Rahul Ghosh is Managing Director – Global Head of Sustainable Finance for Moody's Ratings.

Rahul leads global oversight for the credit rating agency’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) research and outreach strategy. In this capacity, he is responsible for co-ordinating high quality and impactful research exploring the credit implications of ESG, as well as digital and in-person outreach to meet the growing market needs of investors, issuers and other important stakeholders.

Rahul is a regular participant at high-profile industry working groups, market briefings, external conferences and media engagements. He is a member of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures, a market-led initiative to develop a risk management and disclosure framework for nature-related risks. He has also represented Moody’s on the UN Principles for Responsible Investment's advisory committee on credit ratings and the Green and Social Bond Principles working groups. He has presented on the impact of climate change on emerging market sovereigns at the G20 Green Finance Study Group and on sustainable finance trends at the International Finance Corporation’s Global Debt Mobilization Conference.

Before his current role, Rahul oversaw Moody’s ESG Solutions Group outreach and engagement activities globally with the sustainability stakeholder community. He also previously worked in Moody’s Credit Strategy & Research team where he was responsible for thematic research and outreach on global emerging market (EM) credit trends. Prior to joining Moody’s in 2013, Rahul was the Head of Asia at BMI Research (Fitch Solutions) in Singapore, leading a team of macroeconomists and industry specialists in analysing sovereign risk, sector performance and the capital markets.

Rahul is a passionate impact leader for Moody’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives in London, chairing the pillar on “activating an environmentally sustainable future”. He holds a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Edinburgh and a Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Society of the UK.

Dr. Mischa Lentz heads ADB’s Private Sector Climate Finance Team, leading the provision of support for climate finance transactions and formulating strategic approaches to achieving climate targets. Since joining ADB in 2020, he has managed private sector climate finance funds, designed innovative blended finance instruments, and expanded ADB’s subnational finance footprint in Asia and the Pacific.

Previously, Mischa was an Associate Director at EBRD, where he opened the Lebanon office and led cross-sector banking operations. He also worked in EBRD’s infrastructure team across London, Amman, and Istanbul, leading various project- and corporate-finance transactions. Before EBRD, he was a Senior Consultant at PwC Germany, focusing on corporate restructuring and distressed M&A in Central and Eastern Europe.

Dr. Lentz holds master’s degrees in civil engineering and finance, and a PhD (Dr.-Ing.) from Technical University Berlin. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of the Philippines, Diliman.

Ronald is Head of Sustainable Banking Development at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA). He is responsible for the development and implementation of policies, standards, guidelines and tools to promote sustainable capital flows and facilitate banking sector’s management of climate related risks.    

He is a seasoned financial professional with over 25 years of experience in international banking, finance and investment, focusing on sustainable and transition finance, as well as transactions in the energy, infrastructure and natural resources sectors. Prior to joining the HKMA, Ronald was Head of Sustainable Finance for Asia at a major international bank, leading the bank’s sustainable banking activities in the region. Besides, he was an active contributor to the sustainable finance community, leading committees of industry associations, driving advancements in market standards, and taking part in public awareness and capacity building campaigns.

Ronald graduated with a degree in Economics, majoring in Finance, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Max started his banking career with HSBC in the Debt Capital Markets team in London in 2013 covering global Financial Institutions and was able to witness first-hand the development of the Sustainable Finance markets.

Moving to Asia in 2018, Max has undertaken a number of roles across the sustainable finance market, covering bonds, loans and equities. In his current role, Max leads the Sustainable Capital Markets team for APAC, supporting issuers in developing the sustainability finance strategies and evidence the value of their sustainability endeavors.

Being sector agnostic, Max has worked with clients across an array of sectors including agriculture, power and utilities, oil and gas, retail, telecommunications, industrials and metals and mining to enhance capital providers understanding of their approach to ESG.

Mervyn Tang joined Schroders in 2021, based in Singapore. He holds two complementary roles. As Investment

Director, Global Equities, Mervyn represents Schroders’ global equities investment capabilities across Asia,

delivering investment insights, market outlook and portfolio solutions to asset owners and wealth partners in

the region. As Head of Sustainability, Mervyn works with Asia clients on designing and implementing their

sustainability investment objectives and frameworks, including the development of sustainable investment

solutions across asset classes. He leads the company’s Regional Centre of Excellence for Sustainability, driving

Schroders’ sustainability strategic initiatives.

Prior to joining Schroders, Mervyn was Global Head of ESG Research at Fitch Ratings, overseeing a research

team of 4 analysts across London and Hong Kong which primarily focuses on thematic and cross sector ESG

research. Over the past two decades he has held roles in finance and policy across geographies and asset

classes, at MSCI, the Bank of England, and Citigroup.

Mervyn holds a Master of Arts (Oxon) degree in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford

and a Master of Science degree in Economics from the University of London. Mervyn is a Chartered Financial

Analyst (CFA) charterholder, as well as a teaching faculty member of the Wealth Management Institute and

Nanyang Technology University. Mervyn is an executive committee member of the Singapore Sustainable

Finance Association (SSFA) and co-lead of their Transition Finance workstream, and co-chair of the Investment

Management Association of Singapore’s (IMAS) ESG working group.

