Olivier Panis is an Executive Director in the EMEA Financial Institutions Group based in Paris, covering a portfolio of European Global Investment Banks (GIBs) and other banks in France and Benelux. 

Olivier joined Moody’s in Dubai in 2013 where he assumed responsibility for a portfolio of financial institutions in the Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCC) and North Africa. Prior to joining Moody’s in 2013, he was heading the Portfolio Management team for Corporate Banking Emerging Markets at Barclays. He started his career as a financial analyst at the French Ministry of Finance in Paris. Olivier Panis holds a MSc in Economics from the Université PARIS I (Sorbonne).

Sarah has been the lead analyst for most countries in the European Union, and is also a former lead analyst for the United States. She is currently the lead analyst for France and Italy, among other European countries. She is also one of the Sovereign Risk Group’s global spokespeople. 

She joined Moody’s in 2009 after completing a Sloan Fellowship at the London Business School. Prior to this academic sabbatical, she spent seven years at the Financial Services Authority in London where she headed the regulator’s Risk Analysis area and acted as its chief macroeconomist. Before joining the FSA, she worked in Dun & Bradstreet’s Economic Analysis Group for six years, where she was the organisation’s Deputy Chief Economist. 

She holds an MA in European Studies (with a concentration in Economics and Finance) from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University in Washington, DC and an AB with a double major in Government and History from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire in the United States. She is a CFA Charterholder and is co-chair of the Macroeconomic Committee of the CFA Society France. She is a dual citizen of the United Kingdom and the United States and is based in Paris.

Vice President -Senior Analyst, Financial Institutions Group, based in Paris. Roland is the sector lead for the French banking system, and covers a portfolio of banks in France and Benelux. Roland joined Moody’s in 2008, and has covered banks in multiple banking systems including France, the UK, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Israel and Norway. He has also been the sector lead for non-bank financial companies across Europe. Roland was involved in the global effort leading to the current global methodology on banks, which includes the introduction of the Loss Given Failure framework -a response to the shift in public policy toward implementation of resolution regimes. Roland started his career at HSBC.

Laurent is Group Credit Officer, responsible for the proper implementation of policies, procedures and methodologies, for financial institutions across EMEA. Prior to his role, Laurent had been lead analyst for financial institutions in France and the Benelux region since February 2015.

Prior to joining Moody’s Laurent has worked as Head of Regulatory and Prudential Affairs with Crédit Agricole S.A., since 2012. He was responsible for the monitoring of prudential and regulatory developments and assessing their impact on this large French banking group. Before 2012, Laurent held several banking supervisory positions at Banque de France. His career at the central bank spanned many years in the banking supervisory authority (Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et deRegulation), and he was also seconded to international organisations. In this capacity, Laurent worked at the Secretariat of the Basel Committee in Switzerland between 2003 and 2006 where he provided analytical support in the context of the development of the Basel II framework. Between 2009 and 2012, Laurent was also seconded to the Competition Directorate General of the European Commission (DG-Competition) as a member of the Task Force for Financial Crisis Resolution which monitored member states’ state aid for ailing banking institutions. 

Laurent holds a postgraduate degree with distinction in International Finance and Economics from Université Paris IX Dauphine and a degree from the Institutd’Etudes Politiques de Paris.

Alexandre Saada has been the Chief Financial Officer of Credit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale, since 2021.

In 2015, he became advisor to the Executive Management then Chief Financial Officer of Crédit Mutuel Nord Europe. Since June 2017, he has been Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Banque Fédérative du Crédit Mutuel and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Crédit Mutuel Home Loan SFH. He is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of CIC Ouest between 2018 and 2023.

Alexandre Saada began his career in London in 1992 at S.G. Warburg (merged in 1995 into UBS Investment Bank) in the corporate finance department, specializing in financial institutions before working as a managing partner at S Capital from 2002 to 2010.

In 2010, he joined Société Générale as Head of Mergers and Acquisitions for the financial institutions sector for France and Benelux.

Alexandre Saada is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris (1988 - Economics and Finance section), holder of a master’s degree in management science (1987), a post-graduate degree in international economics and finance (1988) from Paris Dauphine University and a Master of Science in Finance (1989 - Jean Monnet grant) from Lancaster University (UK).

Guillaume Lucien-Baugas joined Moody’s in September 2007 and is based in Paris in the Financial Institutions Group where he has responsibilities for rating a number of banks in France and the Benelux. Prior to joining the Financial Institutions Group, he was part of the Structured Finance Group at Moody’s, rating CDO and CLO transactions. 

He started his career in asset management at Eiger Capital Limited in London, where he was a senior credit analyst in the fixed income markets.

Mr. Lucien-Baugas holds a masters degree in Finance and Management from Dauphine University (Paris IX) and a postgraduate certificate in Finance from ESCP Europe. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Vanessa is a Senior Vice President in the Funds & Asset Management group, based in Paris. She joined Moody’s in 1998. She is Team Leader in EMEA and Asia Pacific, responsible for ratings and research in the asset management industry and fund finance. Vanessa holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from University Laval of Quebec, Canada and is also graduate from EDHEC (Ecole de Hautes Etudes Commerciales du Nord), a French Business School. She holds a SFAF diploma (i.e. the French equivalent to the CFA).

Leroy Terrelonge is a Senior Vice President in the Moody's Ratings Cyber Credit Risk Group, where he is responsible for creating and executing the group's research and outreach agenda. He works collaboratively with stakeholders across Moody’s to build and assess cyber datasets and publish timely and relevant research on cyber risk and its impact on financial performance. Leroy has more than 20 years of risk experience working in government, international education, tech startups and corporates. Prior to joining Moody’s, Leroy led a team of analysts at Flashpoint, a threat intelligence company that researches cybercriminal communities, and previously worked as  an analyst at the National Security Agency. e has been cited in both domestic and international media on cyber risk issues and has presented at cybersecurity conferences around the world. Leroy graduated from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy with a Masters in International Business and holds an A.B. in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations cum laude from Harvard University. He also served as a Princeton-in-Asia fellow in Almaty, Kazakhstan and serves on the board of this organization. He is an avid touch rugby referee.

Charleyne Biondi is a VP in the Digital Finance and Digital Assets team, leading the policy and regulatory research surrounding emerging technologies.

Before joining Moody’s Digital Economy team, Charleyne worked as a political science researcher at Columbia University in the City of New York and at the Center for Political Research at Sciences Po (CEVIPOF), focusing on the philosophy of technology and the societal implications of digital transformation.

Charleyne holds a dual Ph.D. in political theory from Columbia University and Sciences Po. She is a published author and pursues her research interests as a senior fellow and technology expert at the Montaigne Institute in Paris. Prior to her Ph.D., she worked as an analyst at J.P. Morgan Chase and graduated from a Master of Finance at Sciences Po Paris and Fundaçao Getulio Vargas in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
