & Infrastructure Finance Group before taking on his current position.

Before joining Moody’s, Ning practiced law in London, specialising in structured finance and debt capital markets. Ning holds a Master's in Civil Engineering from Imperial College London and is a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales.

Alok Kumar is Global Head of Analytical Services and Managing Director, India. As Head of Analytical Services, Alok leads a team of more than 400 analytics professionals working in tandem with our clients’ in-house analytics teams, and utilizing the very latest Moody’s RMS risk models and technology platform, to provide services such as data engineering, hazard and risk hot spot identification, accumulation management, and portfolio optimization. As Managing Director for India, Alok oversees business operations for Moody’s insurance solutions in India with almost 600 employees, providing overall leadership and strategic direction for the business units and functional teams focused on analytics, risk models and software development. Alok has over two decades of global experience in the (re)insurance industry and extensive expertise across the spectrum of risk modeling, underwriting, analytics, risk management and governance. He also has a deep understanding of Moody’s insurance solutions clients, in terms of their operations, as well as the issues they face. Prior to Moody’s RMS, Alok was the Managing Director and Head of Group Risks & Analytics at Swiss Re, with responsibility for risk quantification and solvency assessment. During his nearly 20 years at Swiss Re, Alok also held the role of Managing Director and Head of Swiss Re Bangalore. Alok has a Civil Engineering degree from IIT Roorkee, and a master’s degree from Texas Tech University. He also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Chen Huang is an Executive Director within Moody’s Financial Institutions Group. Based in Hong Kong, she manages teams of analysts covering the ratings and research of Asian insurers and Chinese banks. Chen joined Moody's in December 2020 as a Senior Vice President from Autonomous Research/Sanford C. Bernstein, where she primarily covered Chinese banks as a partner before moving to her most recent position as a consultant in China macrofinancial research. Previously, she worked at CLSA (now CITIC CLSA) as a senior analyst covering Chinese banks and non-bank financial institutions. Earlier in her career, she worked as a senior auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers and had a brief stint at Caijing Magazine (now Caixin).Chen received her Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University in the U.S and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of International Business and Economics in China. 

Rebecca Tan is an Executive Director in the Financial Institutions Group (FIG), based in Hong Kong SAR, China. She manages a team of analysts covering the ratings and research of Korean banks as well as Greater China and Korean non-bank financial institutions.

Rebecca joined Moody’s in 2015 as an Associate Analyst and has progressed through roles of increasing responsibility. During her tenure with FIG, she led ratings across banks and finance companies in key South and Southeast Asian economies, building strong relationships with issuers, regulators and investors throughout the region. She also authored high-profile research reports and represented Moody’s at media interviews and investor conferences.

From 2023 to 2025, Rebecca was part of the APAC Regional Management team, working closely with senior management to develop and execute Moody’s global strategy across the region. Her responsibilities included overseeing the operations of Moody's Ratings Singapore, managing relationships with Moody's affiliates and serving as a Non-Executive Director on the board of an affiliate’s subsidiary. Rebecca rejoined FIG in 2026.

Prior to joining Moody’s, Rebecca was a banking regulator at the Monetary Authority of Singapore. She has 15 years of experience in the financial industry.

Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honors) from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and is a Chartered Accountant.

Andrew is a Senior Director of the Insurance Solutions business in the Moody’s Hong Kong office. He has worked for over 20 years assisting customers in the application of enterprise software solutions. Andrew focuses on a variety of client-focused work including the development of our IFRS 17 proposition, and direct oversight of implementation projects. In this role he collaborates with advisory services, research, product, sales, and implementation services teams to deliver tailored solutions for insurers.

Andrew has over 10 years’ experience in risk management for pensions, banks, asset managers, and insurers. Before joining Moody’s Analytics, he worked at Markit/QuIC, Algorithmics, Mercer, and RBC. Andrew is a CFA Charterholder, and holds a variety of designations including the FRM, PRM, and CAIA.

Stefan Angrick is the Head of Japan and Frontier Market Economics at Moody's in Tokyo. He holds a master's degree from Leipzig University and a PhD from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies in Tokyo. He has previously held positions with Oxford Economics, the Asian Development Bank Institute, the Bank of Finland, and Keio University.

Sean Hung is a Senior Vice President with the Financial Institutions Group at Moody’s Investors Service Hong Kong Limited. Sean is covering a portfolio of banks and non-bank financial institutions in China.

Before joining Moody’s, Sean worked in Hong Kong as an equity research analyst for Barclays Capital Asia Limited, specializing in Chinese banks and payment companies. He had also worked in credit analysis and risk management in Visa Hong Kong, specializing in settlement risk of the financial institutions in North Asia.

Sean has a BA in Financial Services from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and an MSc in Financial Engineering from City University of Hong Kong. He is also a CFA and FRM.

Joseph Lin is a VP – Ratings in the Financial Institutions Group in Hong Kong, responsible for the coverage on Taiwan and Hong Kong banks as well as NBFIs in China.

Joe has extensive experience in debt capital markets and credit ratings. Joe joins Moody's from CLSA Hong Kong, where he was a Director in Rating Advisory from 2020 to 2022, and prior to that, he was a Director in Debt Capital Markets at CCB International Capital Ltd in Hong Kong from 2017 to 2020. As a rating advisor, his coverage included financial institutions and corporations in China and ASEAN, and he also acted as an ESG advisor.

Prior to his role in rating advisory, Joe was a credit rating analyst at Standard & Poor’s Global Ratings from 2007 to 2017 where he had diverse experience covering infrastructure issuers, leveraged finance transactions as well as acting as a trainer. He was based in New York, Taipei and Hong Kong.

Joe received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Syracuse University, Master of Business Administration in Financial Management from Pace University and Master of Science in Management from New York University.

Juwon Lee is Vice President – Ratings with Moody’s Ratings, Financial Institutions Group. Based in Hong Kong, she covers a portfolio of financial institutions in Korea and Mongolia. 

Juwon newly joins from Australia and New Zealand Banking Group where she covered Korea financial institutions and Japan banks for seven years. Prior to ANZ, she spent six years at Macquarie Securities as an equity analyst covering Korea shipbuilding, machinery, and logistic companies. Juwon also held positions at MUFG Bank and Hyundai Oilbank. 

Juwon holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ewha Womans University.

Kelvin Kwok is a Vice President - Ratings with the Financial Institution Group. Based in Hong Kong, he covers insurance companies in the Asia Pacific region. 

Before joining Moody’s, Kelvin worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers as a senior audit associate covering life and general insurance firms.

Kelvin holds a bachelor’s in Business Administration from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst.
