Shinyung KANG is Managing Director, Head of Debt Capital Markets Korea, Capital

Markets & Advisory at HSBC and covers bond origination and execution across G3 markets,

local currency markets as well as securitization and structured finance. He also supported

equity capital market transactions.

He joined HSBC in January 2010 and worked at HK DCM desk for the first six months

before moved back to Korea DCM at HSBC. Prior to joining HSBC in 2010, he started his

DCM career at ABN AMRO and worked at RBS (post acquisition of ABN AMRO) by

December 2009.

He worked on various debt capital market transactions. He has done more than 500 debt

transactions including numerous debut or market-opening deals, namely, Digitally Native

Bond, CAD Maples, MXN bond, Dual listed bonds of CNH dimsum and CNT Formosa,

RMB Kimchi bond, Insurance Hybrid, etc. He worked on more than 20 currency markets

with strong knowledge on local currency markets. He also worked on ECM transactions as

well as structured finance transactions.

On ESG front, Shinyung had developed ESG framework/SPO (Second Party Opinion) and

lead-managed Korea GSS (Green/Social/Sustainability) bonds since 2017 to contribute

HSBC Korea to achieve #1 ESG structuring bank. He acts as Advisor of Association for

Supporting the SDG for the UN (UN SDG – Korea Association) for ESG development in

Korea.

Shinyung has been awarded by FinanceAsia Awards 2023 – Dealmaker Poll winners as Best

DCM Banker – North Asia as well as Best Sustainable Finance Banker – North Asia. This

was the Korea’s 1st individual winner from major APAC capital market awards. In 2025, he

won the FinanceAsia Dealmaker Poll winner (Best DCM Banker – Korea) again.

He graduated from Korea University.

Charles Huh is the Country Head of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (Korea). With over 30 years of experience in the information and communications technology (ICT) industry, he has worked with various multinational companies in Korea, the United States and Singapore.

In his most recent role as Head of Customer Solutions Management (CSM) at Amazon Web Services Korea, Charles was responsible for establishing the CSM team, leading cloud transformation programs and supporting strategic enterprise accounts and Customer Cloud Migration projects.

Charles is leading the launch of STT GDC’s first Korea data center, STT Seoul 1, a high-rise, AI-ready facility designed for next-generation cooling and operational resilience. He is committed to delivering safe, environmentally sustainable, and highly efficient data center that provide the best service to customers.

Charles holds a master's degree in Telecommunications from the University of Colorado.

Changho Moon is Representative Director and Head of Relationship Management for Moody’s Ratings in Korea.

In his role, Changho leads Moody’s market outreach in Korea, including relationship management, business development and continuous engagement with various Korean and global market constituents.

Changho has more than 25 years of experience in banking and credit ratings, including building strong relationships with debt issuers, intermediaries, investors, policymakers and the media in the Korean markets.

Prior to his current role at Moody’s, Mr. Moon was Head of Commercial and Communications at Moody’s affiliate Korea Investors Service (KIS). Before that, he served as the Head of Ratings Group for six years, having joined KIS as an analyst in 1999. He also worked in the International Banking department of Korea Long Term Credit Bank.

Changho holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master’s in Finance from Yonsei University in Seoul.

Fabian Astic serves on Moody’s Ratings’ Senior Leadership Team as Managing Director, Global Head of Digital Economy, and Chair of the AI Oversight Working Group. He leads the rating agency’s preparedness efforts related to the digitalization of the global economy, including Digital Finance, AI Analytics, and Cyber Credit Risk.

Fabian is a recognized expert in traditional and digital finance, often contributing to industry events and conferences. He serves on the Digital Asset Markets Subcommittee of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s Global Markets Advisory Committee, and on the board of QuantCubeTechnology, an AI-powered predictive analytics company.

Prior to his current role, Fabian led quantitative analytics and innovation for the rating agency. He joined Moody’s in 2006 and had various roles in the Credit Strategy & Standards and Structured Finance groups.

Fabian’s academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics with a focus on Mathematical Finance, and a Master’s Degree in Mathematics Applied to Economic Sciences from Université Paris Dauphine. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Science and Executive Engineering from the Ecole des Mines de Paris, where he specialized in Quantitative Finance.

Juwon Lee is Vice President – Senior Analyst with Moody’s Ratings, Financial Institutions Group. Based in Hong Kong, she covers a portfolio of financial institutions in Korea and Mongolia. 

Juwon newly joins from Australia and New Zealand Banking Group where she covered Korea financial institutions and Japan banks for seven years. Prior to ANZ, she spent six years at Macquarie Securities as an equity analyst covering Korea shipbuilding, machinery, and logistic companies. Juwon also held positions at MUFG Bank and Hyundai Oilbank. 

Juwon holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ewha Womans University.