Natasha Brereton-Fukui is Senior Vice President, Global Sustainable Finance Research, at Moody’s Ratings in Singapore.

In addition to driving Moody’s Ratings’ global thought leadership on sustainable and transition finance, Natasha oversees overall research content in the Asia-Pacific region. As co-chair of Moody’s APAC Minds Business Resource Group, she also champions mental and physical health and wellbeing in the workplace.

Before joining Moody’s in 2014, Natasha spent more than a decade in journalism, based in Tokyo, London and Singapore, chiefly with Dow Jones Newswires and The Wall Street Journal. She was named “Journalist of the Year” in the 2009 UK Institutional Press Awards.

Natasha has a BA in Chinese Studies (Hons) from the University of Oxford and was a Daiwa Scholar from 2002-4. She holds the CFA's Certificate in Climate and Investing.

Jing Li is an AVP with Moody's Sustainable Finance team, based in Singapore. She has produced Second Party Opinions for green, social, sustainability and sustainability-linked frameworks for clients across various sectors, including financial services, real estate and energy. She has also supported the development of supplementary opinions for Moody’s SPOs on regional taxonomies and standards, such as the Singapore-Asia Taxonomy, Australian Taxonomy and Hong Kong Taxonomy.

Prior to joining the Sustainable Finance team, Jing Li was with the Sovereign Risk Group, where she supported the coverage of credit ratings of a portfolio of sovereigns, multilateral development banks and sub-sovereign entities in Asia Pacific. Before joining Moody's, Jing Li worked at an infrastructure indices provider, where she led a team of analysts covering infrastructure projects and markets across Europe and Asia Pacific. She also has prior experience in audit and accounting, covering firms in several sectors including energy, real estate and technology.

Jing Li holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from the University of Queensland and is a CPA.

Teong Chuan (TC) is the Head of Research and Development at ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC), where he leads the integration of innovative technologies across the company’s global data centre portfolio. In this role, TC is responsible for strengthening STT GDC’s technical capabilities to support the deployment of advanced, next-generation solutions across the group.

TC’s scope of work covers a wide range of innovative technologies, including AI-driven cooling system optimisation, launch of the “FutureGrid Accelerator” testbed, hybrid liquid-cooling proof-of-concept initiatives, concrete strengthened with CO₂ and sustainable fuel alternatives such as Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO). TC’s forward-thinking leadership ensures that STT GDC’s infrastructure continues to evolve in step with the demands of the digital age.

With over two decades of experience in designing, building, and operating mission critical facilities, TC has held a variety of roles across sectors including data centres, broadcast media, higher education, and pharmaceuticals, spanning both design and management functions. Before joining STT GDC, he was closely involved in the development of Singapore’s new broadcast centre and led engineering operations at the MediaCorp Broadcast Centre.

Priyanka Jain is a Senior Manager, Treasury Loans at AT, based in Sydney, Australia. She joined the firm in 2023 and plays a key role in overseeing the firm’s treasury lending activities, driving operational excellence, and supporting strategic growth across the region. In addition to her core responsibilities, Ms. Jain leads efforts to align AirTrunk’s sustainability ambitions with its financing strategy, ensuring that capital structures support the company’s long term environmental objectives. Before joining AT, Ms. Jain spent seven years at Citi, where she held a variety of roles across the Global Markets and Capital Markets franchise as well as the Commercial Bank. During her tenure, she developed deep expertise in structured lending, client coverage, and cross border financing solutions, contributing to major initiatives across multiple business lines.

Shirley Zhang is a Vice President in Sustainable Finance Credit at Moody’s Ratings, based in Singapore.
She focuses on ESG integration into credit ratings and leads thought leadership research and outreach across APAC. Shirley is also a core member of Moody’s Development Finance Working Group with a dedicated focus on topics such as blended finance and credit enhancement in bridging the transition financing gap.

Prior to joining Moody’s, Shirley served as Director in Standard Chartered Bank’s Investment Banking practice, advising on transition-related financing and M&A transactions across the Power Utilities and Infrastructure sectors. She also spent 15 years as a research analyst at Wood Mackenzie, CCB International, and Credit Suisse, covering the Energy and Metals & Mining sectors.

Shirley holds a Master’s degree from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Warwick, majoring in Accounting and Finance.

Ray Tay is a Associate Managing Director in Moody’s Project and Infrastructure Finance Group. Based in Singapore, Ray covers project finance, transport, utilities and other infrastructure credits in Southeast Asia and India. Ray also authors research and conducts outreach focused on topics such as project bonds and the role of funding diversity and credit enhancement in bridging the infrastructure gap, particularly in emerging markets. Ray is also a member of Moody’s APAC ESG Working Group.

Before joining Moody’s in 2012, Ray was a Director with the Global Infrastructure & Projects Group in KPMG. Ray has also worked as a Senior Business Analyst with the Singapore Power Group, focusing on regulatory economics in each of its principal local operating subsidiaries.

Ray holds a Bachelor’s in Economics with honors from the National University of Singapore.
